Suds and Sam #7

Suds and Sam Plus One

Rate this book
What do a pee stick, a surrogate mom, and a hitman have in common?

LOL! You'll have to download this hilarious new adventure to find out.

Our friend, trying to be helpful, throws Suds and Sam a cushy case. It's easy-squeezy right up to the point she's taken by international baby brokers.

Of course, if you ask her, none of this is her fault.

In a mess of confusion, Sam's mobster uncle hires Frankie to shoot me. If he misses, her cousins might do the job or my police chief father-in-law, or possibly, the blue-haired salon ladies.

God help me.

Haven't read any of the series yet? No worries. Jump right in, the water is warm, especially in the Bahamas.

Note: Heated scenes of a married couple madly in love.

Amazon Best Seller Stella Marie Alden loves Zumba, yoga, watercolor painting, and all genres of romances.

Her first book, ‘How to Train Your Knight’, won Romance Writers of America coveted Molly and Show me the Sparks Contests, and placed in four others.
Truly remarkable, considering she’s only been writing for three years.

Growing up in Vermont, she loved to make up stories. Crayons fought each other over size and placement in their cardboard box and imaginary friends crowded the house. Her brother often complained. “Tell her no one’s here, Mother.".

Her career paths have varied. She’s been a librarian, a classical clarinetist wanna-be, recording studio engineer, broadcast electronics repairman, and now she architects software programs.

She lives in Bergen County, NJ with her life-long hero and their two cats. Her two girls are grown but ever supportive. You go Mom!

The saga continues. There are some situations in the book that you can’t help but laugh. Sam always seems to get herself in trouble without doing anything! It was funny when she thought she might be pregnant but was putting off checking. The two get a case from a rich couple where the couple’s surrogate says she is keeping the baby. The woman knows her friend is in trouble and wants Sam and Suds to find an help her. It becomes close to Sam and Suds heart since they are expecting now. Of course things don’t go well! I encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.

A plus one for this dynamic duo

Another Sud’s and Sam Mystery

When a couple agree for the wife’s best friend to carry there child, what turns out to be a surrogacy for a couple, who struggle to carry there own, it should have been simple, yet straightforward, however the wife is remiss that something else is afoot and puts Sam on the case.

With Sud’s working away, his sixth sense picks up that something is about to go down at home, when his current assignment finishes he heads home to his woman, only he is greeted with a surprise of his own, Sam is pregnant and expecting there child.

When they decide to investigate further, at the behest of there clients for there missing surrogate, what should be straightforward investigating, turns into something more, and when Sam gets kidnapped, what else could go wrong.

With Sud’s and his Patten Security brothers on the case, they find that there are those out there that lay claim to the weak and vulnerable, exploiting to make a profit by selling babies on the black market. From the minute Sam is taken they follow in her wake, tracing her every footstep, but it isn’t without its challenges, and when Sud’s finally has Sam back in his arms, and the surrogate mum back safe and sound, and those responsible apprehended, all’s right in the world.

And then we time jump to that all important moment when Sam gives birth to her and Sud’s son Michael, and in that moment Sud’s love for his wife and son knows no bounds. And then we time jump again to a momentous occasion where Sam and Sud’s son is christened before family and friends, and the joyous moment celebrated by all.

And through it all we get to experience the ups and down, the thrills, the fun, the excitement, the danger, the suspense, the tension, the anxiety, the action, the humour, the witty banter, diving head long into danger with Sud’s doing everything to still protect Sam aka his danger magnet.

In between all the madness and mayhem dealing with Sam’s meddlesome family, and the mess her cousin Joey has gotten himself, and with support from his Patten Security brother’s, who ensure Sud’s keeps his wits about him. This circle of family and friends is so close and tight nit nothing could break them apart.

This author clearly knows how to hook and ensnare her readers to ensure they come back for more, me I’ll definitely come back for more from this author for sure! A very well written story, covering various and intense themes, the different points of view told a telling story, all connected very well.

As a married couple, there attraction still undeniable as ever, there were definitely moments that will make you laugh, cry, bang your head against the wall and say WTF, the reader will totally immerse themselves, to get lost in the entirety of the story, gasping for breath long after the story has finished.

And those s€x scenes in and out of the bedroom were daring, the language and dirty talk was filthy, provocative, possessive, emotional, fun, flirty, intense, controlling, oh so steamy, deliciously wicked, dirty, hot, beautiful, naughty, powerful, passionate, wet, dominating and wild.

This is the latest book in the Suds and Sam book and I loved it!

I’ve been dying to see both Suds and Sam find out, experience and become parents and boy did this go beyond my expectations!

The adventurous pair find out they’re expecting their own little babe as they are given an assignment by a wealthy couple to find a run away Surrogate Mother (SM) whilst finding out who stole cousin Joey’s parcel en route to its destination. The SM case takes them to the Bahamas but when they’re just starting their investigation, Sam is taken from the middle of their stronghold. As you can imagine, Suds is a mess looking for his honey-pie and unborn child.
Sam is taken to a hidden island where it holds dangerous secrets.

Suds is the protective partner any girl wishes for and he won’t stop until he gets his sugar home and safe.

The ending of the book is perfect and give me everything I need to swoon over them both!

Will he save Sam and baby in time?
Will they solve the case?
Will we see more??

ENJOY!!

Danger magnet plus one rides to the rescue again
Suds and Sam Plus One by Stella Marie Alden is another golden nugget of diabolical fun. These two continue to make this reader laugh out loud and I just gobble up their stories. This part of their HEA is super sweet and steamy hot along with plenty of suspense to keep your pulse pounding. These characters are beyond wonderful and going to make a beautiful family without a dull moment.
The plot, beyond the plus sign, is intriguing and right up Sam’s alley. Suds has her back even though they get separated while Sam’s family pull out all the full Italian-Brooklyn stops.
Overall, this wonderful Suds and Sam segment of their love story is spot on sweet with their signature steam with the added bonus of their own little bundle of joy. No doubt Suds has his hands overflowing now. I just picture him saying to any and all “Bring it. I got this and them.”
I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.

This book is phenomenal and I absolutely loved it! Suds and Sam are at it again and as usual, Sam ends up in danger. This time, there is more at stake as she finds out she’s pregnant. Things are going well until Joey gets himself in trouble and they take a case that will send them to the Bahamas where all you know what breaks loose! Sam finds herself kidnapped and taken to a resort where she finds the object of her investigation, a woman who is a surrogate for Sam’s wealthy clients. Suds will have to ride in and save the day and it will happen in pure Suds and Sam fashion. They will manage to save Gillian, the surrogate and blow the whistle on the whole operation. Returning home is crazy as they now need a new place to live. In the end, they find a new home and are ready when their little bundle of joy makes his arrival.

I read an ARC copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.

I cannot believe how something that seems so innocent always turns into something life threatening when Sam gets involved.

I mean the case of the uncooperative surrogate was sent to her by her father. How much safer could it be?

Not that Suds is any further out of trouble as the story begins. When danger is your job or you are just a danger magnet, how can you possibly stay safe?

Having an amazing support system in a crazy host of supporting characters that literally swoop in to help save the day made the end of the story come even more alive.
Not that having to explain shopping for pregnancy tests to a salon full of women isn't it's own adventure.

I adore the passion Suds and Sam bring to their relationship. Honeymoon is definitely not over.

I received an advanced copy of this story and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Another great read from Stella Marie. Suds and Sam are up to their usual amusing tricks. Somehow Sam always ends up in trouble, she never takes risks but trouble always finds her!
Suds in on a security detail in Los Angeles with six year old Stacy when he's involved in a car chase, Stacy thinks it's great fun and wants him to do it again!
Back at home, Sam thinks she might be pregnant, can she keep it a secret? Then cousin Joey is in trouble, what a surprise, but an easy case comes along, a couple have used her best friend as a surrogate and now she won't carry on with the contract, easy to sort eh? Well this is Sam we're talking about here!

Another great, funny read about Suds and Sam, or is it Sam and Suds!

⭐️ Suds and Sam Are At It Again! ⭐️

I love this series and was excited to receive an ARC of this book. It definitely didn’t disappoint! Their latest case is for a wealthy couple who are looking to find their runaway surrogate mother. In addition, Sam’s cousin, Joey, asks for her help when he gets himself into a situation doing a side job.
As usual, Sam finds herself in trouble without intending to (hence the nickname Danger Magnet) leaving Suds to rescue her while keeping her family out of the way.
Suds and Sam are such a fun-loving, unique couple. This book has it all - suspense, excitement, Whitt banter, and many laugh-out-loud moments. I highly recommend this book, as well as the rest of the series!

I absolutely adore Suds & Sam! When I received this ARC, I felt obligated to catch up on their story. I fell in love during the first book of their story, and was absolutely glued to my Kindle reading! Bless her heart, Sam “Danger Magnet” Sutcliff, just attracts trouble no matter what. Her analyst brain, sweet nature and Brooklyn attitude are polar opposites of Suds’s tough guy, ex-SEAL, Southern drawl, but WOW! They were made for each other! Only Sam could find herself in the middle of an international incident, by simply taking a pre-baby island vacation with her sexy hubby, to do a little recon for a case they are working. This is a must read series, and I hope to see more very soon, so I can follow more of Suds & Sam’s cases and life together.

Endearing and witty, Suds and Sam are up to their same old hijinks, with their quirky behavior and irreverence. Suds is on the job, chauffeuring the adorable 6-year-old daughter of a Russian arms dealer's home, when a car pulls up beside him, the window opens and he's staring down the barrel of a rocket launcher. Evasive action throws the SUV into a spin, he loses the Mercedes and speeds through the crash site. Seriously, the first chapter had me laughing so loud I was crying. Then there's Sam, sneaking around the drug store, trying to buy a pregnancy test (or two). Sam has procrastinated for weeks, but now she has to face the possibility that she just might be the "P" word! There is more wit in this story than usual and the characters are even more endearing!

Suds and Sam always bring a book to life. Suds is happy with his life so far. Sam hasn't been getting into any trouble and the jobs she's acquired haven't put her in any danger. Sam begins to feel different and decides to take a pregnancy test. She isn't expecting to be pregnant when things are so hard with money. When Suds' boss hands Sam a case to investigate things don't seem risky. She doesn't want to take the case but agrees since they need the money. As she begins to investigate the case things get a little dangerous until Sam is kidnapped by baby traffickers. What is Suds going to have to do in order to get his pregnant wife back in one complete piece? I received a free copy of this book from the author and reviewed voluntarily.

Another brilliant episode in the life of Sam and Suds- as always the love these two share comes over clearly, and there are lots of hot and steamy moments. Sam has promised Suds she will stay out of trouble, and is doing her best to do so - she also is beginning to suspect she is pregnant, so decides a job trying to find the missing surrogate of a wealthy couple, along with a favour for a family member, would bring in money without the risk. As Suds nickname for Sam is Danger Magnet, there isn’t a lot of hope that will be the case. Whilst trying to find the surrogate Sam is kidnapped, and Suds calls in reinforcements to find her and get her back safely. I highly recommend this book, and look forward to
reading more about them in the future.

Another awesome read in the Suds and Sam series. The couple are hired to find the Surrogate Mother of a wealthy couple. This assignment leads them to the Bahamas. Nothing is ever easy for these two as Sam aka Danger Magnet finds trouble wherever she goes. This time included. Suds is especially frantic as now it’s not only Sam but their unborn child as well. As usual there are the lol moments when Sam’s family are involved and the swoon worthy moments when Suds is frantically trying to keep Sam out of danger. A great epilogue where we get to see characters from past books make an appearance. I was given a copy in advance in exchange for an honest review.

Suds and Sam are at it again. This time, their case involved a wealthy couple and their surrogate who seemed to have changed her mind as to giving up the baby she is carrying for the couple. With Sam's tendency to attract danger coupled with her being pregnant has Suds worrying and being doubly protected of her. Follow their adventure as they "vacation" in the Bahamas following a lead in their case. Suspenseful, funny, and exciting, this story had my attention from the beginning. I love Suds and Sam together and I am looking forward to what they are going to do next.

I always enjoy a good mystery with Suds and Sam and we get two in this one. Sam's cousin Joey gets into trouble doing some work on the side and a client need Suds & Sam to find out what is going on with the surrogate they are using to have a baby. As usual Sam blunders into danger and somehow manages to come out unscathed and Suds must try and rescue her and keep her family at bay. Funny and enjoyable but I could not live with Sam, she causes too much trouble.

Excellent addition to the series! Suds and Sam are the perfect couple! These books have mystery, action, fun and humor. In this one, they take on a case of a couple who are having a baby through a surrogate mother. When she changes her mind, something about the situation is off. While investigating this case, Sam also helps her cousin Joey with a situation and also learns that she is pregnant. Our favorite Danger Magnet strikes again and Suds must come to the rescue. A fun read and great story!

Poor Suds....

I have loved this series from the very beginning, but would have to say that this is my favorite of them all!! Danger magnet Sam is at her finest, she never dissapoints!!! Poor Suds, needs to save his newly pregnant wife when they are on "vacation " trying to find the surrogate mother for their latest case. Its a good thing Suds has the patten security team to help him once again.
You can never go wrong with with any book or series from Stella Marie Alden, and this one is no exception, I highly recommend this series!!

Danger Magnet, that's what Sam is and Suds doesn't catch a break, but he's learning as he goes with Sam's family, starting texting trees, using her contacts and hiring family. Totally hilarious journey in this next edition of the series. You get laughs, "no even Italians, has ever died by wet hair". We get all the Patton guys in on this one as the danger ramps from 1-100 in a second. Always a pleasure to read any of Ms. Alden's books. Definitely recommend.

This couple always has me in stitches, just love them. Suds and Sam this time find themselves embroiled in a Baby for Sale surrogate scandal, Sam finds herself expecting and ends up kidnapped. I love the way this couple run their relationship, it’s sexy, passionate, hot but sensible when necessary. Great story and fantastic characters. The baddies get their comeuppance but not before Suds and Sam find themselves in danger. Fantastic epilogue.

I was fortunate to receive an ARC from the Author and this is my review.

Suds and Sam are at it again and this time there is a new addition! Suds was great in this one, being the overprotective new daddy. I love his connection with Sam and his dedication. I thought the story was really fun and interesting. Sometimes it got bogged down a little with the family drama but otherwise it was fun and fast paced. I read it in an afternoon. I liked that the other guys from Patten Security were in this one quite a bit, especially Lucky. I thought the story line was unique and the whole book was entertaining. Suds and Sam are always a favorite and a good read!

Yeah for Stella Marie Alden!

Yes! Suds and Sam ride and again, and procreate!
I'm have so missed them, they are truly a hysterical delight one needs a weekly dose of...I would love daily, but hey, I can be reasonable!
This one was just as hysterical as when Sam was kidnapped to Dubai to be sold!
The woman has no fear, and danger magnet is absolutely the best CODE name!
I loved every minute, right to Father stepping into the courtyard on them!
Again, another Suds and Sam, of which there is no such thing as too much!
Loved every moment!

This is Book 9 in the Suds and Sam Series by this author. It is the next installment to the fun, sweet romance between Suds and Sam. Their latest case has enough drama, humor, frustrating moments, sweetness, some twists and engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. A page turner with a happy ending. Another great addition to the series. It can be read as a standalone but you enhance your reading pleasure if you read the other book in the series.

Poor Sam! Danger finds her even when she is being as careful as possible. This case involves a surrogate who decides late in the pregnancy to keep the baby. The detectives are hired to find out why. Then there's the little complication with Joey. And Sam finds out she's pregnant! Good news? Great story and the usual chaos of Sam's nosy, interfering family. Love this duo and hope this series goes on from here. With a baby there are so many opportunities for hilarious situations. You gotta read these books!!

Suds and Sam are at it again and Suds has even more to worry about now because SURPRISE, Sam’s pregnant! Between Sam’s propensity to attract danger ( there is a good reason she is known as Danger Magnet) and Sam’s family this is another hilarious read. Stella does a tremendous job of creating a fast paced story that you can’t help but become immersed in until the end. I can’t wait to see how Suds and Sam handle becoming parents on top of their already hilarious life.

OMG! I absolutely love Suds, Sam & Sam’s family. The “danger magnet” activated again. Sam doesn’t want to know if she is pregnant, Suds is out of town but, his “spider senses “ start tingling, Sam’s cousin pulls her in on a safe case and the case she starts working on puts her and the baby in danger...then her family really gets involved, especially Uncle Vinnie! I laughed hard at some parts and was constantly rooting for Suds. Hilarious but well rounded out read! Have a great read and get it.

Hurrah, Suds and Sam are back. Oh how I have missed this couple and all their crazy antics whilst solving a crime. To add to my joy, they are dealing with my favourite subject...babies. Now Sam is pregnant and solving a case dealing with pregnant women...of course, and travelling to exotic locations.
Loved all the banter, the danger, the plot...everything. Great to read about the family again, the gossip, the threats which are the norm and their cute crazy cat Catrina. Hope there is more of them in the future

This series is one of my favorites and this addition (no pun intended!) doesn't disappoint! Suds and Sam have such a unique relationship, he totally gets her, but is also completely in touch with his emotional side. I loved the circle back to Jack, Slate and Lucky. Suds and Sam is at it again. Sam takes a pregnancy test and finds it positive. Now worrying if Suds will be upset with her. She has a case of a surrogate mother now backing out which happens to be her best friend. While Sam does her investigation and Suds follows up with it, he starts thinking there is a case. Not imagining Sam would get caught in, Sam now is on a secluded island with Suds on her trail. Saving Sam, Gillian and the other women.

Suds and Sam are back at it again! I was so excited to see this story come out because they are just so much fun!

The way that Sam seems to attract trouble is amazing. This time they are one the case of a surrogate, which is perfect since they are expecting their own little bundle. There is a perfect infusion of humour into the action that makes this a book I could not put down.
