Not all squirrels round up acorns for the winter... Nut Free Squirrel tells the story of a little critter whose food allergy prevents him from enjoying the finer things of the forest. Determined to find something he can feast on, he ventures out of the woods and quickly discovers that there are so many other great foods out in the world, including ice cream! Written to match the melody of Billy Joel’s “Uptown Girl,” Nut Free Squirrel uses humor and song to teach children about food allergies and the power of positivity. It’s the perfect book for fans of Cocomelon and Sandra Boynton, and it will make bedtime a blast for you and your child! Nut Free Squirrel: A Funny Bedtime Book You Can Sing to the Melody of "Uptown Girl" (Animal Sing-Along) by Matthew Sullivan – This is on kindle unlimited. I loved the premise of a book that you could sing to a pop song, but if you have a kid with a nut allergy I don’t think this would be a helpful/supportive story. It was cute though! Happy Reading!
Very cute idea! I'm not sure if kids will get the humor as much as adults will. Might work better for kids with songs they're more likely to know - but I did enjoy it :)
It introduces children to food allergies but in a fun and unique way. It is a story, but you can also sing it in the tune of the song Uptown Girl. I will admit I read it, then went back and read it with the song in my head and it does work and is very fun.
Its an hilarious little tale and I think children and adults alike will have laughs with this one.
