Nadia’s sweet, naïve, and trusting. She’s also desperate for Isaev’s help.
What could’ve been a simple dinner with her parents spiraled out of control, leaving her at his mercy while his true colors show.
He thinks it’s an entertaining way to pass his time with an easily flustered woman. This is strictly business. Isaev and Nadia have an agreement; one that she is clearly at a disadvantage.
He, with his competitiveness and confident smirk, goes out of his way to sabotage her plan and make her heart flutter.
When she looks at him with so much adoration, he decides, albeit selfishly, that he’s never going to let her go.
Isaev is fond of Nadia, and maybe too protective as well.
It’s hard for Nadia to resist the hostile darkening of his blue eyes and rolling intimidation across his inked muscles.
I did like this but it is the usual with the manipulative anti hero and the too naive heroine. I am not complaining as sometimes after a too angst ready this authors books are much appreciated (I tend to ignore the daddy themes if they are there and just pretend it’s not there!) good read.

Celia Crown has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Nadia and Isaev. Nadia needs a boyfriend to take to the dinner her parents are having on New Year's. She has told them she has a boyfriend and now they want to meet him. She unknowingly sits at a cafe table with someone already sitting there. She is talking to herself when he lets her know he is there. She asks him to marry her. Things develop between them and they start to really see each other. The night of the dinner, Nadia is nervous about Isaev meeting her parents. Nadia doesn't know that Isaev knows her father, and is surprised when they greet each other. Isaev ends up getting Nadia to do things that he wants her to do without her realizing she is doing it. Something happens and Nadia decides to go back to her condo and when Isaev finds out he stops it. He takes her back to her condo so that she can get some more things and while there packing, she hears a knock on her door. When she answers, a man is there with a harness and as he asks if she had seen his dog, he has a brick in his other hand and brings it down on her head. Isaev goes after the man and hits him but the man runs. Isaev can't go after him because Nadia is on the floor bleeding. She is laying on the floor and Isaev keeps calling her name. It takes a lot for her to open her eyes for him. She wakes up in the hospital and she finds out from Isaev that the man who attacked her is dead. Will things work out between Nadia and Isaev? This was a good book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Nadia created a boyfriend to appease her parents but now she needs to produce one for New Years Eve . She is so distressed she unseeingly sits at a table where a man is already sitting. When she notices him she asks him to marry her then explains her dilemma. He agrees to help her after ordering her lunch.
He, Isaev, turns out to be more than she can handle as he is determined to have her. Isaev keeps turning up where ever she is no matter how far out of his way she is. He is a creepy stalker. When her parents go out of town on their annual trip they ask Isaev to move her into his apartment where he can keep an eye on her and keep her safe. They do not realize he has a room plastered with photos he has taken of Nadia. Nadia agrees because she wants to make her parents happy. She has been receiving creepy phone calls and is not sure if it is Isaev or someone else. Things finally come to a head and she winds up hit over the head with a brick. This dark love story does have a happily ever after.

Nadia loves her parents but not their determined need for grandchildren, so when they think she has a secret lover instead of working overtime she tells them a lie and now needs to find a date for the newyear family meal. Blurting will you marry me to a complete stranger whose table she commandeered was out of desperation. Isaev found Nadia's nervous rambles and creativity refreshing and he delighted in her discomfort. Playing the role of her boyfriend is something he doesnt plan on ending especially as he had been planning this meet for some time. Nadia feels confused by Isaevs ways but also feels a comfort within his presence. Thisbis a well written manipulative obsessive romance read with desires, suspense hot scenes and more!

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the short love story between Nadia and Isaev. This book was a combination of instant attraction, fake relationship and suspense. Throw in some humor, drama, secrets, danger and it makes for a pretty good read. Nadia, while distracted, meets him and in a desperate situation asks him to be her fake boyfriend. The story twists and turns from there. Iseav knows that she is meant to be his. Her getting hurt though, seems to knock the rest of the walls down around his heart. These two were night and day in some regards but also fit like puzzle pieces in others. Their love story is a little intense at times but the emotions are there. I enjoyed this story. The characters have a lot going on in a short book

**Nadia is gullible; I can use that to my advantage and control her. I will never hurt her, but I will dictate what I want her to do.**
2.5✯
°Virgin heroine °Experienced hero °No OW/OM drama °Switching POVs °Manipulative hero °Dumb weak naïve heroine °No separation °Older man/younger woman °No cheating or scenes with OP °A man attacked the h (not sexually) the H saved her °Not very steamy - there was only 1 sex scene and it was in the epilogue 😞 °Lackluster epilogue: 5 months later
**“I will hunt you down, darling girl, and take away everything you love,” he reckons, hostility raging as he sneers. “Don’t even think about leaving me.”**
Iseav was an intense character but not even close to the level of her MCs in her darker reads. Nadia was sweet, but not nearly as troubled. Together they made for a relatively lighthearted read. The book focused on them, with her parents as very secondary characters.
I like when artists change things up, and this was a definite pleasant read and I’m glad I grabbed this when I had a chance. It was a nice intermission between Celia Crowns darker books. And I’m definitely looking forward to more dark from this author.

I can't seem to get enough of Celia Crown's books. They drag you into the story and don't let you go. This one was lighter than some of her other stories but just as good. Loved Iseav, he was sexy and extremely, secretly conniving. With his wall of Nadia's pictures it leads you to believe that maybe he was stalking her but it was never said. Nadia is sweet, and easily manipulated. I love this story as much as I love her darker stories. Both are just as satisfying. I can't wait until her next book comes out. Sweet and Shameless is about how I would describe the h and H, Nadia and Isaev. Having read several books by Celia Crown this story is different as it is a lot lighter but still have some of the same characteristics of the characters. I will say that I did not like Isaev, he is manipulative, mean, arrogant, etc. but for me I did not get his charm or his connection with Nadia. I did like Nadia but found the premise of the story to be more than a bit far-fetched and I had to put reality aside. Overall this is a quick and easy read which was okay to me.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
I really enjoyed this story. I love Celia Crown and her dark stories and even though this story was definitely not as dark as some of her others I've read, that in no way lowered my opinion of the story. I really liked the characters and became engrossed in the story until the very last page. I kind of wish Celia would do a few more stories like this one in comparison to her really dark books. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves Celia Crown stories.

This is a sweet story with Nadia and Isaev who meet when she is stressing about finding a date for her parents New Years Dinner. She is talking to herself when she realizes that he is sitting at the same table with her so she ask him to marry her which leaves him intrigued so he said yes. Then she explains she needs a fake boyfriend for her parents to stop nagging her for grandchildren. They go to the dinner where she finds out he knows her father and now Isaev just wants to tease her but is actually very attracted to her and wants a real relationship with her.
The book revolves around Nadia wanting to fool her parents and along the way asked a stranger to pretend to be her boyfriend. However little did she know, he enjoys teasing her and slowly wanted to just keep her to himself. The story was pretty well written aside from a few grammatical errors and character holes.

Isaev knows the moment this silly girl sits at his table and doesn't stop chattering he is curious. Curious enough that when she asks him for a favor he's going to play along and guide her in the direction he wants Nadia to go. Will she catch on or will his deceptive ways get her where he wants her?

Isaev agrees to help Nadia fool her parents into thinking he is her fake boyfriend but who is really fooling who, did he plan this, was it a chance meeting, so many questions lots of back and forth, some suspense and a HEA. 4.5 stars.

Would've read it but I couldn't get over the H holding her hand so tight that it caused 'intense pain' and that's repeated a fw times. Not sure why this has such a high rating.
A bit choppy. But was that way to be quick. Would be good flushes put. I enjoyed the cocky H and the h. Wish it was steamier but the one time was good.
