Welcome to Luminous: where your pleasure is our purpose. Fan-favorite author Stacey Lynn tantalizes readers with a sensual new series.
Haley
The first time I felt Master Jensen's presence beside me, I knew he would be the one to show me all the kinky pleasures of Luminous.
That I would give my body to him. Begin my journey to sexual freedom at his feet.
But when I dared raise my eyes to his, I saw he would get a part of me no man had had before: my trust.
Jensen
From the instant I saw her blush, I was captivated.
There was power in her innocence—a power I quickly controlled.
Every moan, every cry, every new awakening was mine. I pushed her boundaries and watched her sexual confidence grow…knowing that in the end, I would have to let her go.
I know the price of love and I'm not willing to pay it.
I dominated her body and she enthralled my heart. But I have to walk away before I ruin the one I love.
Stacey Lynn likes her coffee with a dash of sugar, her heroes with a side of bossy, and her wine a deep shade of red.
The author of over thirty romance novels, many of which have been best-selling titles on Amazon, AppleBooks, and Barnes & Noble.
Born in Texas and raised in the Midwest, she now makes her home in North Carolina and loves all things Southern. Together with her ultimate tall, dark, and handsome hero, she has four children. Her life is a chaotic mess that fights with her Type-A, list-making, neurotically organized preferences and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
This is the first book I have read by Stacey Lynn, and what a great introduction to her writing it was! This is a story of a woman discovering a new side to herself, and a man reclaiming a part of himself that he has been suppressing. It is also the story of a man and a woman learning to trust again. Engaging, emotional, informative, and kinky, Dominate Me is definitely a worthwhile read!!
Recently divorced, Haley has decided now is the time to explore a side to her sexuality that she has ignored her whole life. She sets up a meeting with a local bdsm club owner, Dylan, to take a tour and find someone to train her as their sub. Dylan thinks she would be perfect for his friend, Jensen, and invites him to come see for himself.
Jensen is reluctant, because he has been out of the lifestyle for the past couple of years due to a traumatic event involving his previous sub. He goes to the club to appease his friend, but winds up staying once he lays eyes on Haley. It doesn’t take long for him to agree to train her, because he can’t deny that his friend was right about her. She is perfect for him, but he makes it clear to her that this is an arrangement, not a relationship. Once he trains her, she will move on to find another Dom. Dating and feelings will never enter the equation.
Haley is excited to begin this new journey in her life. She trusts Dylan, and when he tells her Jensen is the one who should train her, she goes with it. It doesn’t hurt that Jensen is incredibly attractive, sweet, and charming, or that they have amazing chemistry both in and out of the bedroom.
Soon, the lines of their relationship begin to blur. Haley and Jensen are confused, and wind up hurting each other along the way. What happens when their hearts become involved in something neither one of them thinks they are ready for? Will they have to walk away from each other for good?
I really enjoyed Haley and Jensen’s story of two people that decide to stop denying who they truly are once and for all. Haley and Jensen are likable characters with back stories that make you sympathetic to their hang ups. It is easy for the reader to become invested in their relationship right away, because it is clear that they are exactly what each other needs.
Dominate me is well paced and well written. The characters are strong, yet vulnerable, open minded, and passionate. The romance is sweet, and the sex is kinky! If you like bdsm romance, are a fan of this author’s writing, or want to give some of her work a try, I recommend this to you!

The last two teaser pictures are slightly edited and taken from the author's FB page.
Haley has had desires that she's hidden for years. She yearns for the opportunity to submit to someone and let them give her the pleasure she so desperately needs. After her divorce she decides it's finally time to stop hiding this part of herself and goes to Luminous, a sex club, to get what she wants.
Jensen hasn't trained a sub since his last D/s relationship ended horribly. But his friend, and owner of Luminous, pushes him to take a new sub under his control and get back in the lifestyle. When he sees Haley at the club he knows he can't just walk away from her and is going to be the one to train her. He just needs their relationship to be strictly Dom/sub and nothing more. He had no clue his pretty girl was going to be so hard to resist, though.
I'm a big fan of Stacey Lynn's and have read multiple books of hers, but this is by far the hottest I've experienced. I loved the hidden intensity that the story held and even though the BDSM lifestyle wasn't overly featured within the story we still got a heady dose of it. Just enough to have you sitting on the edge of your seat with your eyes glued to the pages.
I really enjoyed getting so much of Jensen and Haley's relationship and their easy banter. They were a good couple together, especially in the bedroom where I thought they were going to catch my Kindle on fire. Some of their scenes had me fanning myself and wishing I was reading this while alone so I definitely know this will be a re-read for me.
Bottom line, Dominate Me is a must read. It doesn't delve too deep into the BDSM lifestyle so don't let that aspect of the book turn you off if it's not your thing. It's just pure hotness between two people with a little kink. I can't wait to see what else will happen within this series and I hope we'll get to visit these characters again in the next book.
Great start to a new series. Club Luminous sounds like a cool place to play. Haley is new to the actual world of BDSM, but she's done her research and even talked with owner Master Dylan. He's agreed to help her find a Dom. He asks his friend and fellow Dom Jensen. Jensen hasn't had a sub in years since tragedy almost befell his last sub. Jensen agrees to meet her, and the rest is history. Of course there's drama with her ex-husband and a woman from his past who doesn't understand the word no. Lots of hot, hot sexy scenes. Loved Master Dylan and his slave, Gabby. Plus we get a glimpse at the next Dom Simon.
This book is so steamy hot! I made sure to read it nice and slow so I could enjoy every delightful word.
This author knows how to lay on the sizzling heat and entice us with a smoking hot guy that is looking for love, but doesn't know it. Taking on a trainee in the domination world.... Oh yes, please, sir! Jensen is a wet dream!
This book is loaded with delicious scenes that leaves you wondering where you can find a Jensen to call your own! Plenty of dirty talking, passion, and a sweet HEA that make you want to swoon, Dominate Me is a win!
DOMINATE ME is my very first read from this author AND it's the start of a delicious new series called Luminous. A toe-curling romance bursting with sensuality with every turn of the page, DOMINATE ME had my heart pounding and cheeks blushing from beginning to end. Master Jensen was just all-around YUMMY and Haley had this intense curiosity about her that made her a very lovable heroine. Together these two created sparks from cover to cover.
"I am yours. Everything I am is for you. Always."
This was a HOT read right from the start! It mesmerized, hypnotized, and pulled me right in, leaving me aching for more. This slow-burning and erotic romance captivated me and had me missing the BDSM Romance genre like CRAZY! Stacey Lynn made her mark with me on this one, and I can't wait to see how she enthralls me next!
For starters, let me just say that Jensen was absolutely delicious. I loved everything about this man. When Jensen and Haley meet he is only going to train her as a sub. There WILL NOT be a relationship between the two. Well that lasts all of about two minutes lol. As he gets to know Haley he realizes she may be the perfect woman for him.
I also liked Haley a lot although she really confused me sometimes with her push/pull. I did love how well she knew herself and what she needed. She was never wishy washy in that. She was brave yet vulnerable and I liked that about her.
With a good cast of secondary characters, a little drama and angst, this book worked perfectly for me. I loved the last scene of the book that proved how perfect and in tune with each other these two were. I can't wait for the next in the Luminous series. I would love Dylan and Gabby's story (a prequel maybe).
I was in the mood for a hot read and Dominate Me had just landed on my Kindle so I decided I'd give it a try. I've not read this author before and had no idea what to expect. New fan, right here! This was so much more than a hot read (don't get me wrong, it was way hot!) but more than that it was an incredible story with these fantastic characters with real depth and emotion and I loved every single second of it.
I loved these characters, Jensen and Haley were fantastic. Haley was just this really strong woman out to explore more of herself and I loved her strength and confidence. Jensen was commanding and sweet all rolled into one and I loved how they clicked so instantly and the bond that formed between them. Not only was there an incredible sexual exploration happening but there was this wonderful, heartfelt story of trust and love woven in. There are histories from their past to deal with and a bit of drama mixed in but it was all just perfectly intertwined. I felt fully invested in these characters and enjoyed their journey and their growing commitment.
The writing was so great. There was a wonderful pace and I loved all the details. Great character development. Awesome build. Seriously steamy, kinky sex scenes that were very well written. The scenes could be intense and emotional and sex does play a big part in the story, but I thought all the scenes made total sense and had purpose to this emotional journey that was happening. There was a true love story building an I thought it was all fantastic.
Sex. Love. Exploration. Trust. Love. Dominate Me was an excellent read that I couldn't put down. It was exciting, entertaining, incredibly hot, full of passion and love. Loved it!
OMG!! I really loved this book! I couldn't put it down for a sec when I was reading it! Haley recently is divorced and now she is exploring the lifestyle that she had always been curious about it. She wants someone she can submit to. She wants someone who would take control. Now, she finds a club that accepting new members. Two years ago, Jensen had an incident with a Sub and after that he promised himself that never trained a Sub again. Now, Haley with just one look has awakened the Dom deep inside him. Now his decision has changed. He would have her and he would tame her. This book isn't about strength or weakness. Haley is a strong woman. She runs her business… This book is about Dom-Sub. It's about control, about trust to each other. He is in control but she has the power to… I really loved the characters. The story line is well-written. I really enjoyed it!
I'm always excited about a new BDSM series, especially when it is the start of a new series written by an author I have enjoyed reading previously. Dominate Me begins Stacey Lynn's new Luminous series. Haley is fresh out of a failed marriage and is ready to explore her sexuality, more specifically her desire to submit. When she meets Dylan, the owner of Luminous, it seems like the perfect opportunity to explore her submissive nature. Dylan is sure that Haley is the perfect submissive for his friend, Jensen. Jensen has been out of the scene and suppressing his desires for two years. He isn't completely convinced when Dylan calls him, but after taking one look at Haley, he is instantly drawn to her innocence. They agree to play and explore her submissive nature, keeping things only physical. As time goes on, Jensen wants to take things to another level, but Haley refuses, wanting to protect herself from more heartache. Can Haley and Jensen overcome their fears and take another chance on love? I very much enjoyed this story and both the main characters and the secondary cast of characters. I did find myself frustrated a few times with Haley and Jensen, though I did understand their fear given their pasts. I also could have done with a tiny bit less past relationship angst, but on the whole this was an enjoyable and solid start to a new series.
I was introduced to Stacey Lynn through her Fireside Series, which I have really enjoyed. Dominate Me is pretty different from that so I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and give it a go. I'm so glad I did. Apparently I've been missing a well written Dom book because I devoured this one.
Haley is a recent divorcee who is independent and strong. She knows exactly what she wants and she goes after it. What she currently wants is to explore a dominate/submissive sexual experience. She has been researching it online and is reading to test the waters.
Jensen is a natural dominate who has been out of the lifestyle for the past two years. His past has kept him away and he has no intention to return. That is until a friend somehow convinces him to step back into Luminous, the club that he used to be a huge part of. While he has reservations, the desire of that part of his being forces him back and escorting the eager newbie, Haley. Will he be able to show her around and go back to his normal life or will the pull of both Haley and that lifestyle be too much?
What I liked about this book was the pull between Haley and Jensen. They were super attacked to each from the start. Both struggled to maintain some sort of seperation between real life and their fantasies of the lifestyle but it was obvious from the beginning that they were made for each other.
This book is HOT and I couldn't get enough of it. I thought it had the perfect balance of dom/sub fantasies vs lifestyle. Both Haley and Jensen are extremely likable and you can't help but root for them from the stat.
Overall, I enjoyed this steamy book. If you are looking for a sexy, good time with some sprinkled in humor, dirty mouths and an overall love story, then this is the book for you. Well done Stacey, I can't wait to read more from you!

This was a great read from Stacey Lynn, I am a huge fan of her FIRESIDE SERIES, as with that series this story had an emotional punch but it superseded my expectations with the chemistry between Haley & Jensen, they needed one another more than either of them knew.
3.75 Dominate me is the first book I read by Stacey Lynn. It was hot , sexy and Kinky.
“ I want you. Only you. I want you on all the ways I need you, and all the ways you want me.”
Haley and Jensen are great together, explosive even, because the sex scenes between them are intense.
Haley is a successful business woman. Divorce has changed her and gave her the courage to explore a side of her sexuality that has always intrigued her. She wants a dom and by joining Luminous, she will fulfil her deepest desires. Master Dylan sees in Jensen the perfect Dom for her.
Reluctant to begin with, Jensen agrees to teach everything he knows to Kaley. Their relationship is hot and intense from the very beginning. However, rules are set and love is not an option.
I have enjoyed reading their story but I did connect at all with Haley. I thought that she was annoying at times and too pushy, demanding for a submissive. Jensen was a strong alpha and a caring Dom.
I had no idea what I was getting myself into with this book. I complained to my friends that I was looking for a complete alpha, someone absolutely dominating, someone who would consume me. Boy did Lynn deliver. Jensen was commanding, caring, and confident- everything I love in an alpha.
My favorite part of this book was reading Jensen's POV. While Haley was cute, quirky and a bit shaky with her confidence the Jensen chapters blew me away. His personality was absolutely palpable. I lived to read his points and get inside of his head and longed for the moments his dialogue appeared in Haley's POV. It's not often that a female writer can craft a male POV that isn't only strong but far surpasses her female POV...and Lynn delivers with Jensen.
This was my first read by this author, but I will definitely be checking out more of her work. If you're in the mood for something steamy, heady and consuming...look no further.

“Are you ready to play, Haley?”
Haley Portsmouth is recently divorced and looking to get started on the next chapter of her life. A chapter that she hopes includes becoming a part of the BDSM lifestyle. She’s felt the pull towards submission for a while now and after doing extensive research she believes this lifestyle is for her. Through her research she stumbles upon Luminous, a local BDSM club and Master Dylan. He welcomes her into his club and has the perfect Dom in mind to show her the ropes. Jensen Rhodes is a skilled and experienced Dom but he hasn’t participated in the lifestyle in a few years due to the way things ended with his last sub so when he receives a call from his best friend, Dylan, he is hesitant to take him up on his offer. His curiosity gets the better of him, however, and once he lays eyes on the beautiful and innocent Haley, he knows he has to be the one to train her. But that’s all he’s looking for, he’ll train her and he’ll get out, because he knows the price of anything more and he’s not looking to pay it again. But can Haley truly be happy in a purely D/s relationship? And the more time Jensen spends with her, will he be able to keep his heart out of the equation?
At the end of the day, I wasn’t just a sub… I was still a girl who wanted a boy to love her.
I haven’t met a Stacey Lynn book that I haven’t liked and this one is no exception. This is her first foray into the BDSM genre and I thought it was definitely a strong start. There were definitely plenty of BDSM elements to the story and the dynamic between Jensen as the Dom and Haley as a new sub was the main focus, but compared to some of the other stuff out there that I’ve read, this is pretty tame. So don’t be scared by the BDSM aspect if you’re new to the genre. Don’t get me wrong though, this book is plenty steamy! So even if you’re big into BDSM romances, I think this book will still satisfy you.
One thing you can definitely expect from a Stacey Lynn book, however, is a strong storyline and a lot of heart. This is true for Jensen and Haley’s story as well. Haley was new to the scene, but she was well researched and knew what she was looking for (for the most part anyway). I liked seeing her come into her own over the course of the book. If you’ve read Enflame, which is part of The Affair Series, then you will already be familiar with Jensen, though we weren’t privy to his sexual proclivities in that book. He wasn’t your stereotypical Dom due to what happened between him and his last sub, he’s got some definite baggage pertaining to that situation and I liked this different spin. He was a great Dom but there were times where he might have not done the right thing in terms of what Haley needed or was looking for due to some of the issues he had. Don’t worry, he doesn’t mistreat her or anything, it’s more like he holds himself back more than he should or lets her get away with more than a Dom should which, as you can imagine, can be confusing for a new sub. I liked exploring the complexities that came along with this dynamic while also experiencing a well written and sexy romance. I am definitely looking forward to reading more in this new series!
She was mine. She’d given herself fully to me. But she owned me.
This was the first book I have read from this author, but definitely want be my last. Stacey has away to draw you in not only with the storyline but with the characters too.
Hailey is newly divorced and has always known she wanted to be dominated. After months of research and a meeting with Master Dylan she is ready for the next step. What she wasn't anticipating was see the most handsome man in her life. With one touch she felt and knew her life was going to change. Jenson has been out of the screen for 2 years because of his last sib trying to take her life. When he receives a phone call from his mentor Master Dylan he get that feeling of wanting to Dominate again. When he see Haley for the first time, he knows he ready to do this. With one touch he knows she all he will ever need. Can these two get away from the past and last or will the domination be to much?
If you really like erotica books then this needs to be your next read, it will not leave you dissatisfied.
This is my first novel that I've read written by Stacey Lynn and I'm so glad that I did. Dominate Me has so much going for it in terms of elements found in the story that it kept me captivated from start to finish. This is the type of book that will cater to some of the hidden desires that so many of us keep away from the world in the hopes of not being judged, but at the same time, it takes us through the process of BDSM in a lighter tone without overwhelming the reader. Haley is a single mother who always had a feeling that she was missing from her life and when she stumbles across the website for Luminous a local BDSM club, she can't deny her curiosity any longer, and calls to make an appoint to join. Once there, she meets Jensen the Dom who will be training her to be and develop her submissive side. 4 breath taking dreams
As much as Jensen wishes he could erase the scars of his past, he can't and comes to the conclusion that even though he'll agree to train the newest sub, his heart will be heavily guarded against the pain he suffered with his previous sub. Their attraction is undeniable and the chemistry... wow. It's not too intense in the sense that Stacey Lynn doesn't overwhelm her readers with the erotic aspects, but she does spin a tale in such a way that less is more and nails it perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this book and would gladly read it more than once if only to discover more of this world she's created and making sure I haven't missed anything this time around. For my introduction to Stacey Lynn's writing style I have to say that I loved every moment *ARC provided by Author in exchange for an honest review. Reviewed by Kathleen, The Small Girl from A small girl, her man and her books
What the hell did I just read??? WOW !! Holy hell!!! Stacey Lynn has outdone herself!! It hooked me from page one right to the very end.
Haley has come out of a marriage that was never meant to be, put the past behind her or trying to; and now looking for what she knows she needs, to explore her need to submit. She's the owner of a small resort on Lake Michigan, successful and really well put together; she runs a great business, she's got Claire and her best friend Anya to help and these are strong women. She meets Dylan who is the owner of a club called Luminous. They meet and talk and he invites her to the club for a tour. She is hoping to find a Dom, someone to meet and explore the desires she has.
Dylan is a Dom as well, and in a long term relationship with Gabby. Knowing his best friend Jensen has stayed away from the club and denied his dominate nature because of a bad experience he can't move past, Dylan calls him and tells him to come to the club that night. That he has found the woman that Jensen needs to move on. A woman who wants to willingly submit and explore. Jensen is upset and angry with Dylan, but he does show up. From the moment he sees Haley he knows. They spend some time together, it's Jensen who takes her on the tour of the club, observing her and deciding that yes, he is going to take the risk to train her. But that is all. He makes that clear to her when they meet later and talk. No dates, no friendship, nothing outside the Dom/sub role and she understands that. Haley does well with boundaries and rules.
As things progress with them, Jensen slowly changes his role, they talk on the phone, start spending more time together, which is confusing at one point for Haley after a run in with an old friend of Jensen's. Another woman, who is a complete b**** and while she plays a minor role here, she still manages to undermine Haley's thoughts and direction. Confused by his changing the rules, Haley tells him that. He's upset (understatement). Haley knows she shouldn't have cut him off, but she's trying to also protect herself. Her ex is trying to sue her. He's another minor character in the story. These things just add fuel to the small fire that starts, add in his ex sub and Haley makes a dash, Jensen gets angry, then realizes he needs to douse the flames. Time to take charge.
This book just blew me away and I believe it's Stacey's best book to date. She wrote strong male and female MC's which was great to see. Jensen, a man who has feelings and is caring, but also a Dom, who gets angry and hurt. When you see that unleashed; that was one hell of a scene. His lack of communication precipitates some of the things that happen. Haley, intelligent, caring and her willingness to explore and speak her truth to Jensen. I loved their relationship. There was plenty of steamy scenes in the book, even the non dom scene were hot as hell. There's a little angst thrown in that had me tense a few times. There wasn't a thing that could have made this book better. What an incredible read. It's not just about the sex, it's a look inside the minds of these two as the work their way through their relationship. Incredible. I'm ready for book two!! Great book Stacey!!
**advanced reader copy from NetGalley and Carina Press in exchange for a fair review***
Dominate Me by Stacey Lynn literally blew me away. Erotic romance have always been my favorite and Stacey did not disappoint. This was my first book by Stacey, and I already know it won’t be my last. I won’t lie and say I wasn’t apprehensive when I first started Dominate Me because I was. With so many books about BDSM coming out, I worried it would be the same as some others I’ve read. But, a huge but here, Dominate Me was nothing like I expected. For starters, page one gave me all I needed. I knew instantly I would enjoy this book, so I continued to read on. By the second chapter, I knew I wouldn’t be able to put it down. Stacey Lynn has a way with words, and one that I literally devoured in a matter of hours. I couldn’t stop myself even if I wanted to. Haley and Jensen are two very different characters, but also so much alike. While Jensen is a Dom and Haley a sub, they each have a past that they’re both trying to overcome. They’ve both been hurt and I can’t blame them for being careful and safe. I really loved how Haley found the courage to step out of her shell and discover what she truly wanted with her sexuality. I found her character very mature for one, and she was very easy to relate to. I actually admired her and her strength throughout this book, and it seemed at every turn, she nailed it. With Jensen, I really loved him too. It was easy really especially with the dual POV. I understood why Jensen was so afraid to get back into the Dom life, and he was exceptionally good at it. But not only that, Jensen really showed so much character development and that only made me like him more. When Haley and Jensen are together, you need to be ready. I’m talking about fireworks, a new pair of panties, and possibly a glass of wine after you read how hot they are. But the main thing I loved about Dominate Me was the fact is wasn’t all about sex. Yes, there’s sex obviously, but it wasn’t just about the sex with them. It was way more than that, and to me, that made this book amazing. Overall, I’m very glad I gave this book a chance. I’ve found a new author and I’m definitely interested to see how the rest of the books in this trilogy go. I highly recommend checking this one out. It’s definitely one I’ll be rereading.
Writing: Great Violence: Some Sex: Explicit Narration: 1st person, alternating
If you enjoy reading BDSM stories with a beginner sub, then I highly recommend Dominate Me by Stacey Lynn.
Haley Portsmouth, a recent divorcee, has decided it’s time to follow her heart when it comes to relationships. In her previous marriage, she was never fulfilled, leading her to believe she needed a something more. She decides to look in to a D/s relationship. After much research and encouragement by a well-known Dom, she is introduced to Jensen Rhodes.
Jensen Rhodes is a successful lawyer who is doing everything in his power to avoid another D/s relationship. After a destructive two-year relationship with his previous sub, Jensen has sworn he would never partake in that kind of relationship again, that is until respected Dom and good friend Dylan calls him for help.
Giving in, Jensen agrees to meet Haley to determine if he would be able to lead her through exploring her hearts desires. He is determined to keep this strictly D/s and is clear in his wishes to stay out of any sort of long term relationship. His goal here is to introduce Haley to the lifestyle, essentially training her for a future Dom.
But as is with any intimate relationship, feelings surface. Along with the pressure of Jensen and Haley’s exes, avoiding the growing feelings becomes increasingly difficult. Will Jensen be able to train Haley and then let her go? Will Haley be able to learn all she needs and then walk away from Jensen, and will the past ruin everything for Jensen and Haley before it can even get started?
BDSM stories are some of my favorite, especially when the female lead is new to the scene and needs a strong hand for guidance. They evoke some of the strongest emotions while I read due to the breakdown of the sub to see that her Dom will take care of her. There is nothing I enjoy more than having those emotions pulled from me during reading. Dominate me pulled some of the best feels out of me and I LOVED IT. Anything that can make me cry and laugh in the same sitting is a winner for me.
Dominate me is a standalone novel, written in first person, alternating between main characters with a HEA.
"I know the price of love and I'm not willing to pay it. I dominated her body and she enthralled my heart. But I have to walk away before I ruin the one I love".
I loved this story, it was well-paced with engaging and captivating characters. Although BDSM stories are a bit passé in my opinion, this book was well worth reading. It had the right balance between sensuality and genuine tenderness. The development of the main characters’ relationship is the focal point of this story. The sexy scenes were scorching hot and the intense chemistry between them was palpable.
Haley is recently divorced. She wants to turn the page of her failed marriage and explore a lifestyle she has always been curious about : she wants to find someone she can submit to. Jensen Rhodes was a dominant but has left the lifestyle after a traumatic experience with his last submissive. For years, he has suppressed this side of himself. Haley and Jensen are introduced by Jensen’s friend Dylan. Seeing Haley for the first time completely undoes him and he surrenders to his need to have her. Haley is intimidated but also determined, she wants to explore her boundaries with Jensen.
She feels comfortable with him, he is confident, tender, caring and yet enigmatic. She trusts him on a profound level, he pulls something from her she has never felt before. Jensen is attracted to her, but wants to maintain his control over the evolution of their relationship. This book is the first in the author’s new series “Luminous”. This book is a sweet, racy and swoony read that grabs you from the first page and takes you on a journey to the characters’ happily ever after. I definitely recommend it!

Haley, newly divorced, has had sexual cravings she's hidden for years. She's done the research, asked the questions, and now she believes she's ready to give submission a try. After contacting a Dom on a chat site, she sets up a meeting at a BDSM club, Luminous, for a tour. Dylan is the one giving her a tour and he feels she would be perfect for his friend, Jensen, so he invites him to the club to take a look himself.
Jensen hasn't trained a sub in a couple of years since his last relationship went awfully wrong. Dylan pushes him to get back in the lifestyle and believes Haley is the right sub for him. He's reluctant, but when Jensen meets her, he knows he can't walk away. He tries to set strict Dom/sub rules but quickly, he finds himself breaking those very rules.
When the lines of their relationship start to blur, both are confused. The feelings are real but are they too soon?? Some assumptions are made and feelings do get hurt. Can they find a way to be who they truly are with each other?? Or is it too much to handle??
This is the first book by Stacey Lynn and I loved it! The story kept pace perfectly and never left me waiting for something to happen! I loved the chemistry that Haley and Jensen had from the start and as Haley learns, the intensity ratchets up! There are scenes of light BDSM-nothing too out there-exactly what you would expect of someone new to the lifestyle. It's red-hot chemistry with a little kink thrown in!
Dominate Me is the first book in Stacey Lynn's Luminous series and it's a must read! Haley and Jensen's romance is sweet and sizzling, passionate and vulnerable. Pure yumminess! I look forward to the next books to see what's going on in Luminous's private rooms! Plus a little check-up on what's up with these two!

This book was gifted to me by the Jeep Diva for an honest review. The rating and review are solely my opinion.
Haley Portsmouth is a free woman that is ready to explore the world of BDSM, a world she knows virtually nothing about, and that is part of the intrigue, but she also wants to know what it feels like to be pushed to her limit. It's something she has longed to experience and she thinks the Luminous club might just be the perfect place to live out her every desire, and once she is there she instantly knows she is where she belongs...
Jensen Rhodes is well versed in dominance, and knows just how to give a woman exactly what she wants, push her to her limits, and leave her completely satisfied. The minute he lays eyes on Haley he knows he has to have her, he can sense her innocence, see the curiosity written all over her face, and he wants to be the man to teach her everything she yearns to learn. And the minute he gets the beautiful temptress under him, he knows he never wants to let her slip away...
Once again Ms. Lynn has created a gem of a story that pulled me in from the first sentence and had me immediately submersed into a world of complete erotic literary bliss!! This tantalizing little page turner drew me in, had me addicted in a matter of minutes, and I knew there was no way I was coming up for air until I had devoured every luscious little morsel... and it was SO damn gooood! The chemistry between these two was packed with so much intensity that at times I swear I could literary feel the sparks arcing between them, and the anticipation lingering before every encounter had me breathless and on the verge of combustion... and certain that nobody does sexy quite like Ms. Lynn!! Loved every minute of this one, it was HOT! HOT! HOT!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.
This was my first book to read by Stacey Lynn and I am now a big fan. What I thought was going to be the regular BDSM relationship turned out to be so much more. The main character Haley is coming out of a dreadful relationship with her ex-husband and is in need of something different and tantalizing. In walks in Jensen, a Dom with a past of his own and both meet at the BDSM club Luminous.
And that is just the beginning…we watch this couple grow as Dom and sub and into a beautiful relationship. Both of the main characters had past relationships that were not the greatest and I really connected with them and felt sorry for what they each had to live through. I felt Jensen had it the worst with his past, you will find out what happened and just love him even more. And as for Haley coming out of a marriage that was basically loveless, I knew it would be hard for her to trust the next man that would be in her life. Luckily she was appointed to the teachings of Jensen who cared for her and showed her how to be the best submissive possible.
There were other characters intertwined throughout the book as well and I do believe there will be at least one or two books in this series, I hope. It seemed like the author did her homework as to what goes into the Dom/Sub relationship and it seemed believable. The only drawback about this book was that I thought it did end a little abruptly, I wish it would have gone on. That is probably me just being selfish though. Overall, this book had all the wonderful emotions, sexy scenes, and a happy for now (HFN) ending.

Yessssss! This was a book I was so looking forward to reading and it completely lived up to every expectation I had. This new to me author just put herself up there in my book. Loved it.
There was so much going on and I never lost the story. I never wanted to skim. Honestly there was no chance to. If you do skim you could miss something really important. The sex is amazing. Super hot! Jensen and Haley were perfect for each other. He's truly the perfect Dom for her.
Haley has always wanted to explore this side of herself. Wanting to see why she's always felt like she's missing something. When she finally takes the chance it's amazing. Her journey to finding herself if one of courage and strength.
Jensen isn't wanting back in the scene at all. But when he's asked to take a chance on a sub he's decided he can train one. He misses that part of himself. Past mistakes on his part could come back to haunt him if he isn't careful.
Will Haley be able to let herself go and find what she needs? Jensen has to be able to move on from the past in order to have a hopeful future. This was an amazing read and I wish so much there was more. I loved the characters and the story.
Stacey Lynn is a new 'to me' author who enticed me with the Dominate Me blurb. The story is steamy especially if you enjoy the BDSM genre.
It's been two years since Jenson Rhodes took part in the BDSM lifestyle. Two years since he's been to Luminous after a failed D/s relationship. He was practically ordered back to the club by his friend/mentor, Dylan. Dylan has a new sub who needs a Dom to train her
Haley is recently divorced and ready to try the BDSM lifestyle. After meeting with Dylan (owner of Luminous) she's ready to find her own Dom. The sparks fly when Haley is introduced to Jenson.
Initially they both agree to play and have sessions, nothing more. When Jenson wants to change the rules because he's developing feeling for Haley, she declines. Haley isn't ready and a possible future heart break. They both have baggage from their pasts that still haunt them. They continually have misunderstandings do to their lack of communication or miscommunication. Haley says she trusts Jenson but doesn't. There's a lot of flip flopping of emotions. I did enjoy the steamy scenes but the drama turned me off. 3 Stars.
Dominate Me was more than just another book about BDSM or a Dominant and a submissive. It was about self-discovery, letting go of some of the pains of your past and embracing what could be your future.
I really liked reading about Jensen and Haley’s journey into their D/s relationship. Jensen has not been in the lifestyle after something happened years ago and Haley wanted to discover her inner submissive side. When they are paired together the attraction and chemistry between them was undeniable but both have personal issues that needed to be worked through and watching their relationship develop and those issues being resolved was something that at times is lacking in other books. There is some side drama and while I think it added to the storyline some issues felt unresolved and I wish we had that closure.
Overall Dominate Me was a sexy read that I was able to read fairly quickly and one that I enjoyed. I do recommend Dominate Me if you are a fan of BDSM books or are looking for a sexy book to read.
