As Shadow and Gabe become more involved with the Orphic Guild, they find out that the occult world is full of intrigue and far more complicated than they realised.
Especially when it seems that someone wants the same thing that they do - The Trinity of the Seeker.
Cause for concern?
Absolutely not. If anything, Shadow is more committed than ever, and relishes pitting her wits against an unpredictable enemy.
And Gabe? When they find instructions that could enable him to speak to his father, he and the Nephilim are more than ready to fight.
Join Shadow, Gabe, and Harlan as they race against an occult organisation that is as underhand as they are.
If you love paranormal action-packed fiction with plenty of mystery and lots of fun, you’ll love the White Haven Hunters.
I'm a writer, a pagan, and a witch, and consequently love all things magical. I write fictional books about witchcraft and the paranormal, and they are jam-packed with fabulous characters, colourful settings, plenty of action, and lots of humour.
I was born in England, in the Black Country, but moved to New Zealand in 2006. I lived near Wellington with my partner Jase, and my cats Sacha and Leia. However, in April 2022 we moved again! Yes, I like making my life complicated… I’m now living in the Algarve in Portugal, and loving the fabulous weather and people. When I’m not busy writing I read lots, indulge in gardening and shopping, and I love yoga.
Confession time! I’m a Star Trek geek – old and new – and love urban fantasy and detective shows. Secret passion – Columbo! Favourite Star Trek film is the Wrath of Khan, the original! Other top films – Predator, the original, and Aliens.
In a previous life I was a singer in a band, and used to do some acting with a theatre company. For more on me, check out a couple of my blog posts. I have also written a blog about how I finally became comfortable about calling myself a witch. It's called Leaning into my Witch.
Shadow and the Nephilim are still working for the Orphic Guild. They have a new treasure to find that takes them on a quest that requires the Nephilim to look to their own history and be faced with some difficult, uncomfortable situations with what they find. The story expands not only their history, but continues to reveal more about the Orphic Guild and conflict with rival companies which put them all in danger. This was a great read, and the cause of yet another late night reading into the wee small hours as I couldn’t leave it! Now greedily waiting for the next one…
Second book of the series of White Haven Hunters. I love the first one but the second one is even better! More fast paced , Gabe and Shadow's relationship continue to develop slowly . There are mores mysteries and lots of alchemical references that make the world universe so fascinating. New characters and characters of the main series appear, we learnt more about the world of occultists Orders and the main characters continue to develop their relationships and evolve. Fantastic read and totally reccomend it.
The 2nd book in this series and the action just get more intriguing and exciting and a bit dark. In this book Shadow, our fae character is undoubtedly our heroine, and what a kick-ass heroine she turns out to be. She and Gabe the Nephilim are more involved with the Orphic Guild than ever and this time round they are searching for the Trinity of the Seeker and they are both heavily into searching to unravel this mystery for their client JD Mortlake especially when what they are searching for should lead to a place to talk to angels. However not all the Nephilim are keen on getting in touch with their fathers, Niel is wary, he would rather keep flying under the radar than call attention to their lives once again. After all they had been killed by the fallen angels once and they were enjoying life this time around, but they all felt committed to watch each other's back in what turned out to be a very dangerous and deadly escapade. I love the mystery and tension building to solve the clues they found in the Hammond diaries and the race to get to the end of their quest before their evil competitors who had no scruples in acquiring what they sought. So no holds barred they all set out to get their first. I really enjoy this series and love it's dark side full of not only magic but dipping into dark magic, the arcane and occult with a necromancer thrown into the mix too! Would also love to see a relationship forming between Shadow and Gabe as their feelings for one another slowly smoulder! Maybe in book 3, who knows? Something to look forward to.
This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building. Can't wait to read what the author brings out next. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Book 2 is actually better than the first book coz the characters are more developed. I have slight suspicions/hopes regarding certain people but, knowing this authors work, I'm certain there will be plenty of slippery paths to wander down before a surprise ending.
I received a free review copy of this book and chose to leave a review.
I don’t do spoilers, what I will say this, it is a book you cannot put down, it kept me on the edge of my seat. Well written with adventure enough for everyone ! It was an enjoyable read and I highly recommend it.
✳️✳️ONE ACTION PACKED ADVENTURE✳️✳️ Skipping skeeters scooby! Green never ceases to amaze me, serving up one sensationally bewitching, enticingly titillating, sinfully addictive delectably delightful, skillfully compelling, rock-our-world avalanche, dishing out this action packed, fun-filled, heart pounding, pulse racing, adrenaline pumping, block buster, propelling this little number to staggering heights. Sparks ignite mindful of the challenging struggles and formidable triumphs cognizant of the perilous twists and stunning turns unfolding, attentive to the crumbling barriers and pelted perimeters solidify as limitations are enhanced and tested, secrets are shared and revelations are disclosed, putting our characters through their paces fusing this jewel together seamlessly. Perception and ingenuity in every thread you unravel with each page your drawn into this tangled web so securely and precise, exhibiting the mischievous quirks and defying bents, kicking this bad boy into the eye of a storm, bursting it into a tailspin with mind-blowing impacts, exploding this baby to life brilliantly. The characters are complex, genuine and realistic with traits and qualities that balances fluidly, with amazing depth and diversity and enough spice to add an extra kick to the mix. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating a majestic backdrop that's so rich and lively it feels as though you're part of the story instead of on the sidelines, feeling everything the characters feel. Amazing job Green, thanks for sharing this awesome little gem with us.
Excellent book!! From start to finish it was an easy and exciting read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I love the growing relationship between Gabe and Shadow and am more than excited to see where it goes. They have quite an easy side with each other, with the odd annoyances that only really happen with someone you're close to!! We also find out more about the Orphic Guild and are also introduced to JD, the owner and founder of the Guild. We also find some interesting facts about him too, that you really won't expect. Olivia is also introduced in this book, whom we first met with the Witches of White Haven. But along with the Orphic Guild, we're also introduced to others in the same line of work and competitors, namely The Guild Of Lilith, and their shady boss along with other shady characters. All in all there is a lot going on and I won't go into too much detail as it could end up giving spoilers and I won't do that!! As for recommending the book, absolutely one hundred percent. There's lots of action and it's just brilliantly written, from start to finish. Now please excuse me, I'm going to make a cup of coffee and then I'm going to read Dark Star 😏😏
Lovely distraction for such a dark day. The story continues. I know that I always recommend reading books in order, but these books follow closely on each other and if read out of order will provide spoilers. The Hunters have more adventures. This book was almost impossible to stop reading. I got the audiobook so I could continue to "read" while doing housework.
The Nephillim and Shadow are sent on a new quest for the Orphic Guild. It's fast and furious.
Gabe, Shadow and Harlan undertake this assignment which has trouble written all over it from the start. They find that they have new competition who is as eager as they are to obtain this rare book. Their ways are not honourable and that lead to various obstacles.
It's a good plot. It's fast paced and very engaging.
As always, TJ tells a tale of intrigue. A fallen angel ha hidden a book with secrets of life. The Orphic Guild and rivals vie to gain possession. A hidden chamber, hugely vast, carved by an angel and containing pitfalls and challenges becomes a fight for life for Shadow, Nephilim and relic hunters. Exciting adventure underground.
Shadow's Edge (White Haven Hunters Book 2) by TJ Green is an awesome story. This is book number two in this awesome series that I loved reading. I highly recommend this story to everyone.
I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book & am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.
Love this author, so eat for a relaxing read but with great story lines and plots, you do need to read book 1 first to get to know the characters who are also in the White Haven Witches series towards the latter books. If you like the paranormal type of genre (main characters are Nephilim and a fae).
I'm loving this series spin off from the Whitehaven witches. It's good to find out more about the nephilim and shadow. This one doesn't disappoint either. Full of adventure magic and mystery. Couldn't put it down! Think a touch of Indiana Jones with magic! Loved it.
This author keeps on bringing the magical intrigue, I couldn't put it down. Suspense and magic abound it's one fantastic page turner. You'll fall in love with her characters, I know I did. Thoroughly recommended
In this fast paced, action adventure, Shadow and some of the Nephilims are tasked with finding The Trinity of the Seeker by the Orphic Guild. The team faces danger several times in this interesting, entertaining Indiana Jones type story. Looking forward to more White Haven stories.
T J has once again surpassed herself. I enjoyed this second sequel just like the first if not more. I can't wait to read about what Shadow and the Nephilim get up to next. Love, love, love it. Thanks TJ, u made my week in between studying.
Great background story to follow up the nephilim and Shadow, the fiery fey, who were released into this world through the white Haven witches and their battles against evil forces. This is a great series and I've enjoyed reading these books
This second book in the series definitely does not disappoint. Shadow and Gabe's story continues and we get to know more of the Nephilim. Intriguing story that keeps you in suspense and won't let you put the book down until the end. I loved it and thoroughly recommend reading.
The second book in this series, I'm really loving the way the characters are developing. The tension between Gabe and Shaddow is just right. Can't wait to see what happens with these guys next.
Love these book. What's not to like? Seven hunky gorgeous men and a beautiful fey dangerous female. There is so much going on in here I can't begin to describe it, but I couldn't put it down.
Each book in the series has added another view of this magical world. This installment provided insights, history and information about the characters and their relationships.
Loving this spin off series, I hope TJ isn't offended when I say it's like Indiana Jones with supernatural beings. Total rip roaring adventure sees shadow and gabe on the hunt for a hidden book, plenty action, bit of comedy, great adventure to escape into. I loved it

Fantastic book yet again , good story line . Characters are so different to the witches it’s a pleasant alternative even though they do appear sometimes. Loving all this author’s work
TJ green never disappoints us this book is full of suspense action A Touch of Romance Mystic everything the reader could want. Highly recommend this book as well as many of the other books in the series. Take your pick you will never be disappointed.
Stunningly descriptive! This book is so well written that the world building is brilliant! It's an epic action/fantasy adventure! I could not put it down! Definitely one I am going to re-read!
