Noah Soames needed to get married, only there was one small problem – he didn’t have a suitable contender to be his wife. Until a few glasses of red wine later, and I’d volunteered for the position. He was charming, wealthy and panty-melting gorgeous, which meant that this small favour should be no problem.
Shouldn’t it?
A twelve-month deal and we’d separate as friends, nothing messy, no tangled emotions and definitely no difficult divorce settlements. I could find out if married life was better than my single, career-focused one, and see if I was really missing out, and at the same time put an end to the horrendous blind dates my friends kept setting me up on. It’s the perfect solution. Isn't it?
It should be. Until my heart gets involved, and I have to decide whether it’s time to re-negotiate the terms of our agreement. But will Noah sign on the dotted line?
Omg I loved this and completely devoured it! I have been desperate to get my hands on this since it was first announced and it did not disappoint.
Imogen is a tough, takes no nonsense lawyer, who lives for her job. She is getting fed up with the constant blind dates that her cousins and their partners are always setting her up on and she has just had enough!
Noah is a swoon worthy english gent, whose dirty talking skills are panty melting! He is just about to tie the knot with someone he clearly has no feelings for but thankfully discovers something before it's too late! The only problem now is that part of the reason he was wanting to get married was so that his favourite person, his elderly Grandfa can be of the day.
Noah and Imogen first met each other back in their school days and when their paths cross again for business, land ownership isn't the only thing on the agenda!
I love Annie's Callaghan Green series so I was beyond excited when this new Green series was announced! It was so good to catch up with my favourite Callaghan's and yes Maxwell is still having photocopier issues and yes Seph is still getting the blame!
I absolutely loved Noah and Imogen's story! Massive 5 stars from me!
The Wedding Agreement The Green Family Series Annie Dyer An arrangement- an agreement between two parties, mutually beneficial, simply a pact, a contract drawn up so there is no misunderstandings or hearts involved. When an old teenage crush turns up at lawyer Imogen Green’s office for business his fiancé is found in a compromising position, she suggests she could be the one to save his wedding, just not in the usual way. Noah thinks he needs to be responsible and get married before his beloved grandfa can’t remember it, he really isn’t too fussed on the partner bit. A fake marriage turned all to real. This is a gorgeous love story. Immy and Noah most definitely get their hea surrounded by family and friends. Beautifully written characters, stunning backdrops and a fantastic plot all tie together for one great read. The first in the new Callaghan Green spin off series, The Green Family. It has all of the characters you may know and love from the Callaghan’s, to Severton and some newbies. This book is part of a series however it can be read as a stand-alone novel with hea. I received an arc of this book. 5 stars!
The Wedding Agreement is a friends-to-lovers story with interesting characters that I absolutely enjoyed! This is the first book I read by this author so I was really excited to start this.
Noah and Imogen’s relationship was honestly so cute and I loved reading it!! From their steamy scenes to the ones where they simply enjoy being around each other was interesting to read about. I liked the way they were there for each other and their connection just kept getting stronger. They’ve known each other since way in the past and they always had something between them that just felt right.
Overall this book was an enjoyable read for me. I like the way the author wrote these characters and their story. The Wedding Agreement also introduces characters that seem very intriguing so I can’t wait to also read their stories!
When I read the blurb, I thought this was going to another Marriage For One. But Noah and Imogen are not Jack and Rose, and their storyline goes differently. It exceeded my expectation actually. I loved how their story goes. Even Lady S' character intrigued me.
Noah and Imogen used to go to the same school. Now years later, they meet again and Noah is in need to get married. After breaking up his engagement, Imogen offers herself for the role. But with a wedding agreement.
As I said, I loved how their story goes. They develop a solid friendship before they got married. However unknown to each other, they start to develop feelings for each other. I don't want to spoil the plot even though I really want to write it here. You just have to read this one!
Despite some editing issues, this was a super cute childhood friends to lovers/marriage of convenience romance. Definitely interested in reading the rest of the books in the series.
Exceeding every expectation of a favorite author, Annie Dyer captured all of my attention with Imogen and Noah. Adoring the fake relationship trope, I had expected to enjoy it but not to be completely sucked in without care for anything else, which is exactly what happened! Completely immersed in this world, I ignored the real world for theirs, I am so incredibly delighted that I did.
Stealing my heart from the very beginning with his love for his Grandfa, which is something I share, Noah brought the book boyfriend material. Introducing us to his family first, the circumstances which drove him to where he ended up are pure hearted. Imogen just wants a break from being single therefore being set up, helping out an old friend seems like a good way to get people to stop. Neither one completely thought it through, although where would be the book in that? Their relationship quickly gets real, however, the communication was difficult for them. Isn't that always the way with relationships? Finagling a future out of these two was a task, up for the job, Annie completely crushed it!
No doubt in my mind that these two belong in my harem!! Imogen and Noah are classing the place up without a doubt!
4.5 star review of The Wedding Agreement by Annie Dyer
Annie Dyer is a new author to me and I cannot understand how I have not come across her books before. From the first chapter I was drawn into the story that she wove about friends to lovers Noah and Imogen. Noah needs a wife and before she knows what she’s suggesting, Imogen volunteers, after all it only for twelve months, what’s the worst that could happen? She’s sick of being single and wonders if she is missing out on life .
Everything is fine until feelings become involved. The characters were engaging and I really liked them, both separately and together. The chemistry between them sizzles and I loved how their relationship progressed, it was heart warming and sweet. They had one another’s back and had a lot in common and it was obvious that the connection between them was strong.
I fell hard and fast for Noah, he is everything I am looking for in a book boyfriend. One click this little gem, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
One of my most favorite tropes right here! Fake relationship! I fell pretty hard for Noah, he’s got a great balance of naughty/dirty and gentlemen/domineering going on! Imogen is sweet and falls hard too. Their fake relationship turns out not so fake! ❤️ Love all the Callaghan-Green and Severton cameos sprinkled around like pixie dust. 5 stars all the way through!
Add this one to your permanent collection ladies, because you will need to read it over and over again! It’s a high society romance that breathes new life into the concept of happily ever after. While I love all of the character’s that Annie writes, Noah is a little bit of every girl’s fantasy. He is sensitive yet dominant, gentlemanly but a little bit dirty. Imogen is funny and a bit cynical about love which makes it all the sweeter when she falls hard for Noah. Imogen has given up on dating and is tired of everyone pressuring her to settle down. Noah finds himself in a bit of a situation and needs a bride to make his grandfather happy. When they reconnect over some legal issues, an arrangement seems to be just the solution that they need. However, neither of them intends for anything to last…. until it's no longer just an arrangement.
The Wedding Agreement is a standalone romcom set in the Callaghan-Green universe with few cameos from the Severton crew. I absolutely adored this entertaining fake marriage story, and found both Imogen and Noah simply delightful! Annie Dyer is a masterful storyteller and her characters become alive in my mind and I feel as if I am part of the story when reading. I stayed up all night to finish the book in one sitting. The Wedding Agreement has captivating story line, stern Lady mother with certain expectations, hero who is determined to give his Grandfa a gift he’s waited on for a long time, professional goal oriented heroine with unfortunate dating history, remarkable cast of amazing supporting characters, as well as all the elements of an epic love story, including a HEA. I definitely recommend this phenomenal book to all romcom enthusiasts!
This is book one in the new Green Family series, which is a spin-off from both the Callaghan Green and Severton Search and Rescue series. It can be read as a standalone and ends with a HEA for Noah and Imogen. It is written in first person from an alternating dual POV. I adored Noah. He is kind, handsome, hot, and intelligent. Imogen is a smart woman who wants it all but isn’t sure she can swing it with the time she spends on her career. She is interesting and kind, and I loved her. When Noah needs a bride, Imogen volunteers for the task. An agreement is drawn up and a wedding is planned. I love the development of the relationship between Noah and Imogen. I love that they knew each other at school, reunite as solicitor and client, become friends, and then so much more. There is kindle-melting heat between them. There are several super-hot scenes as they get to know each other. I stayed up way too late the first night reading and then grabbed it immediately when I got up yesterday and read until I finished. I still can’t stop thinking about these two characters. It is tough to put into words how much I loved them and their story. I can’t recommend this one enough. It seems like 5 stars is not enough. I am voluntarily leaving this honest review after receiving an advance reader copy of the book.
I am a fan of the author Callaghan Green series. Now that it has ended, the author has added another branch to the family tree and will write books for their cousins. This first book is for the cousin who works at the lawyer firm with Georgia and Seph, Imogen Green.
She is a lawyer and working with Noah Soams, who is engaged to be married. Until he isnt't. Then he has a proposal for his childhood friend and will she say yes? You will have to read this story to find out,
This story was hot, sexy and fun. A total fun time with the Greens and the Soams and I adored every single moment of this story. The next story will feature Cat who is Imogen's sister and Zeke who is a close friend to Noah.
I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Even the best laid plans can go astray….sometimes it’s even better!
Noah needs a fiancé for the best of intentions. Imogen needs a little peace from everyone trying to fix her up. It’s a win/win for the both of them to reach a mutual, beneficial marriage agreement…until!
I fell in love with this book. The author certainly knows how to spin a tale, grab your attention, pull you in and keep you riveted until the final page, all while setting you up for the next book that you can’t wait to read.
If you’ve read the other books by the author you’ll be happy to know you’ll be reacquainted with some of the characters you’ve come to know. If not don’t worry it won’t inhibit your enjoyment of the story.
I read this book in one sitting. I couldn’t stop. At the end I wished I hadn’t finished it because I wanted more. I was happy because of the book and sad because I wasn’t ready to let them go. Now that a good book!
The Wedding Agreement is such an amazing book! Imogen is beautifully real and her insecurities are something I've dealt with when dealing with work-life balance.
I loved Noah, his lifestyle, and his family. Noah was an original character for me outside the historical romance novels, and it was interesting to read a book about a character who has a title but not a royalty title. I liked how his lifestyle was dedicated to giving back to the community and how he was willing to take a step back and allow Imogen' career to come first.
Noah and Imogen were adorable and so much fun! I loved their scenes where they are beginning to fall for each other while setting up the wedding agreement. The Wedding Agreement is a creative original version of a marriage of convenience and I'm obsessed!
I’m not usually the biggest fan of relationship/marriage of convenience stories. I am, however, a fan of the Callaghan Green world and its rapidly-expanding cast of characters, and this latest instalment does not disappoint. Imogen is a busy lawyer in the family firm who’s thoroughly jaded with the dating scene, and Noah is an old school friend who reappears in her life, in the difficult situation of wanting to please his family (for various reasons) but currently not going about it in the right way. The agreement they come up with changes both their lives. Their history, their attraction, their sheer combustible chemistry all sizzle on the page, and the practicalities and pitfalls of the agreement are also dealt with believably. Of course, there’s plenty of commentary and comedy from the supporting characters which all adds depth and colour too. So if marriage of convenience is your thing, you will love this… and if it’s not, you might well love it regardless.
What do you do when you see your childhood crush again, after many years? You propose marriage, of course! Imogen & Noah reconnect when Noah required a lawyer for a property dispute, and sparks fly! Their families are nothing alike but mean so much to both of them.
I really enjoyed seeing them work things out in the confines of marriage. I loved the family characters surrounding them - if you’ve read any of Annie Dyer’s other books, you will recognize & smile at seeing folks again. This book what a terrific end-of-summer read!
Oh my gosh I absolutely loved this book!! These characters feel like family and I always love catching up with the Callaghan Green’s. The Callaghan Green family is a favorite of mine and I’m so glad Annie Dyer is continuing on with this family’s cousins!
This is Imogen and Noah’s story. She is fun, smart and sweet. We’ve met her in other Callaghan-Green books, taking a more important role each time. Now this is her love story. Noah is someone she knew from school, when she was a teen. They meet again by chance and go into an agreement to satisfy both parties. It’s all fun and excitement until a third player says something that makes Imogen doubt everything. There’s some chaos, but they work through it all and finally get their HEA. I loved this story!! And now can’t wait for the next book in the series.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars as this is a 10!
Annie Dyer has done it again with another story that is engrossing, entertaining and tugged on my heart strings. I am already missing her very likeable characters!
All of Annie's books are stand alone romances but you get wonderful glimpses of past characters as you read on, so I do suggest reading the series in order. I started with The Severton Rescue series which is another 10 star read! (If Severton was a real place I would move there!) I suggest that you read The Callaghan Green Series before this story.
Annie's storys always leave me feeling like I have made new friends while catching up with old ones. I thoroughly enjoy her books and heartily recommend them to you.
I was given a free ARC of this book in return for my honest review.
The Wedding Agreement by Annie Dyer was a heartwarming fake marriage romance between a modern day version of prince charming kind of hero and a sassy heroine. It was all about how fake arrangements bring real emotions.
Noah Soames is all set to marry social media influencer Carla. He is not marrying for love. He wants his sick grandfather to witness his marriage and his mother to get off his back. But things happen and the marriage is out of question. Then his old school friend and present legal adviser Imogen offers a solution. A fake marriage. That will save Imogen from the pressure of constantly being set up for bad dates by her friends and family.
Noah comes from a very wealthy, famous and aristocratic family. But he is not arrogant or snobby at all. His mother the ladyship is another story though. He is kind, gorgeous, easygoing, understanding and all kinds of swoonworthy materials. He never treated Imogen any different than his beloved fiance. And Imogen fell for him head over heels. She is fiercely independent and work is important to her. Intelligent. Smart. Sweet. She is not ready to settle for just any man. She keeps on searching for someone who will love her and respect her work. And ironically the fake agreement is where she found love. They had an instant attraction but then it was slow burn as they were dealing with so many things. It was full of sweet emotions. The only issue I had ( and something I have been having with Annie Dyer's recent books) is the extremely large secondary characters. I have read most of the books about Imogen's cousins and family and yet I was getting lost. I felt like I am spending a bit too much time with the family rather than the couple. I love big families but this was just dragging the story down a bit.
A laugh-out-loud, fun, and flirty romance about finding love when you least expect it.
"I can't think of anyone I've ever met that I'd rather be here with right now."
Noah and Imogen have not seen each other in a decade and can not get over how much each other has changed. Noah was supposed to get married, but when he finds his fiancé in a precarious position the wedding is called off. Imogen is tired of all the failed hookups her family keeps trying to set up for her. When Noah mentions his predicament to Imogen, she offers to marry him. Now to just get through the next twelve months without their hearts getting broken.
"I don't need all of them to be happy, Noah. I don't even need one. But the thought you put into this - that's made my weekend, even longer than that."
Noah and Imogen’s story was interesting. I loved the way their relationship grew throughout the book from semi-awkward to t
4.5 Maple Leafs… The Wedding Agreement (The Green Family #1) is a friends to lovers, fake relationship, marriage of convenience romance that is told in the dual first-person point of view of Noah and Imogen.

Absolutely floved this book, not only do we get new characters we get to see what the old gang is up to. The Green family have plenty of quirks which makes you love them straight away just like you did the Callaghan-Greens and you really feel for Imogen and the single life pressures she has and for Noah who only wants to make is Grandfather happy. Imogen and Noah are perfect for each other even if they don't realize it or communicate it to each other, everyone else knows so you are waiting for them to finally see what they have is so much more than an agreement. You get loads of laughs, awkward moments, sweet times, undeniable attraction, crazy family members and a story that has you turning the page needing to know an agreement between friends to help each other out turns into a HEA!!!
This was a fantastic read every part of this story was well exicuted, kind of like Noah's Mother. 😉 So our story kind of starts out with a bit of a reunion two former school mates Noah the handsom boy, who comes from a good family, wealthy and popular and Imogen still well to do, not exactly popular, but smart, gets along well enough with others, but not really on Noah's level. Not that that stops her crushing on him. Well now what seems like a lifetime later Imo is a lawyer and Noah is in charge of his families land holdings, oh and engaged. Noah needs a lawyer for a land dispute, and a favor. But why a fake engagement? Is it fake, it certainly doesn't seem fake. See for yourself if these to can get their heads out of the sand before their agreement comes to an end. You well laugh, maybe cry, you will definitely swoon and you will for sure fall in love with Noah and Imogen.
Do you love Severton Search & Rescue? Callaghan Green? This new series has cameos from both other series making it that much more fun. It stands alone, though for sure. Imogen and Noah are so much fun! She's an attorney (at Callaghan Green! More Seph and the copy machine!!) and he needs to get married soon because he wants his grandfather to be there. They cross paths over a land dispute she's working on for him... and sparks fly. She's a perfect replacement for the party girl/"influencer" that he's arranged with at the beginning of the book.
I love an fake marriage trope and this one delivers. The London setting, the Callaghans and the Greens and two genuinely great characters (plus Lady S) make for a delicious read.
I am a huge fan of Annie's Callaghan Green series and was so looking forward to reading about the Green side of the family and The Wedding Agreement did not disappoint.
Imogen is a member of the feisty Green family, she is a career girl who is fed up with dating hopeless men until she meets Noah who she remembers from school. Noah is from an extremely wealthy family but his beloved Grandfather is suffering from dementia which is slowly taking his memory and Noah's wish is to have his Grandfather at this wedding. When his chosen but horrid bride is caught in a delicate situation Noah is on the look out for a new bride and Imogen offers to take on the challenge.
Fake fiance is one of my favourite genres so I loved it from the start. It was lovely to be back amongst old friends which is always how I feel when I have read one of Annie's books. Can't wait for the next book.
Noah comes from a wealthy family with a mother that wants him married. Imogen is a Green cousin who moved back to London from the states to work at the family law office. When Noah catches his fiancé in a compromising position, he calls off his wedding, but is upset because his beloved grandfather has dementia and he wants him to see his wedding before he’s too far gone. His lawyer, Imogen, volunteers to marry him for one year. The only problem is, she had a crush on him when they were kids, and she’s afraid that she may get emotionally involved. I loved this book and I would recommend it to everyone. I can’t wait for Shay’s book.
Omg! This was my first book from Annie but definitely not the last! I ADORED this book and was completely in the FEELS. I love a good fake fiancé and Imogen and Noah were so great for each other! I loved how the arrangement took the pressure off these two. They were able to just be with each other. They had a past, but they had the special chance to get to know each other as adults. They didn't want to change the other person and melded their lives together. While things started out professional, it soon began to shift. And it was a delicious slide into more. I couldn't read this book fast enough and even days later, this book is still hanging with me. I can't recommend this book enough!
Would you marry a friend to help them out? Make a contract for a certain period of time so the needs are met and then move on to the next chapter of your life? This is exactly what Imogene thought that she offered to be Noah’s temporary bride. They thought that they had found the perfect solution, that is, until their hearts and feelings got involved.
I was dying to get my hands on this book and devoured it as soon as it became available! It definitely didn’t miss the mark in substance and is right up there as one of my favorites from this author. 5 stars from me!!
I devoured this book, being back in the Callaghan-Green world was amazing, with little insights into all of our favourites lives. Noah and Imogen were made for each other and their story was so sweet. I love Annie’s work and cannot wait for the next book in this amazing series.
I haven't read each & every book Annie has written, but the few that I have were positively outstanding and The Wedding Agreement has now been added to that list. Noah is the most perfectly written book boyfriend. He has a soft caring side, but can be super alpha and dominating as well. He was definitely what Imogen didn't realise she needed. She is a bit of a work-a-holic, and because of this life seems to be passing her by - well all the good bits anyway. Fake relationship is a trope that I am forever drawn to and Annie has done an outstanding job with her version. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book
