Wish I'd listened to this sooner as it comes from a specific time in lockdown 3 (March 2021) where vaccines seems to be the hope, and this comes across so strongly and made me a bit sad that possibly that's not how Things are now playing out for us.

That aside, this is hugely interesting, entertaining listening. Sandi Toksvig talking to Sheila Hancock was a really strong, heartwarming opening episode; but I especially loved London Hughes talking to Estelle - the energy, the verve, the drive and excitement of their lives was contageous. I really appreciated the intersectional content, giving experience of womanhood from so many perspectives.

All the conversations convey enormous admiration, respect, sisterhood and solidarity, and to hear intelligent people debating what's needed for women's continued advancement and what their hopes are for women in the 2020s was simply inspirational. Lolly Adefope and Sarah Pascoe were also a strong duo, though while I'm picking out favourite chapters the whole thing was inspirational and hopeful. Which we need right now!

Broad discussions of how the Covid lockdown 2020 has affected lives.
All the episodes were fun and interesting but as per usual, Deborah Francis-White was a stand out joy.

One to one interviews with some really excellent women talking about what its like to be a woman in this era of me too as well topics such as parenting, racism and homophobia. Really enjoyed this and would listen to more.
