“Survive as a horror game maid”
Horror Romance
- All pretty and beautiful things are poisonous mushrooms. You can't touch it and you can't eat it.
- My throat burned. A thirst that doesn't seem to be quenched no matter how much water you pour in. I looked at her shadow obsessively.
- I felt a hunger that I had never experienced before in my life. I wanted to hold on. I wanted to brainwash her, tie her up, and keep her next to me so that she wouldn't leave without saying a word again.
- When I thought of you leaving, I became fierce like a tyrant. Maybe the fear was so great that I couldn't believe you when you said you wouldn't go. Just as the words of affection felt false, it felt like a promise that could easily be torn down like a sand castle.
- There was nothing to be afraid of in this world. Even if I wasn't afraid of death, there was nothing that could bind me with fear. But before I knew it, I became afraid that you were afraid of me.
- Hilda, I wonder. What a beautiful color it would be if your blood and mine were mixed.
- I lightly tapped my fingertips. I wanted to leave some kind of mark, but I didn't want to hurt you.
- Deep night. I wanted to stay by her side as it got deeper, but she insisted that we should go back to the inn. The devil meekly retreated. Carefully, gently, and affectionately, so as not to frighten her. I calmed and suppressed my heart that was becoming increasingly i mpatient.

“I love you.” “I don’t understand.” AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH
Okay but seriously - a novel that questions if the "devil" just needed love all along, the descent of a "moral" protagonist as the lines between life and death, good and evil get more blurred, redemption through each other but damning each other and everybody else in the process of their love. Set with a backdrop of a gothic manor, this novel was bound to capture my interest.

October 5, 2025How to Survive as a Maid in a Horror Game
I read the first season (50 chapters) of the webcomic and it is good -- 3 stars I'd say -- but it feels like it is missing so much. To find out that the novel portrays things differently and has more emotion makes sense.
So, I am not going to continue the manghwa, but if ever find a way to read the webnovel in English, I will probably give it a try.

بنتنا ربنا كرمها ووقعت في لعبة، وأول ما تقع في لعبة تقع في دور خدامة في قصر الوريث إللي فيه سيريال كيللر لابسه شيطان.
القصة ضحك بس xD
وأنا نقطة ضعفي أي سيناريو يكون فيه سخرية من الكليشيهات.
لحد دلوقتي مفيش رومانسية ظاهرة الحقيقة بس الكوميديا قايمة بالواجب وزيادة. المانهوا لسه جديدة يعتبر وبتنزل لسه مخلصتش.
