Finally, Danton's story, and Linzi Basset did not disappoint.
Danton is like the patriarch of the Sinclair's, but he has never met his match in a female companion, that is until he meets Vera. This woman awakens something in him, that he cannot deny.
Vera is very vanilla and is wary and skeptical about Danton seeing her as having a submissive side.
This couple embarks on defining their relationship, and experimenting with this unique attraction and connection. But oh my, that foursome made my toes curl!
Is this the end of the Castle Sin books? Read it and see for yourself.

Danton, the Master Panther wants the submissive of his choice and that's the least submissive feeling Vera Thorne. Although Vera denies her inner submissive and feels awkward as a mature woman, she's got Danton pursuing her as his sub. I loved having a mature couple delving into a dom/sub pairing and the shy denial that Vera struggles with. While this couple is working out their situation, there is also the evil leavings of SPEONUS that needs to be dealt with. The matriarch Rebecca Lomas must be dealt with and eliminated, she's just too evil to live. We also have the heartbreaking loss of Peyton and Stone to witness and hope that they can find a way to heal and renew. I was very happy to see that Mongo and Billy have a story to tell too and I can't wait to read all about it. This was another great addition to the Castle Sin stories and I hope they never end.

Such an amazing read. This book has it all grief, fear, mystery, intrigue, passion and love. The hotter than hell sexy scenes don’t hurt either. SPEONUS is still a problem but not one the Sinclair’s can’t handle. I’ve always said Castle Sin was the place to be and that couldn’t be anymore I from the truth. Linzi takes you to a place you could never imagine and would never want to leave.
Danton and Vera embark on their own journey to explore their attraction to each other and building a relationship they both desperately deserve. You will fall in love with these characters and be left squirming in your seat. All at the same time. So grab you beverage of choice and be ready to embark on a journey you will never forget.
Highly recommend this series and author.

5 Bewitching, Captivating & Enthralling Stars!!!
I don’t know where to start after finishing this book. Danton and Vera were perfect, especially together. Their story took me through a wide range of emotions from tears of heartbreak to tears of happiness and so many more.
When I read a book I want one that’s going to make me feel. That’ll make me fall in love with the characters. That keeps me on the edge of my seat and make me forget that I’m not living in their world. That’s what Ms. Basset’s writing does for me and so many others that I’ve talked to. From Stone to Danton you will feel a wide variety of emotions but I promise you you’ll enjoy every single one!!

There is so much to love about this book it’s hard to put into words! I’m a lover of this series and couldn’t wait for Danton’s story. His character has intrigued me from the very beginning. He is described as a hard hearted Dom who feels there is no one for him to build a future with. Then he meets Vera, a surgeon, and he knows she’s the one. But Vera doesn’t feel she is a submissive, so how could it ever work between them?
In usual fashion, this story is full of mystery and intrigue and of course lust and love. Many questions are answered and more are brought to light. You come to see a different side to Danton and it endeared him to me even more. I also loved Vera, because she is a woman and not a girl, and is confident yet soft. These two just meshed perfectly. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to more stories in this incredible series.

Are you freakn kidding me! What an emotional journey, this book hit all the feels and then some. A few times I wanted to throw my kindle across the room, then I was reaching for the Kleenex. I was balling my eyes out through out and was in a 'why' mood after I finished. The author opened up parts of my heart that I thought I locked up; I was yelling at the pages in some instances. The Masters of Castle Sin can be so romantic and aggressive in all that they do. And their submissive give all of themselves without loosing their strength and perseverance. I don't want to give anything away, but one part grabbed me and was waiting for more, it show's how all her Men & Women intertwine in all of her stories. Get this book, you won't regret it!

There's a lot going on in Danton, book 8 of the Castle Sin series by Linzi Basset. It's a love story, a story of a relationship on the rocks and the suspense of tracking down and dismantling the last vestiges of SPEONUS. There's action, suspense, gut wrenching emotions, some oh no and holy crapola moments and of course lots of lusty sizzle.
What I loved most about Danton and Vera's romance was that they were two sexy middle aged adults with lots of life experience between them. Coming "back from the dead" has shown Danton what's missing from his life. That something is love. He reaches out and grabs it, in the form of Dr. Vera Thorne, with both hands. She knows what Danton wants and it both titillates and scares the stuffing out of her. She protests that she's not submissive but he knows otherwise and sets out to show her.

Such emotional roller coaster while reading. Love the Masters of Castle Sin .
Enjoy the sassy Vera, I like she is middle age Lady, finding love when least expected.
My heart broke for Stone and Peyton.
I do believe they will work through it.

Of all my favorite authors, this one has the uncanny ability to take me through the emotional gamut of fear, hope, despair, deep passion, stomach churning grief, and heart melting love. With an underpinning storyline in the series that has so many twists and turns you need a playbook to keep track of the surprises, you will fall in love with the characters and feel invested in their ultimate happiness that the author at times holds just out of reach. With more on the horizon, I can’t wait to see where our intrepid author takes us next. It can’t come soon enough!

The Masters of Castle Sin have done it again. They find a way to creep into your heart and mind. They make you fall in love with them without you even knowing it. I have loved reading about Danton in each of the books. I believe he is the glue that holds everything together for the Sinclairs. Danton and Vera are the perfect couple.
Make sure you have a box of tissues close. Linzi will pull on your heartstrings with all the characters involved in Danton's story.

Linzi Basset did not disappoint ...
This was a brilliant read. The whole Castle Sin series has had this sinister theme running through it and Linzi Basset just tied all the broken pieces from the earlier books into a lovely bow and then slightly unraveled it again to allow for more to come. Keeping me on the edge of my seat, wanting to turn the pages faster but not wanting the story to end. I shall just have to wait with bated breath for the next instalment - hopefully not too long.

Improved grammar - hopefully the actual end of SPEONUS
I have not enjoyed this series as much as the previous 3. I read Linzi's books for 1 reason and it certainly isn't the spy thriller portions. Although, I got into that a little more in this book than some of the others in this series. It also seemed like it took a smaller percentage of the book.
In at least a couple of the books in this series it seemed like the couple was more the side story and didn't have much private time. However, I much preferred the series with the clubs in DC and NYC. They had a lot of good sex scenes. This series, which you probably know by now, has only a few. In fact, it has closer to the number an average romance would have but they are just way less vanilla. Again, if I want a normal romance, I'm not going to read Linzi's books. I want dirty steam from her books and this series has been a huge disappointment in that area after the first 2.
This book was better than the last. There is no angst or drama with Vera or Denton fighting the relationship. Denton pushed Vera harder emotionally speaking than she was expecting but there was no break up or disagreement between them.
Linzi's books have been known to have some pretty bad grammar in them. There are books she tried to force things I guess she felt were typical of Americans that were not that was obnoxious. Luckily, she left that behind with the last series. Her grammar improved altogether and there were only a couple of misused pronouns that I noticed.
Vera is very new to being a sub and the scenes are less intense tan most of the other books from all 4 sex club series. The last book had a scene that passed some lines with me. It even went against the rules the middle two sex club series had in place. It involved puncturing and not with a needle. It seems like there were some other elements that went too far. To each their own but it was surprising because it was what she had previously outlined as too far (in previous related series).
If you are new to this author, read the alpha's cove or devil's cove series first. Unless you prefer less sex scenes.
I absolutely hate what she did to Stone and Peyton in this book. I was highly disappointed in Stone. They're both still grieving from the loss of their unborn child at the hands of the previous secretary of state. It wasn't necessary to compound that as she did here.
The next book is already out. I will probably read it but I don't know if I will read book 10 when it comes out, which I think is supposed to be a second book for Stone and Peyton.

Well I’m not sure how to explain my emotions on this book. I was elated to have Danton alive and well after everything and for him to find his HEA. But once again Linzi has spread my emotions all over the place. She’s just so good at that. I found myself as the story progressed that i was mad, crying, laughing, and just out plain happy for how everything came together and worked out for the couple but she always gives us that part to rip us apart and I found that with Stone and Peyton. My heart is so broken with their story and I will definitely be waiting on the next installment to see if they can rebuild what’s been lost.
Danton and Vera were the perfect couple to add to the Castle. I see them as the parents to the others and the wisdom they should look too. Danton knows what he wants and never once loses sight of it and how he will obtain her. He truly is the ultimate Dom.

Danton’s story is an amazing read. Linzi gives you everything you want in this book. There’s grief,fear,suspense,love,and of course passion. Vera is a strong independent woman, who is convinced she’s not into the submissive lifestyle. But she can’t forget the one night she spent with him. When he knocks on her door, she can’t deny their chemistry.
Plus we have the SPEONUS to deal with who are out to destroy the Sinclair’s. And the evil that they have done to Peyton and Stone. This tore my heart out and Rebecca Lomas deserves everything you gets. I look forward to the next two books, thankful the series isn’t over yet. It has been a phenomenal journey, every single book, no one can take you on a trip like Linzi can. It’s amazing. 💜🔥💜

Wow definitely a 5 stars, Linzi Basset did it again, Danton has a very dark side that he keeps under control until he had to have a brain surgery, meanwhile Vera Savannah’s mother has feelings for him but keep it tight to her chest, she met Danton for the first time when she was taking a BDSM 101 class to understand the her daughter submissive side. Vera is a doctor very prim and proper, clever and was assisting on Danton’s surgery. Here comes Vera mixing feelings towards the lifestyle, the attraction to this mature , possessive, protective and strict Dom who knows what he wants, the really bad guys lurking around, the book has action, twists, hot scenes and very lovable characters, including 01 of the villains that actually has a heart. Loved the book I recommend it if you like a clever plot full of twists, hot scenes and very domineering and caring Alpha males.

Danton. Iam so glad that he has gotten his own story. Starting in book 1 there is something about him that makes you feel safe, protected and loved in a special way. I have loved his character from the beginning and he gets to find and feel love, passion, and is always the Father Figure who loves with all of his heart. Vera is so perfect for him. Their chemistry burns off of the pages and is everlasting. Linzi Basset gives us so much that we crave more with each book. There is love, passion, heartache, thrills, action, adventure, and you once you start reading, you won’t stop until the end. Castle Sin is an amazing, steamy, sensational series. You will fall in love with this as I have. Get your copy and experience for yourself. An exceptional and must, must read.

Thrilling and sexy story!
I loved Danton’s story. Finally he gets to have a happy ending like the rest of the Sinclair crew. It was thrilling, intense, action packed and super sexy. The connection and explosive chemistry he has with Vera could be felt with every word. The two of them have so much passion and such fiery personalities that you can’t help but cheer them on. They made for one entertaining story.
Once again we are given a fantastic story filled with action, mystery, passion and love but we also get an emotional heart aching story that hits us readers hard. I have come to love all of the Sinclair family and when one goes through immense pain and anguish it guts me to the core. Now I am hanging on the edge waiting for the next book to come out.

I loved Danton’s story. Finally he gets to have a happy ending like the rest of the Sinclair crew. It was thrilling, intense, action packed and super sexy. The connection and explosive chemistry he has with Vera could be felt with every word. The two of them have so much passion and such fiery personalities that you can’t help but cheer them on. They made for one entertaining story.

Loved the rest in the series, this one disappointed
I waited so long for Danton! Loved his character in the other books. But when it came time for his story, it’s like the author just wanted to get his book over with. She never took the time to develop the relationship between he and Vera. She never really developed Vera’s character at all, especially not the submissive side of her, making it impossible to believe she really was a submissive. The author also spent too much time revisiting Stone and Peyton’s story. She’s going to give them a second book, so she should have made this about Danton and Vera.

This is such a bittersweet book, it is wonderful that Danton and Vera get their happy ever after, and it is great that SPEONUS seems to have been eliminated but it is so sad that Stone and Peyton are facing such tragedy. I cried at the beginning, the middle and the end of this story, I think it is the most emotional of the series and I am so glad Linzi added the ‘what’s next’ section or I would have been devastated.

Love that these two found each other and can have a new life together, Both are strong and independent and hard working and Vera has a special spot in my heart for her care of Danton when he was in hospital she went above and beyond getting her man o his feet again even though she would never admit it. They must fight for freedom from SPEONUS ,with them always on the backs of the men of Castle sin one can only hope for happy endings

I can’t say enough about this series, I live for the next book and was so sorry to see it end! You cannot imagine my response when I see two more books are added to this Castle Sin story. Amazing book!!
Omg! This book is so well written that you will live the story as you read it. Mystery and suspense along with plenty of action keeps this story moving at a fast pace. Add in some hot sexy BDSM sex that will make you squirm in your seat just makes this a book that you can't stop reading once you start. I totally recommend reading this book!!

Love this author and loved this book
Book 8 of the Castle Sin series is Danton and Vera’s story and it is a wonderful read. It’s full of all our favorite characters, an intricate story line, bad guys, action, suspense, and kink. This woman really knows how to write an engaging story. And best of all it’s not the last book — yeah!

Danton deserves his happily ever after which he finds in the company of the sassy sub Vera. Their relationship nade me feel thousands of emotions from happiness to sadness and even frustration but all these emotions are worth it.

My Favorite!
Danton is by far my favorite Master of Castle Sin. He is everything I would want -kind, committed, loving and one hot dom. So many questions were answered but many more not answered. I’m so glad the Maters of Castle Sin will continue on.

Wow just wow
Wonderful book. It is hard to put in words what this book and whole set means to me. I am about to read book 9 and 10. I guess no work gets done today but that is ok. Just wow I have just added to my favorite books list.
