Help Me I'm A Hypochondriac!: Hypochondria & Cyberchondria – Health Anxiety with a Dash of Google

Rate this book
Following on from his first book, Philip Martins once again picks apart an old habit that he kicked many years ago, the delightful disease of the mind that was once known as hypochondria. This time round he is examining the technological side of things, and how one of today's greatest technological assets is making your health anxiety much worse than it needs to be. In the same vein as before, he aims to inject a little light relief, throw in a few more anecdotes from his past and show you why using the web to research your muscle twitching is a waste of time.

This is not a bad read but it’s lack of sourcing and citation is a real problem.

Fantastic read, just as great as the first one. Helps me, even when I’m in a panic. I love how the author makes you feel like you aren’t crazy and you’re not alone in the health anxiety fight. I hope he writes more because they truly truly help

Good advice

Was an interesting book. Some things he said really surprised me. Others, I had known. But, what blew me away was he said 2 things that my Therapist had told me!! Obscure things. Wbich, I did not bother to do. I will now!!
