"I wanted him to eat me up and make a mess of every inch of me."

I think that this was a full-length book instead of a novella I would probably enjoy it more. I know that is difficult for authors to fully develop a story (especially a taboo one) in a matter of just a little more than 100 pages, but I couldn’t find myself enjoying it.
Arabella is forced by her parents to attend college when all she wants is to travel around the world. She moves in with her dad’s stepbrother that she doesn’t know very well because they only met a few times over holidays, and she’s instantly attracted by him as much as he is by her.
I think that Arabella was really immature, I couldn’t connect with her at all. I respect that she wanted to travel instead of going to college, but her behavior was really childish, at least for me. As for Willem I can’t say much, I didn’t like or dislike him. I didn’t understand how they came close to each other and I didn’t feel their chemistry before they became intimate.
Overall, a pretty flat, taboo story that I couldn’t enjoy and I only finished because it was a short read.
