I bought this book shortly before Passover but didn't end up getting to it right away. I just finished it today (early October), but it was still really meaningful. I thought I knew the Passover story really well, considering that I've read it more times than I can count, and I taught it to my students every year for nearly two decades. But I still learned a lot about the deeper meaning behind each plague and Passover itself. I highlighted lots of details in the book that I want to remember, and I plan to refer back to it whenever I teach about the Ten Plagues or the Passover again. I hope this author writes more devotional books—I'll definitely buy them!
