Aiden’s mate is a fae. Fae don’t always like shifters.
Can the bear shifter convince Flora he’s worthy of her love?
When Aiden’s mate arrives in town, she isn’t interested in exploring their relationship. Not when she has a child to save.
As she journeys to the world beyond Wishing Moon Bay, this shifter isn’t going to get left behind. Flora needs his help, even if she’s too proud to admit it.
There must be a way to make her see they are meant to be together. That he’s supposed to love and protect her.
What Aiden doesn’t know is that she’s trying to protect him—from heartbreak. Because Flora has a secret that might keep them apart. Forever.
Flora needs information that might help her find her friend’s missing child. She does not come to town to meet a growly bear shifter who calls her mate.
However, she soon realizes that Aiden is a shifter she can depend on, someone who’ll be there for her no matter what.
When a shocking discovery sends them back to the fae realm, Aiden is by her side. Where she wants him to stay. Forever.
Will Aiden still feel the same way when he discovers her secret?
Harmony Raines loves to write romance filled with magic and love. Her men are usually not so alpha, but they know how to treat their fated mates, or alien lovers well.

Just my way of saying thank you for giving my books a try.
This is an OK shifter romance, with a likable couple -- but it seemed a little slow to me. I'm not sure why, because it wasn't especially long, but maybe it needed more showing and less telling. I also wanted a little more backstory on both Aiden and Flora. It gets 3 stars from me.
The couple does fall in instalove, which is typical for shifter romances. There are sex scenes, but they are not overly explicit.
I liked Aiden, and I liked that he didn't try to push Flora to accept him as her mate immediately. He understood that her people's dislike of shifters would make her hesitant to believe she was his mate, and was willing to show her that he could be trusted.
I did think that Flora would have had a harder time accepting the whole shifter and fated mates thing. She wasn't a shifter, and was dealing with her people's (fae) dislike of shifters as well as an arranged fae marriage, so I think she would have had a tough time with being the fated mate of a shifter. I did like that they were able to resolve another fae/shifter mating banishment, and that her arranged fae fiance was willing to release her from their engagement. I also liked that Silas (a vampire) helped with the banishment of the other fae/shifter couple.
One problem I have with all of this author's series is that there is so long between books. Lots of times I have to go back and reread some of the earlier books in a series, simply because it has been so long that I don't remember all the characters. That is frustrating. I know that this author writes lots of books -- but I wish she would concentrate on one series at a time, so that the books could be published closer together. For that reason, I made a point of not starting this series until I thought it was complete.
My rating system is below. 1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it. 2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws. 3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating. 4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one. 5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.
After how enjoyable the first two books were, sorry but the Fae part of this story just didn’t work for me on too many levels. I am not a fan of Fae stories as they always seem unjustly harsh in their thinking anyway and this plot just annoyed me. One spoilt Fae person can kidnap a child and threaten to hurt it if he doesn’t get his way and it seems there will be no repercussions on him. What actually happens with Silas arriving just felt like a big nothing. No real punishment except monetarily. This resolution is not believable as no one would accept Tisserand changed his mind like that. The relationship between Aiden and Flora took a back seat to everything else until 70% into the story but even once it became about them, I just didn’t feel their connection or romance. Flora is dishonest with Aiden and her ostrich attitude annoyed. She had plenty of opportunity to tell him the truth. Then after all the hints about her father not accepting her shifter mate, it is so,eve with just a few words and actions. Apart from all the Fae side of things, I loved that Aiden and Caleb find out the truth of their past and end up with a sister and more family. But we don’t find out if the boys were taken due to their fathers job. I also didn’t like that Fiona, who has been a character of strength in many books, had had her memory tampered with. Read through Kindle Unlimited.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the connection between Aidan and Flora well after they both got rid of their preconceived notions on each other since Shifters and Fae don’t get along. I loved that as soon as Aidan told his family that he’s going to help his mate Flora find a missing Fae child which hits close to home for him as he and his twin Caleb were taken from Foster Care and found by authorities later on in an apartment and they had no memories of who took them or why. Caleb didn’t bat an eye when her heard Aidan was going to help Flora Caleb told him that he’s going with them as they’re stronger together. Aidan and Flara had so much stacked against them but they still managed to get to know each other before bonding. I loved the new brother/sister relationship between Flora and Caleb. Both Aidan and Caleb got some surprises along the way after visiting Fiona the dragon/social worker in Bear Creek for answers in anything regarding the missing foster children and the traffic*ing ring. I’m looking forward to reading Caleb’s story next. I’d recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
Here's at his sister in laws new candy store when his mate shows up out of the blue and she fae. She needed his help to find a missing child, her friend daughter another fae that mated to a shifter. They were both raised that shifters and fae were not nice people. But they are adjusting to the mating business. His twin came with them. With the help of the parents, a shifter social worked and each other, they figured out who kidnapped her friends daughter. They were able to get her back with the help of a vampire, (he was friends with the mothers great grandfather and help the vampire. He was paying it forward. She finally had to tell her mate about the arranged engagement and banishment if she follows her heart and mate. Her mother challenged her father for his positive as lord ruler of their world. Its going to take time to change the law , that's been around forever, and their daughter shifter mate. The twin had help and found their family, they were kidnapped when they were little and before they were adopted. All is good.
Six brothers, all shifters but all, other than the twins, different kinds of shifters. In this story Aiden, one of the twins and a bear shifters, meets his mate. Unfortunately, or fortunately according to Fate, Flora is a Fae and Shifters as a whole don’t trust Fae. On the other hand, Fae don’t think much of Shifters. To the Fae, Shifters are more animal than human and are beneath them. However, Flora needs help and Aiden is there for her, like it or not. When she tells them that she is looking for a stolen Fae/Shifter child Aiden insists that he is going along. Being his twin, and always having his back, Caleb also insists on going with them, even if they have to go into The World Beyond; i.e. the Human world. One of the best things about this series is that they each have a story. The world they inhabit is well thought out, the characters are people you can relate to, there is always some action and, naturally, each of the brothers meets his mate.
The author has done a splendid job writing so well about a sensitive topic - child trafficking. Aiden was kidnapped and was going to be sold as a child shifter who was rescued along with his twin Caleb and was lucky to be adopted by Valerie. Flora is determined to help her friend Delphine whose child was kidnapped. Aiden empathizes as he has been through the same and decides to help his mate along with his brother. It's a mystery to find "who and why" took the kid. Flora has her own secret... How will all this end? Will they be able to find the kid before it's too late? Will Aiden and Caleb uncover about their own past? There was so much mystery and you are eager to read and uncover the truth. With every book Ivan keeps becoming my most favourite character in the book. Also, grew even more respect for Silas. Hopes he gets and book and his own true love. It was a good read.
Aiden and Caleb have been inseperable since birth, always have each others back, so what happens when one finds his mate and she is Fae? Flora is too busy for a mate, no matter that he is a giant bear shifter! She is on a mission to help her friends find their kidnapped child. Now on an adventure together, they will come upon more mysteries than they ever thought. This story is filled with adventure, mystery and visits from the past! Remember Fiona, the dragon? She just may be able to unlock the mystery behind the kidnapping of Aiden & Caleb. Flora has a secret she's been hiding too, one that could cost her the only home she has ever known. This was yet another wonderful story out of Wishing Moon Bay, with a few visits to the Fae Realm for a twist! Check this story out today, you won't be sorry!
It was my lucky day when I came across this author. Her books may not be for everyone. BUT if you are into shifter books and entertaining story lines then you just found your new author.. Her books can make you laugh and also shed some tears.. The only thing I'm not fond of but I'm the minority is the sex parts. I mean, sure its not at all bad for the younger crowd but since I'm 66 and single I could do with a little less sex .. BUT am I going to stop reading her books. ? Oh hell no . LOVE ALL HER BOOKS. SO Ms. Raines you keep writing and I'll keep buying. Don't ever stop !!!!
I love reading this author. Her books are well written and gives your really marvelous characters with some flaws as they are good. This book carries on from the first 2 bringing the characters in to continue with the family connection but driven by the ones being written about. These book have it all....a great story line with action, romance, suspense followed up by a happy ending. It also shows you a connection to the next in the family to meet their mate. I found the fourth book first which made me want to start at the first book. It didn't disappoint me. Enjoy reading this !
Flora went for help in finding her friend's missing child and found her mate, Aiden, instead. With Aiden's twin, Caleb as back-up, they found more then they bargain for.
A fast paced mystery drama, this group searches for answers to most pressing questions. With many in depth characters from the previous books; the story of Aiden and Flora emerges as one of locality and love for fated mates. I like that each story is unique and separate, but has a underling theme love and family.
Wow fate sure has a sense of humor, now both brother are Mates to a Fae..how ironic. Flora sure stand her ground..even choosing to challenge her father. But I got to say love sure changes things, because her father was shocked that his own wife would stand against him, even challenging him. But his eyes were finally opened because he truly love his wife..love it. Love occurs all, and now to Celeb story wow..big fan as always Winzie19 🤗💞.
Flora needs help to track down her friends missing little girl so she has come to Wishing Moon Bay to talk to a ex detective about his missing children cases. But that when she runs into Adein and he’s her fated mate. So as their journey begins thing will be revealed that will effect them all. So enjoy this very good read and see what it takes to find their HEA!!
Great addition to the Wishing Moon Bay series. Aiden and Flora make a great couple and it was so awesome that Aiden and Caleb found their sister. It is really interesting that the mystery of the kidnapped shifter children is a continuing thread in these stories. I hope we get to find out what really happened with them. I would recommend this story to any reader that enjoys shifter adventure romances.
I've read this third book of A Wishing Moon Bay Shifter Romance.
What a wonderful book that have given me hours of captivated intrigue of six brothers who are so different, but equally loved by their adopted Mom..The tightness of love and have been taught and taken root in hearts of all . I can't wait to read the other brothers books. Lots of action and family interaction. Love and action what more could you want.
This was so good since it was a story of a young couple that was getting to know each other to the point of being married, almost. All the adventures and Joy's that they experienced because of it, together. And then the Joy's of their life together. And then the new adventures that they were going to have because of it. Along with the other people that they have gotten to know.
It approach the topic of arranged marriages, prejudice on both sides, true fated loves. We resolved the mystery of the kidnapped shifter child but behind that was the larger theme of arranged marriages and what does it do to one’s cultures since faes and shifters are truely different cultures. I recommend this book to anyone over 18+ due to some mature topic.
Another good story about a mating in wishing moon bay. I enjoyed this story because it brought back people from bear creek and dealt with fae. The story had a few plots in it which I really liked. Looking for a missing child, finding lost family and meeting fated mates family of fae and changing history. A really good story that doesn't disappoint. Enjoy!
I found it odd she just didn't tell him, he just met her friend who was promised and even more shocking that he did not guess sooner.love this series want more brother bond time not just two at a time there is six of them and now 3 female sister in laws.plus a sister I wonder if she will be mates to one of his adopted brother s
Aiden, a wolf shifter and Flora, a far are a remarkable couple. They meet at the opening of the candy store along with Caleb, Aiden's twin brother. Aiden and Caleb meet their sister Zara. Karros and Elise, brother and sister and both Fae's have come to the hotel.
Aiden is a bear-shifter and a twin. When he meets Flora, a fae, he knows she is his mate. But the fae do not like shifters. Flora is going out in the other world to help find her friend's daughter who had been stolen. The mother is fae and the father, a shifter. Aiden and Caleb help recover the child and her father. Interesting twists. Great story.
An interesting look at what makes up a family, besides being born into one. Everyone struggles with a sense of not belonging every now and then, especially after an argument with one or more of the members. Persons also struggle to conform to an ideal of family, despite having different ideas of what their lives should look like.
Her Fae-vorite Bear by Harmony Raines. Bears mate is a Fae. A big no no unless written by Harmony Raines. Aidens mate is Flora who is on a mission to find her friends child who has been kidnapped. As her mate Aiden must go with her. Where Aiden goes, his twin Caleb goes as well. There's a big surprise for the twins. Another superb book by Harmony Raines.
Flora is looking for help to find her friend's missing daughter, she doesn't except to find a mate! Aiden is a shifter and is shocked to find is mate is a fae! Together they will find love and discover secrets!
Aiden and Flora's story is filled with questions, answers, mystery, love, family, enemies, reunions, adventure and lots more. We get a chance to even see Fiona. What more could any reader ask for? This author and her imagination is fabulous!
Mystery, action, some family drama, kidnapping, just a few things happening in this book. Flora is a strong fae , Aiden is a bear shifter. The two meet and in a few days they experience a life changing event.
All started with looking for a for a stolen fae child. The man who stole the child thought Silas would take his side, that didn't happen and by then Flora and Aiden were very aware they were fated mates.
An excellent and very developed storyline with very likable characters made for a very enjoyable read. I’ve really liked this series and am looking forward to reading Caleb’s story.
Another amazing book about Wishing Moon Bay Shifters and finding the one meant for them!! Definitely packed full of action and adventure with a whole lot of love thrown in. Don't miss out on any of these brothers finding their one and only!!
Twin bear shifter Aiden meets his mate, fae Flora, who is on a mission to find a kidnapped fae shifter child.
Pretty good tale, with several mysteries, aka child kidnappings, solved, families rejoined, loves found, memories rebuilt, and all in one convoluted, complex, story!
Love at first sight Aiden, bear shifter meets the intriguing Flora. The path of true lack veins rarely a smooth journey. They deal with many trails on their way to their happy ever after.
