E.S. McMillan is a self-proclaimed Superhero. She is a mom to 4 amazing boys. Married to one of her best friends and has plans to take the world by storm.
E.S. was born in California, raised in New York, and now resides in Connecticut.
E.S. is a lover of the written word and cannot remember a time when there was not a book in her hand or an open notebook waiting to be filled with her stories.
I am a fan of McMillan's storytelling, so when I was asked to read and review this co-written story, I was ready to give it a try. The cover was very pretty and the blurb set the stage for some intrigue and conflict. The book jumped right into things. There was plenty of mystery and darkness from the start. So many questions needed answering. At times it felt like the conversations and scenes were a bit repetitive, and other parts felt a bit rushed, but there was also some good build-up for the coming storm. I really wanted the story to be less hurried and more developed. The ending left me wondering about what will happen next. This series definitely has potential and I hope that things will slow down and be a bit more pieced-together in any future books.
This story picks up where Before The Two left off and it is phenomenal. The story has a great build up, is full of twists, turns and mystery that keep you on the edge of your seat.
Tabitha and Zoey's life is changing and they are confused. Secrets are being revealed, strange things are happening and they are losing control. Their parents step in to try and help and explain who they are.
This book is a departure from what ES McMillan usually writes, and honestly, I couldn’t put it down. I won’t spoil the twists, but trust me…you want to read it. I don’t even have the words.
