Lex, Charlotte, Julian, Adrianna, Nash, and Kate, six people interconnected through family, friends, loyalty, love, lust, betrayal, and obsession, each with their own story to tell, and it is a story that will sit with you long after the last page has been turned.
What started as a friendship, turned into an affair, a man in a loveless marriage, one ending in insurmountable heartbreak, pain, and loss, only when the truth is realized too late, when attempts are made to reconcile, but to no avail, there is only one choice, to move on.

intrigue, revenge, mild-violence, vengeance, friendship, lust, loyalty, trust. It will hook you, have you turning the pages to find out more, with themes and triggers that will test any reader, reading this story, it enables the readers to really connect with the characters.
Their stories were raw and sensual, as it was powerful and confronting. It was fast paced and thrilling, it made my heart race and soar to unfathomable heights. The author knows how to write, to ensnare her readers to ensure they will come back for more, me I will come back for more.
And those s€x scenes in and out of the bedroom were downright filthy wicked, sensually dirty and erotic, the filthy dirty talk and language an absolute turn on, daring, explosive, wrong, physical, provocative, possessive, controlling, oh so steamy, deliciously wicked, dirty, hot, beautiful, dark, naughty, raw, powerful, passionate, wet, dominating, and wild, and their happily ever after's, are what any reader could want and more.

Boring
I just couldnt.keep going after the.first book. It was slow,.repetitious, and way to wordy. I didn't like the characters. Charlie should have ended things with Julian before she ever jumped into bed with Lex. Then kept stringing him along and cheating on him. He was a good guy that loved her and didn't deserve her. Weak story line and characters.

The GRIP that these books have on me is sort of embarrassing, to be honest. I have also now read the Forbidden Love series that sequels these, I cannot get enough of this family/friend group.

1,594 Pages That Will Consume Your Life
There is not enough I can say about this book. I was hooked from Page 1 of Lex and Charlie’s story and it just kept going from there. When I began each book in the series I told myself “it can’t possibly bear the last couple’s story” but I was completely wrong. I was wrapped up in each book from beginning to end until the very last page. You will feel every emotion possible…laughter, tears, hope, despair, and at the core of it all is love. I recommend this box set to anyone that isn’t willing to put this book down at 3am when they know they should and anyone who is in love with love….love of friends, love of those you choose as family, and the love of that person who completes the other half of you. This is a winner!! I will issue no spoilers because it deserves to be read for itself. Thank you Kat T. Masen. One very long book and I am an eternal fan. On to the next series!!

Book 1
Charlotte and Lex fell in love hard but he wasn’t available and broke her heart and his own in the process. So many people were hurt by what they both did. Years later they bump into each other. He is no longer the boy he once was and will stop at nothing to have her. Now the shoe is on the other foot and she is not available. Her head says one thing but her heart says another!!
Ok so warning there is cheating which isn’t ideal but it’s fictional and I can kinda get over it. However to repeat the situation is just stupid and especially how she acts with Julian! So that annoyed me! Lex was supposed to be all alpha but I didn’t really get that. Not my fav!
Book 2
More from Charlotte and Lex. More if the same tbh. And the reveal from their relationship I saw coming but not with his sister. Not a fan of this couple but as I have invested I will read on.
Book 3
Julian is trying to get over Charlotte and we see more sadness from his past. He has lost his way and joins a self help group where he realises Adrianna is also a part of. They build a friendship but because of his past with her sister in law and her brother it’s all a bit messy
Ok so I didn’t really get a vibe that Julian was a bit of a creeper in the previous books and I’m not convinced the author didn’t make him like this so Charlotte would be justified for how she treated him in the previous books. Anyhow, I did like the second chance for him to redeem himself but I feel like it started quite slow only to basically all happen in the last few chapters. I might have blinked and missed it!

Amazing Writing, Fantastic Characters, Awesome Story Telling
It would be hard to write everything I feel about these stories without "spoilers" but I felt compelled to leave a review. If for no other reason than to report how great the writing is & to say the sexual acts, descriptions, innuendos & everything involved in the bedroom....was AMAZING. These characters will read as people you know personally, or people you want to know, or simply characters you will love & look forward to seeing how their story unfolds & end. Just great family & friend dynamics that will keep you in this series. My only hiccup would be that I could have stopped at the 5th story & been good. Kate & Noah, book 6, were not my favorite, but an okay story. Lex is my GUY & you should read this just to get to fantasize about him. Enjoy this.... I sure did!

great romance series
You get a little different romance style in each book which is nice! There’s an overall similarity in some of the mannerisms of characters but that didn’t make me like the books any less. I felt like some of the events, characters, or relationships escalated rather quickly but again, still liked the books.
Chasing Love:
I found the age gap to be a little much, a high schooler and 25 year old was a little iffy. I however enjoyed Charlie and Alex as adults.
Chasing us: continuation of Charlie and Lex
Chasing her: Julian stalking? A little much. But once that part was over, I liked the rest of the plot.
Chasing him: continuation of Julian and Adrianna
Chasing Fate: Noah and Kate… Morgan sucks
Chasing Heartbreak: yay for Kate, finally!

Loved this series!
All the characters were written really well. The various relationships between the different characters were also well written and interesting. My favorite couple were Noah and Kate. Their story although complex and complicated seemed more reflective of real life! Because sometimes life happens and we get in our own way but if we're lucky enough or blessed enough to get a second chance at love, we've learned to appreciate it even more! Kudos to the author, Kat Masen, love your work! Great story!

This was a awesome read .warning 2 story have a CPL kleenexes with you and first part of 4. That story line would make anyone sad or cry . Cassie and lex won't lie first book really made me mad. And how she strung her fiance on . 1 time but 2. I like them after that hurdle. Eric oh he was hilarious. There were a lot of struggles obstacles fights happy sad family . I think that why I liked this is had all of mixture of real life .

Awesome series
I enjoyed this series. I had the original books(with 4 stories) for a few years but never read them. I’m glad I did now.
From Lex and Charlie story to Julian and Adriana story to Noah and Kate story it all tied in together.
They each had a past to overcome and each and everyone did. They are now all one big happy family.
Knowing that there is now a spin-off with the kids I’m excited to read them too.

I saw a post of Kat that said she was re doing this series and after seeing the blurb I was hooketh. Now I haven’t read the original so I can not do a comparison. I wanted a series I could sink my teeth into. These books go from strength to strength. It’s such a great world she has created. You won’t regret reading this series.

While I enjoyed this series alot, I think Lex & Charlie had the ultimate in toxic relationships. I feel Charlie should have come clean to Julian in the very beginning. I truly felt he deserved better. In the end everyone had their happy ever after it just took years to get there.

Obsessed!
This series is absolutely amazing! I cried, laughed and ached with the characters. I felt it all. I have to say, that I NEED Eric in my life. I absolutely adore him. Thank goodness for his character or else I would have only cried. I am sad that the story ends. I will actually miss all of them. Well, I’m on to the next generation.

Binge Reading at its Finest
Wow, I seriously could not put my kindle down for this series. Each characters story line was continued in every book, which is not always an easy task for writers to accomplish. I even laughed at all the times the writer poked fun of us readers any time romance novels were discussed.
Wow, I seriously could not put my kindle down for this series. Each characters story line was continued in every book, which is not always an easy task for writers to accomplish. I even laughed at all the times the writer poked fun of us readers any time romance novels were discussed.

The Dark Love Box Set
Okay the box set is the way to go. Love all the characters and the fact they all have flaws. Love how long the book set was, nothing was written quickly/rushed. Kate’s story did stump me, without giving away anything! Recommend this set. Loved it 100%. Could not put down

Amazing Adventure
The Dark Love Box Set was phenomenal! I couldn’t put it down and my family was quite annoyed.. I had gotten quite annoyed throughout Noah’s story believing Noah and Kate should’ve been together! I definitely didn’t like Morgan’s character for Noah. Thinking the whole time that she was hiding something big!

Dark Love
So I enjoyed these books, but I wouldn’t say it’s a dark romance. Yes every couple went through some crazy tragic story, but when I think dark love I think dark in the bedroom. Could have had a little more spice. My favorite couple I will say is of course Lex and Charlie, the ones who started this series. They have a love like no one else.

Brilliant!
Wow, loved every minute of reading these books. Emotional rollercoaster but such an amazing read. I tend to get a bit bored when reading about other characters in the books as they never seem as interesting as the main two but wow, all was fab reads. Definitely recommend.

Best read ever
I have been saving this box set for my holiday and it has kept me entertained. I love Kat’s writing style and the books are always so well written with lots of funny moments and other moments. I cannot wait for her next book. I have read all of them now so I need another fix. Get reading, you will not be disappointed.

Good set
So the first book was too jumpy for me. I dislike when many books and movies constantly jump from present to past. It's too hard to keep up with what is going on. After you get over all the Charlotte and Alex past to finally get to Charlie and Lex the series gets away better. I liked how Julian was brought in again. I enjoyed Kate finally getting with Noah. That book was definitely my worst one to read. I was mad at Noah for choosing Morgan over Kate and their friendship ending. i was did excited about Eric and Tristan. I did enjoy all the other talk in the books about the different places everyone went to, and work, and feelings. It wasn't just all sex! Good stories! Can't wait to read the forbidden love series with the next generation.

A pleasant surprise.
What a wonderful series. More believable than others I have read. Each character is relatable and you get wrapped up in their lives. I laughed cried and got frustrated at their antics. Thoroughly enjoyed this series and looking forward to the next generation.

Contemporary romance. Was pretty good but did not enjoy the cheating aspect or the female main characters reluctance to decide between her two lovers. However I did enjoy the story enough to read all of them so that’s says something.
