Goldmitten is a great antidote to the blues and the blahs that so many are experiencing now. It is a delightful and often hilarious read for fans of animals or cozy mysteries. Cat lovers will especially appreciate some of Theodore Von Pumpernickle's humorous antics as normal life distracts him from the dangers of his role as a member of PIA, Pet Intelligence Agency, an organization that takes advantage of the special talents of pets especially their ability to go places with little or no notice. Theodore may be easily distracted at times and he definitely does not love all of the demands of the job but he still manages to get that job done! With the most famous secret agent of book and screen as his mentor, and maybe imaginary friend, Theodore is working towards his double -0-9 designation. The shocking return of an archnemesis challenges his knowledge and courage but this mixed-Himalayan is ready to protect the world and especially Cat Mother from the nefarious machinations of that evil-doer, Goldmitten. Have a blast enjoying Theodore Hospitality Von Pumpernickle face newbie operators, grumpy neighbors, vacuum cleaners and the inimitable Goldmitten who may look vaguely familiar.

I found Goldmitten very sharp and funny not funny, funny but excited funny. I love Theodore Von Pumpernickle a sweet cat a very intelligent spy. A protector of his mom Annie and the town.
