I wanted to rate this higher but.....
I just can't. The plot is fine. That isn't the problem, it jist seemed as if the author had a whole lot of ideas that didn't really mesh. Lots of ideas were introduced but didn't play a major role in the book. Coupled with the grammatical errors and malapropisms, made this a cringe-inducing read for me.

This was a cute short💕
Queen Bree gave us something short, sweet with just enough drama, cause what's a love story without the obstacles, lbvvs.
Nate was a grade A prick, who for the most part only cared about his wants and needs. Granted he loved his daughter Venus, but didn't realize until he met Kris that he was repeating the same neglectful parent cycle as his mom.
Kris came in and read him with no regards, he had no choice but to his her as his daughters Nanny.
What started out as a lie to gain the approval of his grandparents and to also keep his noisy cousin and gold digging baby momma at bay. These two fell and they feel hard for each other. Between his disrespectful bm and overbearing mother throwing their weight around, and a jump off who forgot what her role was, Nate didn't know what to do at first, lol.
Justin and Jalisa was just trifling and deserved each other. Like who leaves their BDE for his cousin and then marry him but neglect your child for worst toy thought would be more money and a better life🙄. If gold digging hoe was a person, it's be Jalisa😂.
Kris was amazing from start to finish, and although her bd was around he was nonexistent when it came to their daughter Chas. Now I thought she was crazy for living with him and his gf but, once things were explained I understood. Kris played no games about her daughter and she didn't take no disrespect. I was glad she left him after he talked crazy to her and insulted her character.
That man ain't no if he was coming on going but, his grandparents check him quick and he admitted he was in love and needed to get Kris and Chas back. I was thankful his mom got her ish together and apologized to him and Kris.
His bestie Isaiah and her sister Cherry were the truth. They held no punches when it came to the tough love. Them two were crazy about each other and I'm glad she was able to find her HEA with Isaiah.
In the end Nate got the company and gained a family and love in the process. I would love, love, love an update on this couple🤞🏽🙏🏽.

This was good, a great story of opposites attract and falling in love with someone you at least expect. Quick lovely read. I enjoyed getting to know Kris and Nate.
I loved Kris' drive and how hard she went for her and her daughter, Chastity. I really loved the relationship and bond she had with her sister, Cherry, as well.
Nate was a determined Alpha male, yet he met his match in Kris. His daughter Venus was my first indicator that this thing with Kris would not only be great, but that it would be the best for both his daughter and hers. I loathed the way his mother was, yet I'm glad she came to her senses. His ex, Jalisa and cousin Justin were trash. I kind of want a story on his cousin Jessica. Loved his best friend Isiah and how quickly he scooped up Kris' sister and fell for her and her kids.
This was a really good read and I plan to read more from this author. Highly recommend.

Power of love and support....
This is another first for me and I enjoyed it from start to finish. Nate had to have a reality check and Kris made sure she delivered it. They both deserved unconditional love after ALL they went through in their past. I was glad that Kris supported Nate so he could experience and grow from it. I was also happy that Cherry and Isiah made such a strong connection so quick. Cherry needed a true father figure for her kids. Isiah showered Cherry with all the loving and attention she yearned for.
This is a magnificent read. I most definitely recommend it. Download, relax, and enjoy. Ms
Bree feel free to write a novella on Nate and Kris engagement and wedding. I would love to read more from them.

Opposites Attract
Nate hires Kris to be a nanny for his daughter and it definitely wasn't love at first sight. Nate and Kris end up making a deal to pretend that they are a couple so that Nate can convince his grandparents that he is the right person to become head of the family company. What starts out as a pretense becomes a reality. Nate got on my nerves in the beginning but as he learned to love, he became a better man. I loved the way that Kris had goals and was determined to reach them. I also loved her feistiness and the way she didn't let people talk to her any kind of way no matter who they were. The 2 daughters were precious and their relationship was delightful. All in all, this book was very enjoyable and it won't be last book that I read by this author.

Whew! Nate was such an asshole, that he got on my last nerve! I get working hard, but, the same issues you have with your mother; are the same things you are currently doing with your own child!
It took Kris to enter his life with her sass, and no nonsense attitude to teach him a thing or two! Although things started off as an agreement, their chemistry was hot! Awesome love story. Nathaniel wanted to take over his grandfather’s company upon his retirement. Nathaniel’s grandparents wanted to make sure that he knew how to balance work and personal life. Kris started working for Nathaniel as Venus nanny. Kris and Nate decided to date to show his grandparents he knows how to balance work and personal life. Nate offered to pay Kris money after he became CEO of the company. Kris and Nate began to gain feelings for one another during this time. Kris had a daughter name Chas, her and Venus adored one another. After Nate became CEO, he said some nasty things to Kris she walked out his life. This was an awesome read.

Kris is the typical black women, too proud to ask for help even when her back is against the wall. Kris brings so much to table, and Nate realizes that he can’t be without her or Chas. Great to see Nate get a backbone and found his voice. You have to be able to balance work life and home life.

Fun Read
I love “Kris with a K” I really wasn’t feeling Nate at first. I was so put out with him I almost decided I didn’t want to finish the book So glad I changed my mind. Nate was a very conflicted person who allowed past hurts cause him to be callous and hurtful toward their people. Ms. Kris changed all of that. I fell in love with Cherry and Isaiah as well. ☺️ Again I’d like to say this was an enjoyable read

Not a bad read at all!
In Exchange For Love was a quick, funny read. This book was a fall in love with the nanny book with a little twist. This was very different from the average nanny story in that these two couldn’t stand each other when they met and it wasn’t love at first sight. That’s what I really liked about this story. It was funny, Kris was a whole trip and although somewhat stuffy at first, Nate was a whole mess. And that Justin and Jalisa?! Just crazy!

Love Can Definitely Change You
Book was a good pace and decent flow. Love story was beautiful and believable. So glad to see when single parents can come together and love the other’s child unconditionally. I also like when an adult child can comfort their parent about hurt. This book teaches a great lesson…work life balance is possible.

Great story
Nathaniel was a hot mess. I hated how Nate wasn't there for his child the way he should have been at first. Kris was a whole vibe I loved her energy and how she made sure those little girls knew they had crowns. Venus loved her. Nate and Kris story was beautiful I need to know if they ever get married?. All together this was a great story!!!

Superb💖
The first chapter or so almost lost my interest, but when it picked up I finished it in one sitting. They were cute together; teaching and showing each other what trust and love really felt like. So glad the H and h got their mess together and supported each other on the end!💘

Great love story
Wow I found this book as an Amazon recommendation. The book definitely lived up to the stars other readers have it. Kris with a K didn't come to play. She was strong,encouraging, take no B.S. from nobody momma. This was a great and quick love story. I'm glad she got her much deserved HEA.

This wasn’t a bad story, but I have read so many stories with the plot of the couple who doesn’t like each other get married for some type of service (money, promotion etc) and it all comes out yada yada yada. I find it boring and predictable. We all know they are going to fall in love and stay together.

Great Read!!!
I loved Kris and Nates storyline. I’m glad they found each other bc he started off as a jerk and ended up being my book bae. I’m also glad that Cherry and Isiah ended up being together too. This was a great read and I’m glad everybody got their happy ending.

Kris with a K was time enough for Nate. Nate is not used to anyone questioning him at all. But when a need arises and he needs help, Kris is there to help him get through it.
Justin is trash for what he represents, one who always tries to one up the next person. Everyone needs an Isiah as a best friend to keep you on the right path. What started as an arrangement quickly became the best blessing for Kris and Nate.

I like that this book featured 2 strong people and that the girl was doing a job in carpentry....like that is not a job a leading lady character does. I enjoyed seeing how Kris was herself and Nathaniel finally back away from work to really live.

LOVED IT
Nate the hero was a pain in the butt. He was so arrogant, all he cared about was work. The heroine Kris with a K 😊😊, is my Shero. She didn't take crap off of anyone. Great character development, and the editing was great. Bravo to the author 👏👏👏👏👏

I Like!
I like the concept and flow of this story. I especially like how Kris is not just a strong black woman, but she’s loving and compassionate and understanding! But she is definitely strong! This is my first book by this author but I look forward to reading more of her work!

Great Read
This was a great read because it was sexy,romantic,and a page turner. It made me care about what happened to the characters. Iit was well written and other than a few grammatical errors it is a must read. Urban fiction/ black love at it’s best. Kudos to the author.

I really liked this book. It was entertaining and full of love, laughs, and lusts. There were some parts that had name errors, and I felt like it could have been more added. But, overall, it was a good story.

This book everything and had me glued to my Kindle. I love Kris and how she didn't take any mess. I was happy to see that Mate realize that work is not everything. I thought the ending was perfect.
