In part 7 of the Slave Matthew Chronicles, Matthew has committed another cardinal gluttony. Before this happens, though, he is able to leave the premises for a short time under his Master's supervision. Nonetheless, Matthew must face the consequences for his actions. In the process, he is introduced to another one of his Master's clever contraptions. Also, he is finally starting to think about his position in life. Was this what he wanted? Was he really sure this life is for him? In part 7, the smoke starts to clear for Matthew to think about what he wants.
