to tell you the truth, I have mixed feelings after reading The Right Wrong, book 3 in the Once Upon a Rock Star series...*shrugs*

More likely, I leaned towards 3 stars BUT since there were equal parts that I liked and characters that warmed my heart, I re-considered it and finished up with a final decision of 3,75 rating stars.

So, ahem...I didn't much like the main characters in general, I found Sierra Mitchell a bit immature still even though she had a tough role of being a single mother at age 22 to a boy of 5...yeah, you can guess she was a teen mom and her heart was broken by the pompous bad boy jock star in high school...enter insecurities and issues about these male types!

on the other side we had a bad boy/man-whore rock star, a bass guitar player Ben Kennedy, who had an abusive childhood and who found his father dead after suicide...enter the feelings of complete loss and self-loathing...

when these two meet, there's an instant pull, BUT also all their issues come barrelling towards the surface and voila, you have a mess...

she wants stability and love and he can't give that cause he doesn't know what that is!

there are so many struggles and issues around them to add to the mix and when they finally accept themselves and acknowledge the good and the bad, you feel relieved after being exhausted.

what kind of bothered me were their monologues, during the conversation, it's like they were in a theatrical play and they were each given recitals to perform...it felt odd, and well distant...

the best part of the story were interactions with Sierra's kid Dylan! That kid brightened the day!

This is my first time reading from this author! And it made me very curious and interested!!!

‼️‼️‼️THE HERO IS A ROCK STAR AND PROTECTIVE POSSESSIVE ALPHA MALE. Not over the top possessive but he is possessive alright. hopefully in the future i will read more possessive heroes from this author because pleaseee😅🙏🏻🙏🏻

‼️‼️‼️NO CHEATING AND NO SEPARATION

‼️‼️‼️BOTH HERO AND HEROINE went through a lot in their personal life in the past that made me shared a tear up a bit. No r*pe tho so don’t worry.

‼️‼️‼️MANY JEALOUS SCENES FROM THE HERO and little from the heroine.

“He just touched her”
“I’m gonna rip his arm off.”

“I like looking at her, but it irritated me to think about him doing so.”

‼️‼️‼️not Love in first sight tho. Its more like electricity touch.
“Electricity pricked my skin, and my d*ck throbbed. Just the contact. That single tap set me in fire. I wanted so badly to sink my c*ck inside her.”

Romantic and how🥺🥺🤣

‼️‼️‼️NOT MANY GROUPIE AROUND OR GROUPIE THAT MADE A HUGE TERRIBLE FIGHT. Which I’m glad cause some of the groupies from other book can be a handful to read😅 THE GROUPIE is around but not around like all the freakin time so thats good.

‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE IS A SINGLE MOM BUT SHE IS STRONG AND I LOVE HER FAMILY THAT REALLY SUPPORTS HER SO MUCH! Made me jealous lol

‼️‼️‼️I LOVE THAT THE HERO IS CELIBATE AND DIDN’T HAVE SX WITH ANYONE ELSE WHEN HE FIRST SAW THE HEROINE! Even though he went out with the groupie to make the heroine jealous or just being stupid childish, he never went overboard with them. Never too much. Only touching hand but afterwards he sends them off like a good gentleman.

‼️‼️‼️NO DRAMA WITH OW. ONLY DRAMA WITH OM. It has other woman tho but is just her personal tutor slash babysitter who thinks its okay to do something stupid with the heroine’s personal belongings. So I don’t count that is other woman because that woman never likes the hero or she hates the hero so badly. DRAMA WITH OM like two times but never too much. MOST OF THE DRAMA is about each other tho... lol

‼️‼️‼️SAFE ROMANTIC HOT LOVE STORY

‼️‼️‼️NO VIRGINS. But the hero is celibate after meeting the heroine and the heroine is been celibate for 5 years more.

“Since phoenix. I haven’t been interested in anyone but you since I first laid eyes on you.”

🥺🥺🥺

‼️‼️‼️THE CONNECTION THAT THIS COUPLE HAVE IS FREAKIN HOT AND ROMANTIC I WANT TO AWEEE ALL THE FREAKIN TIME. It made me read more and more into it.

‼️‼️‼️IT HAS PUSHING AWAY FROM BOTH but never too much. Not too annoying either. And in the end you understand why both feel like that way about each other. They have a tragic sad past that still hurts inside of them. But I’m glad that this couple didn’t push each other way too much because I don’t like that either if that happens. This couple really fight for each other and fight their inside to see the light and good. 🥺🥺🥺

‼️‼️‼️VERY HOT SMUT SCENES EVER😏😏😏 i love that the hero is obsessed with the heroine’s body.

‼️‼️‼️HAPPY ENDING! Both are married. I want a longer epilogue tho cause it will be cute to see children but Hopefully for the longer epilogue will be in the next book after this. Because I’m sooo curious!!! I needed that now please.

Also hopefully next time the hero will be more possessive cause thats so hot😆😆🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 this book is not boring at all. Very entertaining and makes me aweeee.

The Right Wrong is the next book Michelle Mankin's modern fairy tale inspired romance series, Once Upon a Rock Star. This, like the others, could be read alone but expect to want to go back and catch up, if you haven't already. Michelle has a created whole big world with her many rockers, the bands of Black Cat Records, their label..so much to love!

Sierra Marshall is going on tour as favor to her brother and the band he manages, bringing along her favorite person in the world, her 5 year old son. She is familiar with most of these guys, but as their new manager this time, things could get tricky as she tries to prove herself worthy in the eyes of her brother and this band. The wild card here has to be Ben Kennedy, womanizer, player, one and done trouble maker with his entourage of 'Beauties' waiting at every stadium.  She has been warned!

These opposites begin butting heads before the bus leaves the parking lot, but the sparks between can't be missed.  Ben's broken and scarred by a tragic, pain filled childhood, avoids close connections and parties way too much.  This cocky bassist covers his pain with attitude and protective wall a mile thick. Sierra was teen mom at 16, left in the dust by her loser boyfriend, now trusting only in her family...the ones she can always rely on for love and support.  Both have one thing in common...they could both use more love in their lives but don't know how to let someone in.

Sierra's little man, her 'just right' boy Dylan, was hilarious and wise beyond his years.  He formed an immeadiate attachment to Ben and deny all she wants, so did his mom!  Can this sweet, caring, responsible young woman manage these crazy rockers, keep her heart safe and still come out whole at the end of this tour?  Will Ben open up to the possiblities of becoming the man he was meant to be, hidden underneath his emotional armour and step up for Dylan and Sierra?

If you love rockstar romances,  memorable characters and an unforgettable scene stealing little guy, this is going to be your next book! Buckle up for quite a rollercoaster ride as Sierra, Ben and Dylan reach for the stars and fairytales with happily ever afters.

I read an advanced copy of this story, this was my honest review of it.

I know that if I want a good rock star romance, Michelle Mankin is the author to write it. So up till now I’d only read her Rock F*ck Club series, but it was really a good one with a lot of girl power and women owning their own sexuality. This book is the third in a series, and I have a feeling if I ever get any time, I’d like to go back and read the others. Especially Rush and Jewel’s story I think!

The Right Wrong had a really good story that I was very invested in the characters. Their back story was really touching, and the way the beginning of the book gave us that story from the two characters as either a kid or a teen really solidified my investment into them and seeing them get their own HEA. But another thing I liked is that even though Sierra had such a major event in her teen years, becoming a mother while in high school, I love that she still had a good family to take care of her and make her life a good one anyway. I know not everyone has a good family, and that having the bad family can definitely lead to drama and intense storylines. However I know that I am lucky in that I have a good supportive family, even if my parents are divorced, and so I do like to read about families that resemble my own when I can. Of course that also made what Sierra had to give to Ben perfect for his own background and needs.

And Ben, while he was totally the rock star manwhore that you’d think, he had good reason. The time of the year when Sierra came onto the tour was a hard one for him, and it made what he was doing understandable. He was sexy though and it was easy to see why Sierra was attracted to him. It started out with some hate between the two, or at least antagonism that led to some definite hot times later on.

I only had a few small issues with the story. The beginning started a little bit weak for me, well, after we got their background that is. The background stories were perfect. And then there were one or two moments during some of the steamy scenes that I cringed at a little, which surprised me since this author usually writes the best of those types of scenes. One other thing is how she didn't seem to mind or notice that she let her son see how Ben talked to her when they first met. I feel like she would have been a little more upset with him for that, but it wasn't really brought up in the story.

Overall I really enjoyed it, could barely put it down as I needed to know how things would work out between these two characters. I’m grateful to have had the chance to read it.

A contemporary fairytale come true. This series is sweet, sexy and I love how the reimagined fairytales also reimagine the balance of power between our hero and heroine.

Sierra doesn't need rescuing, she just needs someone to really see her. Ben might need a little rescuing, but like any good bad boy his gruff, indifferent exterior hides a marshmallow center.

Together Sierra and Ben complete each other. As equals. As partners. The best kind of romance in my opinion. What a whirlwind, whimsical ride as Sierra and Ben circle around their attraction, give in to the intense chemistry and navigate their pasts to create a beautiful future.

Oh my the love!!!!

Well let’s start with OMG what a great book. It’s the 3rd book and kinda written close together and it just works. My personal opinion although can be a stand alone it’s so much better if you read in order of publication. So so worth it. Ben and Sierra don’t make sense or do they? Start pulling away the layers of past rejection and big hurts and they might find they truly need one another they just need to let love happen.

The writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shocking moments. I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

It can be read as a standalone.
Do you believe? In fairy tales? In happily ever after? In love?

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Fantastic!!!

There is nothing better than a rock romance with a broken bad boy falling for a good girl. This is even better because this good girl has an adorable son. It was a great story of hope, understanding and love.

Ben and Sierra's story is what fairytales are made of. This was a 3a.m. book for me because I couldn't put it down! So sit back and get ready for a book that is steamy and full of rock'n roll!!! You won't be disappointed.

It's time for Sierra and Ben's story, we get of course the sexiness that comes with a rockstar and so much more. Ben is a very interesting character, one with a back story that brings so much into the story. As always Michelle Mankin brings us a story where your feelings will get on a rollercoaster and you simply won't be able to put it down. I really enjoyed Sierra and how she got Ben, even when they started on opposites sides the way they helped each other was amazing to read.

The Right Wrong is the third book in the Once Upon a Rock Star series and this one takes you on an emotional journey like no other. The pull, the push, the attraction and their pasts have you with your heart on the line and wishing for that fairytale ending. Ben is the bad boy rock star, you know the one that fits the stereotype perfectly, however all is not as it seems and there is so much more to him. Sierra is a young single mum who has daily challenges but she has a beautiful five year old to brighten her life. However a broken heart as a teenager has her choosing to play it safe. At times your heart will hurt, then it will be captivated with the finale of having your heart held tight by characters that will remain with you long after their happily ever after. These two will be the beat of your heart and the rhythm to your soul and as the chemistry that draws them together finally takes hold it will be the dance of love between these two that captivates your mind. Ben is a character that at times will have you on the fence between love and hate, Sierra is a strong, independent young woman that gives you inspiration and Dylan is the five year old boy who not only steals the heart of Ben but will steal yours too. This modern version of Sleeping Beauty will rock your world, steam up your kindle, own your heart and have you enchanted by their story right to the very end.

The Right Wrong is book three in the Once Upon A Rock Star series. It can be read as a standalone. I was hooked on this one from the beginning. Sierra is a great character. She's a loving caring single mom. She's the new tour manager for a rock band. Ben is the bassist for the band. Ben is a wild guy. He oozes rockstar and enjoys the benefits of having groupies. I didn't really like him at first because he seemed cocky and a jerk but there is way more to Ben. It didn't take long for me to like Ben. It turns out Ben has layers and is a pretty decent guy. Both have past issues that hold them back but together they are perfect. There is drama, angst, and romance wrapped up into a great story.

Right Right

There’s nothing wrong with the chemistry between Ben and Sierra in Mankin’s newest installment of her stand alone One Upon a Rockstar series. These characters will bring readers all the best feels with this single mom meets hot rocker story.
Sierra lands a trial position as your manager in hopes of becoming a partner in her brother’s business. The trial’s rules change when band members get one look at her. Sierra is determined to keep her job professional with so much for her and her precious son, Dylan’s, livelihood on the line. Too bad Ben, the bass player for the group, has other ideas.
The push/pull between these two heats up the pages and readers will fall in love with the relationships that develop while riding along on tour with the band.

Loved it!

This is my first book of Michelle to ever read and I must say I was not disappointed. I understand I should have read the other's first but I still followed the story.
So emotional and believable and I love our characters and the family around them. Loved the fact that the stood up for each other, that was very touching.
I think I will go and read them in the correct order now. It's a happly ever after with no cheating, my kind of book!

Very intense and moving romance,
On the one hand, the story is the kind I have already read, with the unmanageable rockstar falling in love with his manager, but the story is extremely well written, very moving between the characters, intense.
I really liked the characters of Ben, tortured by his past, and Sierra who no longer trusts men, let alone Ben, the womanizer and alcoholic.
It's a very beautiful story.

*I received a free copy of The Right Wrong. This has in no way influenced my voluntary review which is honest and unbiased.*

The Right Wrong was sweet and fun in many ways, but also hard to read in other ways. Ben had a hard life, and he had fought himself to get to where he was at now with the band.

Sierra was a strong character, raising her son Dylan mostly on her own - with the help from her parents and her brother. I loved that her parents and her brother stood by her from the moment they learned of her pregnancy when she was only sixteen.

There was a lot to love in The Right Wrong, but there were some things I just didn't get, too. For one, Sierra had a tutor for Dylan, and from the beginning, I couldn't stand her. Especially when Sierra wanted to change things around so that she could spend more time with her son, and the tutor persuaded her that it was more important for Dylan to do maths problems than spend time with his mom. I mean, he was five, so it's not as if he'd truly fall behind if he did other things for a few hours each day.

Ben started out as a 'typical' rock star, sleeping with groupies every night, getting drunk, not caring about anyone - least of all himself. As we learned more about his backstory, it was easy to understand why he was acting that way. However, meeting Sierra, and also Dylan, made Ben want to change. It also made him understand that not every woman was like his own mom. I enjoyed that part of the story very much, and at the same time, it felt a little 'easy' to me that Ben managed to stop drinking without any help, just because he wanted to make a good impression. With as much as he'd been drinking before meeting Sierra, I thought it would have been more difficult for him.

Of course, I still enjoyed all the music, and the lyrics to some of the songs the band made had my heart sing. As always, Mankin's writing was really good, and I have to say it's getting better and better still - which is definitely a feat.

If you're looking for a hot rockstar romance, The Right Wrong is definitely a book you should pick up!

Broken and unlovable, Ben hides behind his man-whore ways and his sarcastic mouth. As a Rockstar he gets away with his bad behavior, that is until the bands new manager comes into play. With skeletons in her own closet, Sierra needs to prove that she is worthy of working for her brother while trying to juggle her young son and her career. But thrown together the two figure out that their broken pieces are not so broken when they are together. But will the romance blossom? Or will his old ways come back to haunt him? I instantly fell in love with Ben and wanted to reach into the book and give him a hug. Sierra had all the inner strength every young woman should have and watching her flourish as the story continued was a joy to read. True romance starts with characters that feel they are not worthy but come out in the end stronger and better for the love that they receive. Such a wonderful story.

I managed to finish the book, but I skipped big parts of it.

The writing wasn't good, the dialogues were ridiculous and the characters were childish and lacking depth and also... character.

The sex was meh and too frequent (and frequent meh sex is not a good look on a book).
The MCs had zero chemistry and the young boy didn't act or talk like an almost 6-year-old.

I won't continue with neither this series nor this author. The bonus epilogue hinted about the next book's couple and I find the idea very unoriginal.

Seriously??? Another "friend" who used to be a prostitute???

This modern day retelling of Sleeping Beauty left me smiling and satisfied. Stay tuned for my full review...

***********
Wow. The Right Wrong certainly toyed with my emotions. Both Ben and Sierra had a lot to overcome in order for their romance to blossom. But it did bloom and it did so rather quickly for my tastes but this is a fairytale. ;)

Ben's childhood was far from idyllic. I can't imagine being told - your whole life - that you'd ruined a parent's life. That you were the reason they were unhappy. It was no wonder Ben drank himself to oblivion and/or buried his feelings in meaningless sex. He didn't feel worthy of being loved having been treated so poorly and left by the only person who'd shown him any love. I felt that in some ways he had more to overcome that Sierra. But she made him want to be a better person - showed him he was worthy.

Sierra had it rough when it came to relationships. Well, she only ever had the one and was betrayed at the highest level so she put her love life on ice. And I can't say that I blame her. She put all her energy into raising and doing right by her son. Very noble. I admired her for that. Sierra, though, had something Ben didn't - a loving, supportive family. It wasn't a shock when she started falling for Ben. Sierra could see his vulnerable side and wanted to shore it up. And he melted her ice.

Dylan, Sierra's little boy, was a cutie. He wasn't purely a plot device which you know I appreciate. He provided insight to Sierra at times and also served as comic relief. Having been raised with strong male role models like Sierra's brother and father, I also felt Dylan was a good judge of character. I adored all this interactions with Ben because it showed yet another side of Ben.

I felt like MMankin did well with character development and growth but I would have appreciated a little more exploration of all Sierra's ex had perpetrated against her. It would have better explained her refusal to attempt dating. I appreciated the cameos by Marcus Anthony and Avery Jones as well as seeing Mary TImmons. The teasers about Mary and Charles did exactly as they were intended - I certainly hope we eventually get their story.

"For people like us, music is the rhythm of our hearts that our souls dance to."

Ok, this book is seriously good. I admit to scrounging for all books about rock stars but am usually a bit disappointed after reading them. There's usually nothing different, just substitute "rock star" for "football legend", ya know? But not this one! This one takes you on tour with Rush McMahon's band. It's just a little less stinky than a real-life tour bus ;)

I have been a fan of Ms. Mankin's for a long time now and have to admit something: she has grown up. Matured in her writing. Storytelling has always been on point but she's progressed to another level lately, and this book is a terrific example of that. There are wonderful little jewels to find among the prose, like "Moving to the beat, I reached out, offering my hand to her, my heart in my eyes. It was a damaged and dark thing, but she didn't shrink away. In fact, she stepped forward, placing her hand in mine, and I closed my fingers around hers...". I could just feel the truth of that statement by Benton!

The characters in The Right Wrong felt fresh, and that made all the difference. Pacing of the story was really nicely handled; I never could find a good stopping spot! And one of my favorite things in a multi-series book, I absolutely LOVED all the cameos and mentions from previous books! I would strongly recommend picking this one up, even if you've never read any others from Ms. Mankin. I truly enjoyed every moment of it :) But of course after that you'll want to go back and read Rush's story...

Oh yeah, one more thing - doncha love it when the author NAILS the cover??? THIS ONE IS BEN! I of course enjoyed the eye candy of it but was amazed while reading how accurate he is!!! And that was the icing on the cake for me.

PS: I did receive this as an ARC, but that was a real blessing because I'd planned on buying it anyway...thank you, Michelle!

Opposites attract, these two people are making sparks fly and watching them figure each other out is fun to watch. The little boy is a great addition, I love kids in stories, especially smart, funny, talented little kids. Mother and son are a pair and both need to be part of life if Ben wants to get anywhere with Sierra. I jumped right in and was hooked and wanting to know these two better right away. I hadn’t read the other stories in the series yet and this one made me go back and read the other two about Rush and Jewel and Brad and Cam and now I’m hooked on the series. This story and this series do not disappoint. Fun, sexy rockstars, plus you get background that makes you love each character, flaws and all. I enjoy the idea of redemption and that everyone should be judged based on their character, not the circumstances that they find themselves in. No judgment for what people need to do to survive, if you have never had no options, you shouldn’t judge others for what some need to do to survive. I love that the characters are flawed and I mean all of them, there are no perfect people, celebrity doesn’t make you perfect. Perfection is found within yourself and then you find someone that appreciates it and I think that is what happens with each couple in this series. Hot sex and romance accompany some interesting themes. I enjoy this author’s stories because there is more there in the relationships than just romance. Strong women in this series and they make for such interesting characters and contrast to these rockers. Go out and read this one and then go back and read the other two, so you can be ready for Jack’s story in the next book!

When she loses her job as an assistant to a pop diva and her brother offers her a job going on a short tour with one of the band's he manages, Sierrra Marshall agrees especially since she's allowed to bring her son and his tutor along. She knows proving herself will be hard but she is determined she just doesn't expect for the band's bassist, Ben Kennedy, to wake up her sexual side she hasn't let out in a very, very long time. And she really didn't expect her son Dylan, to take an instant liking to the man. I enjoyed this one quite a bit and I did feel we saw both characters grow and change throughout, especially Ben who was always closed off and locked his emotions down or drowned them out with booze. Yes, I still felt it was a bit far-fetched that he went from partying with 4 hookers in his room to only wanting Sierra but I let that go somewhat. Sierra on the other hand was a bit more difficult as she should be because of her son and I give Ben credit for realizing she needed something more from him that what had worked on groupies and hookers in the past. To be honest throughout this series, I find it hard to believe that anyone wouldn't want a new sexual partner (one with a background of mulitple partners) tested before becoming intimate, but what do I know. I really expected that of Sierra given she's a single mom, but she didn't, she let her hormones call the shots. Overall I found that this book had a bit of a lighter feel and I loved the relationship that developed between Dylan and Ben just as much as the one between Sierra and Ben. A sweet, fun, and sexy story the best to date in this series.

ok so I know this is book 3 in this series... now I need to grab the other two.. I NEED to read both Rush and Brads books.... and I really hope for a Jack book...

I love broken lost rockers... and Ben fits that to a T!! Bens childhood is tainted and left him in a very dark place after finding his father dead his life started to spiral..

“If he’s wrong, he’s the right wrong for me."

Sierra is a single mom.. after giving herself to her childhood boyfriend at the age of 16 she finds herself pregnant.. and alone.. but with the help of her parents.. she manages to make something of herself.. and she has the sweetest little boy..

Sierra is given the opportunity to help her brother out by going on tour and managing of of his bands.. what she doesn't expect is to fall for the broken bad boy rocker..

With both having their hearts broken due to horrific childhood experiences its left them both broken.. both Ben and Sierra know it cant and should not happen but how do you stop the ineviadible? The heart wants what it wants..

I've read quite a few of Michelle's books and this is right up there with them.. they are all fantastic. If your looking for a fast read, a broken rocker read... GET THIS BOOK!!

"Dylan," he held out his hand and my son put his smaller one in Bens.. "I love You .. would you allow me a chance to be your father, since I already love you like you're my son? " "Yes Ben, "Dylan said, and my eyes filled. "I love You.. I want you to be my dad now Please.."

This story is sweet, amusing and Hot! It is a retelling of the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty with Rock Stars.

the H/h had loads of chemistry. I loved Ben, and I was excited to read his and Sierras story. Ben had a tough childhood involving a terrible mother and a father who he loved but who was emotionally damaged. A terrible event happens when Ben is young and it darkened his heart. Ben took his love of music and became a rock star and enjoyed the perks, mainly groupies.

Sierra became a mother at the age of of 16, the boy who got her pregnant dumped her and moved onto another girl. When she confronted him about the pregnancy he walked away and broke her heart. Luckily she had a loving family who vowed to help her through it all. Six years later, with her families help she has a wonderful son and a great career working for her brothers management company that handles Rock musicians. Sierras first assignment is too manage Bens band. She is going on the road with the band and taking her son Dylan.

Their first impressions of each other are not the best and they are dealing with past hurts, feelings of inadequacy and hiding their real emotions.

During the tour they start to let down their shields and get to know each other as and dig thru the past misunderstandings.

I love each of Michelle Mankins books, but this was one of my favorites. This book is part of the Once Upon A Rockstar series but it can be read as a stand alone. There are some characters from the previous books and it was nice to see them and where they are in their lives.

the fl is dumb, naive, and too stubborn. she should never bring a child on tour and hire a uppity and snotty nanny mcphee wannabe and make her a dormat to her son and make her feel inferior to her CHILD. Btw sierra should’ve let her son stay with her parents and let him be in an environment with kids his own age and complaining all the time about not spending enough time with him and basically it seem like all she care about is getting dicked down by benton and make poor excuses that happened in the past and making it like her stuff is worse than his life. he was raised by an cunt of a mother and a doormat of a father who should’ve grown a pair and left her ass than off hisself. sierra was raised in a good childhood and making her one dumb ass mistake ruin her life on a guy she should of known was a piece of shit and think just because y’all fuck and think it’s love. In these chapters she make a choice like dissing benton past discretions with OW rule over not getting with him and going out with other guys. Like stop being jealous of girls who are his fans who hang around him and say he is fucking them when his band mates say he doing stuff for music than assuming shit. She is a terrible mother who needs to let her son live and life than sit his ass on a bus with a ugly ass nanny/tutor and learn stuff that kids his age shouldn’t be learning at FIVE. he should be around kids and having fun. not sitting around a bus with grown ass people and hanging with them. this story needs to do better but it’s meh.

Absolutely PHENOMENAL !!
Ben and Sierra's romance had me spellbound and I could not get enough ,between their sexual crackles of attraction,to the heart fluttering moments,I was completely enchanted by their rollercoaster relationship. How can something that should be so wrong, feel so right.
I love Ben he is the epitome of a badboy rockstar and a moody broody manwhore,he has a terrible reputation and is as sexy as hell. But there is a shadow hanging over him because of his past and his fathers death and his mothers rejection. His badboy behaviour is a disguise to hide the broken man inside...And his music is his escape.
Sierra is a single mum to an adorable 6 year old boy Dylan.
Pregnant at 16 she had overcome alot and the rejection of Dylan's dad, becoming a no nonesense strong independent woman, who is now appointed manager to Ben and his bandmates.
She catches Ben's eye immediately, but they don't get off to a good start even though there is an undeniable chemistry.
There is so much more to this story than you would expect and it sure had me hooked,I loved seeing Ben's character change,I loved reading these two tormented souls heal eachother and fall in Love.
This is a Beautiful, mesmerizing story and my heart wept with how much this touched my romantic soul.
Michelle Mankin's writing is impeccable and she has carved out such an addictive Rockstar romance sexy, emotional and a complete page turner.
I highly recommend it.
5 blissful Stars.

Well, I lost interest after 60%.. I couldn't able to connect with the H and h

1) Hero obviously a Manwhore.
2) h didn't had a backbone to stick to her decision...
3) heroine son is more mature than her... I didn't feel he is a 5yr old kid.
4) heroine seems careless about her son's mental well-being, in some chapters, the kid felt guilty or blamed himself for effecting his Mom's and uncle's life due to his birth.
5) Too much pushing away from H, what I disliked about this H is, he is confused with his feelings for her, he always need Rush,Jack to make him shake his fuck*ng senses even after 70 % of the story. He was damn confused when she said I love you for the first time and his reaction was pathetic.
6) The sex tape thing was disappointing... The h didn't react much into it.
7) It took a Sex Tape thing to figure out for the h that Layla was indeed a bad influence, before that she was blinded the way Layla treated her Son.
8) Whenever h get hurt, I thought she will have a backback to not make things go easy for him but this heroine disappoint me by always melting to him even if he says, you are beautiful...she will forget that she was mad over his behaviour...
9) I didn't like the way she managed the Trey matter, she wasn't strong to face him along with her lawyer, instead she went with everyone...
10) I love you thing, marriage etc wasn't magical...I felt bored alot ... I didn't feel the pull...

So obviously, a forgettable characters ....

Ben & Sierra's story is, quite simply, beautiful! They start out a bit antagonistic because of Ben's arrogant & rude behavior toward Sierra, but she certainly holds her own. She doesn't take his crap, which intrigues him. He's used to "easy." While pursuing Sierra, in the beginning, it's purely physical. He wants her, he'll have her, and his "manhood" is in control.

But then... the tides change because Dylan, her son, starts to work his way into Ben's heart. Dylan is so open, no guile - Ben is going to be his friend & there will be no arguments. And Sierra helps Ben through a super rough patch, which starts Ben's journey of maybe wanting something... more.

Sierra's heart has been so hurt by Dylan's father, her trust was so broken at a young age, that she struggles to trust Ben's advances. (His reputation doesn't help in that regard!) As he chips away at her walls, as she sees the affection he has for his bandmates & her son, she falls...

I seriously swooned through this entire story. I love the characters & the way there is some drama going on, but it's not terribly angsty in the relationship. That angst is there - these hearts are damaged & need to heal - but it's not overdone or drug out. And the family aspect throughout is so amazingly written!

Their story just made me ... happy!

This made my heart all warm and fuzzy. A beautiful spin on the Sleeping Beauty Fairtytale. It had everything I have come to love from this series, a broken rock star thinking he is unlovable due to the traumatic childhood he was raised in and a very devoted single mother, who learned a tough lesson at a young age and has built her life around her son to show him he has missed nothing and will always be loved.

Ben and Sierra both had so much love to give, but kept their hearts firmly locked away due to horrible experiences in their past that left them both hurt. Once they gave into their attraction, there was no stopping the heat and chemistry between these two. I have to admit Dylan stole the show for me, an old soul far wiser than his young age gave him credit for, always polite and there for his mum, knowing what she had given up to raise him as best as she could as a single parent. His immediate connection with Ben was beautiful to witness and it was heartwarming to see their bond slowly strengthen and grow.

If you're looking for a hot rock star romance, with an adorable young kiddo thrown in the mix, some steamy bedroom/tourbus action and a very well deserved HEA, then this one should not be missed. I finished this in one sitting. Once I started, I couldn't put it down.

How can something so right possibly be so wrong? If you are Sierra and Ben falling in love is definitely the worst thing they could do. Sierra is standing in for her brother as band's tour manager, and you don't mess with the boss, and she has a kid.

Another book in Michelle Mankin's Once Upon a Rock Star Series was just what I needed. In this book we meet opposites Sierra and Benton. Sierra might be soft on the outside but she is made of steel, after being abandoned by her boyfriend to become a single mother at 16. Despite having family support she still struggled to bring up her son while completing college she does not owe anyone anything and the last thing she needs is Benton.

Benton lost his father at an early age and lived with a mother who was unable to give him the love he needed. He compensates for his demons by losing himself in faceless women, booze and performing. When Sierra takes over from her brother as manager for the band she meets Ben and there is immediate chemistry but also animosity as they both throw up walls to protect themselves.

Michelle takes us on an epic but bumpy ride with these two as they fight their growing feelings for each other. Be ready with your tissues because it can be a punch to the gut in parts. You will shed a few tears as Michelle paints such a realistic picture of these two people so scarred by their pasts they are afraid to move on. But the story is balanced by lots of laughter and cuteness to enjoy in Dylan Sierra's son. He is bright and likeable kid with wisdom beyond his years.

Once picked up this book refused to be put down, the same as the other two in this incredible rock star romance series. Thanks Michelle for giving us a terrific story and one of the most swoonable covers ever!!
