We’re best friends. The original forbidden fruit.
We have to stop this before it wrecks us both.

Jo
I moved away from my best friend when I was fifteen. It nearly killed me.
A decade later, he disappeared after a devastating Formula 1 crash left him a shattered, broken, husk of a man.

I had no choice.
His demons control him.

My wagon has always been hitched to Logan Kendrick, Australia’s sexy hero F1 driver, my boss, and best friend since we were kids. Whether he chooses to drag me up into heaven, or down into darkness, is entirely irrelevant, because that’s where you’ll find me. Like a pathetic fangirl, I’ve been hopelessly in love with my best friend since I was six years old, and he will never know it.

Logan
I’m the rookie son of a legend, a three-time world driver champion. I get by on a charming smile and sarcastic Aussie wit, but I will never measure up. We all know it.

I’m a murderer. Nothing I do changes the fact that I killed a man. Doesn’t matter if it was an accident. I deserve the nightmares, the guilt. Forgive me, mate, if I go off the rails from time to time.

I’ve been in love with my sports physiologist, my best friend, Jo, for as long as I can remember. Regardless of how my body reacts as she slathers me in massage oil every day, how inappropriate it is, I can’t live without her. And she will never know it.

I have no choice.
Her future isn’t with me.

I have to let her go. And it’s going to be the death of me.

Told in both POVs, never read the first story of this series but I have read Kat’s other series Fast, and I did love those and this story captured my attention right from the start. I can’t wait to read more and find out what the third one will put the Tyrant aka Maddox down some flights of stairs because that man or monster as he was called needs to be taken down in my opinion but what is the deal with Lexi and him and why did Lexi say that the racing garage was hers???

Best friends that stayed together 90% of their childhood, then best friends via long distance that became friends when it was convenient abroad. Then best friends with an employee/employer-physiotherapist/Athlete relationship for a few years. But they both secretly in love with the other but was too stubborn to act on it, well until their competitiveness did it for them. Logan is the son of a 3 time World Champion F1 driver so he’s all about winning. Jo ‘Josephine’ daughter of (not spoiling it) has her own competitive about winning but will these two hard headed competitors fight for the other when heads are up someone’s butts or will they both hurt the other and break this friendship and lovers apart for good??

Sweet and emotional!

Logan and Jo have been best friends since childhood and they've always been really open with each other but both hold one secret. They are madly in love with each other but neither know the other feels that way because both are afraid that admitting the feelings would destroy their friendship.

The dynamic and chemistry between Logan and Jo is amazing and the way they are together is so sweet, cute and there's some playfulness between them. Logan is going through a tough time at the moment after an accident that happened during a race that he blames himself for and doesn't think he deserves happiness. They have been each others rock for a long time and both keep being there for each other when things are hard and I love how Jo helps him with this as well. She's so precious by the way!

This was my first Formula 1 romance and I absolutely loved that aspect of it. And the fact that Jo is Logan's physio was pretty cool and I definitely had moments where I was laughing out loud. You might be like girl, what can be that funny about it? I'd simply say, just read the book because it was a time.

Wrecked has both emotional and funny moments, and I loved it!

"Be good to me, Logan, because I'm giving you the entirety of my heart to keep safe in your hands. And I'm going to take care of yours for the rest of my life."

*I received this book via BookSirens but the thoughts are completely my own.*

If I could give this a billion stars, I would. I thought I loved the first book in this series, but this one blows it out of the park. Best friends to lovers is swiftly becoming a new favourite trope and this book is a perfect example of why. I love their dynamic, I love the banter but also the serious moments they share. I adore that they notice the little details about each other and the grand gestures as well. This book isn't just following their relationship, but also all the fun nerdy things about Formula 1 and the mechanics of the cars, which is amazing to see! Jo and Logan are so amazing to follow around, not just as a couple but as individual people with their own baggage that they have to learn to navigate. I laughed and I cried throughout this book. Those massage table scenes? Phenomenal. The smut scenes? Mindblowing. I am in awe of this book. Genuine awe.

TWs: PTSD, past car accident leading to death, alcohol consumption, vomiting, strained family relationships, gun use (in controlled setting), ref to bullying of disabled character in past, death of father (before book), ref to COPD

Kat Freaking Ransom is freaking awesome. I laughed, I swooned, I overheated, and I cried. I’m a pile gushy mush after reading Jo and Logan’s story. Wrecked is so well-written and heartfelt that I personally felt every emotion on the page. I want to be simultaneously adopted by the Kendriks and by the Brennans. I adored this book, and honestly I’m both happy and mad that I just now found out about this ridiculously talented author because now I’m about to binge her back catalogue.

This is the first book I've read by the author and it will not be my last one. Logan and Jo’s story was amazing. I laugh because of their banter, then I'll cry because it got emotional. Definitely a roller coaster of emotions this one. They just gripped me from the start until the finish. Highly recommended!

Ok, so I enjoyed a lot of the book. I love a best friends to lovers trope, especially when it’s lifelong best friends who’ve been glued to each other’s side since they were young children. It adds a level of joy and sweetness that you can’t help but fall for. Kat is a talented writer, and her other books are some of my absolute favorites. I just have a few issues with this one that I NEED to get off my chest.

1. Josephine was incredibly judgmental and catty throughout the book. We all have our moments, especially when the guy you’re madly in love with is dating other women. So, I get why she was upset. What I don’t get is why she would take that out solely on these other women and not the man she’s supposedly in love with. Reducing women to “big tits” is childish and gross. This isn’t high school, you’re a grown woman, and you don’t own this man just because you’re secretly crushing on him. I can’t stand it when women just constantly attack other women who haven’t done anything wrong. If it was just her lashing out in bad moments I’d get it, we’ve all been there, but it was never ending throughout the entire book. Like, girl….go to therapy.

2. If you’re going to make a church part of a plot point, can you at least google it first? Mormons do not have pastors, they do not exist within the church at all. The closest thing they have is a bishop, but they do not give sermons. That term is not used either. They are allowed to drink caffeine, it’s only tea and black coffee specifically that they abstain from. It’s actually a running joke that a mormon has a Diet Coke in the morning when everyone else is sipping their coffee. Also, Mormon’s don’t approach sin the way Jo’s mother did, in fact that part of the book was REALLY inaccurate. A truly “righteous” mormon mother would NEVER cut off her child in that way. The church pretty openly forbids it, and in fact the way that Jo’s mother spoke to her would be something the church would take great issue with. Of course this doesn’t dismiss the array of similar experiences I’m sure members have had that I would never dismiss, but this just came off really poorly. It’s hard to describe how off base that part was unless you have firsthand knowledge of mormonism, because it is a very flawed faith that can make people feel badly when members talk down to them, but that is nowhere close to how they go about it. The thing with Mormons is that when they do lash out at you, it happens in a way that almost seems like it isn’t happening. They bake you a casserole and stop by unannounced with a homemade bookmark that has book of mormon passages on it and you don’t realize they just metaphorically spit in your eye until you think about it after the fact. I say this because their kind demeanor is the very thing that makes it so diabolical. It’s their trademark, the thing that differentiates them from a lot of other faiths. They are not direct about it, they’re passive aggressive and self important, and they don’t just make you feel like shit, they lovebomb you to the point that you almost feel guilty for not embracing what they’re saying. The tragedy of it is that many Mormons are truly good people with a genuine desire to help, they just don’t realize that the direction they’re taking is so damaging. It can be very militant at times, and views about sex and relationships are very over the top. It’s like any other Christian religion in that way, but the way it was portrayed in the book was REALLY off base and came across more as evangelical, which Mormons are absolutely not. They don’t believe in heaven and hell in the traditional sense, but rather kingdoms of heaven divided by the righteous. They also abide by the Book of Mormon more than the traditionally used Bible, which takes a very different approach. Anyways, some of this is not easily available information, I get it, but a lot of it is. A simple google search would’ve rectified a lot of these assumptions and I say this as someone raised in that church. As someone who is now a grown, gay, feminist, pro choice, and church critical woman. Someone with trauma from that upbringing. If you are going to use religious pain and intolerance as a plot point, you need to do your research, otherwise it comes across as dismissive and ignorant. I am sure it seems like I’m being harsh or annoying with the specifics, but those of us who’ve come out of cult-like environments get really tired of this shit. People love to use our trauma for entertainment value without bothering to take the time to accurately describe it. We get branded with stereotypes and assumptions and it’s kind of exhausting, that’s all. I will hop down from my soap box now.

In the very first chapters of the book, I honestly wasn't sure that I would like Jo. Once I realized the reason she was written in the manner she was introduced, it made sense and fell into place perfectly for me. By the fifth chapter, I loved Jo. The same kind of happened for me with Logan. I was a bit skeptical over him at first, but by the end of the first chapter with his point of view, I knew I would love him.

And trust me, I did!

One thing I really liked about this book was how realistic the characters were. They were in the real world and had real problems. It did have the romance and angst that makes it fiction, but to me it was written in a way that made it believable. Like, yes, this could probably happen in real life.

Jo and Logan came out of the pages, charged and everything you want in a love story, with the drips of realism sprinkled in to create something relatable, funny, and honestly hands down amazing.

There were so many cute moments that I loved, and other moments that had my heart hurting in my chest. That isn't a problem for me, though, because I absolutely adore it when a book has the power to make me feel a multitude of things; the good, the bad, the ugly, the sexy, the cringy, etc. And this book more than delivered on all counts.

Another thing I was super intrigued by was the hints about Maddox's book. I know it's coming soon, and I hope that soon actually means soon because holy hell, I need his book! I have a strong feeling that it's going to be super hot, intense, forbidden, and hair pulling anticipating feels. God, I am totally reading his book; I cannot express how much I am going to devour that book.

He and Lexi? I just know it's going to be amazing.

Okay, so, I have read Formula 1 books before, but I think this one takes the cake for the best. Both of the main characters had enough push and pull that the blame didn't reside primarily on one person, which I appreciate because I feel it creates a balance in the relationship. Like I said, each had their own problems that they needed to deal with and learn from on their own, which is why I loved how the book progressed so much. What Ransom created to develop these characters is gold.

Steamy, sweet, realistic, lovable, angsty, heartfelt, driven, thorough. Really I could go on about this, but I think you get the picture. Long story short, I fucking loved this book and everything about it.

This is my first book from her, and I look forward to reading more.

Jo and Logan have always been best friends, and now coworkers—Jo being Logan’s physiotherapist while he’s a racing star. They spent everyday together as kids, and they shared every secret, except one. Neither of them see the other as just a friend anymore, but neither of them want to risk the relationship they already have by saying that out loud.

I really enjoyed this book. It was definitely a little longer than I’m used to for e-novels, but that’s not exactly a downside. Jo and Logan’s story definitely packed a punch—there were times where I couldn’t help but laugh and love the relationship they had, and other times where I was sitting there crying only because of how badly I wanted them to work out. Prepare for an emotional few hours, my friends.

As a duo, I loved Jo and Logan. Their characters complimented each other so well, and their closeness was evident even from the first few pages. I loved them as friends, and I loved them even more as partners.

Logan himself was an incredibly captivating character. He has trauma in his past that he’s reluctant to let go of, and it definitely causes some drama in his life. I love the way Ransom wrote it into the book; the way he reacts to things and moments felt very real and in-line with his character.

I think my one negative for this book is the ending, or at least the last little bit of the novel. Somewhere along the line, it kind of shifted from a realistic and heart-jerking read into something a little more far fetched and cliche. BUT while it was a switch, it definitely didn’t ruin the book for me. It kind of felt like a little bit of the drama there had been thrown in just for the sake of adding drama, if that makes sense.

While it definitely made me roll my eyes a little, I didn’t put the book down at all. Oh no—I read right through to the end, because I was hooked on their story too much to even fathom the idea of not knowing how it finished.

All in all, I’m rating Wrecked four stars. I think I just had to take away that last star for the sake of my personal opinion with the climax of the story—I’m just the kind of reader who likes realistic drama in my romance books. BUT I think it’s definitely worth a read all the same. The characters are captivating, their story is beautiful, and it will throw you through a whole ringer of emotions all the way up to the last page.

I loved the first book in this series by Kat Ransom, she created a very real world within the glamorous international circus that is Formula 1 racing with well formed characters you can’t help but get involved with. This second outing is even better than the first.
This is Logan and Jo’s story. As kids growing up in Australia, they were Yowie and Shark Biscuit, best of mates who did everything together, always seeing their futures as intrinsically linked. His Father, a racing legend, her Mother, part of his support team; their lives were pulled apart as teens when her Mother up and moved them to the States.
Years later Logan has a horrific accident on the racing circuit that results in a fatality and the cause of his nightmares.
The story is set in his rookie year with the Donington Team, having invited Jo to work for him as his sports physiologist, but their history is told through flash backs that are beautifully interwoven through the present-day events.
In different ways they both lost themselves in the years where they lost each other. This story takes them both on a journey where they learn to cope, to grieve and then to mend and ultimately to grow – in a way, to bring them back to being Yowie and Shark Biscuit.
I couldn’t put this book down as I went through every joy, every success and every heart wrenching moment with them.
You don’t need to be a racing fan to enjoy this story, I am and I loved it. Can’t wait for Book #3!!

P.S. Like every dedicated Marvel fan knows you need to hang around for the post credit scene, in this case it’s the extended epilogue – so, so worth it! No cheating though and going there first!!

“Wrecked” is book 2 in the Donnington Racing Series. I never read the first one, but that certainly didn’t affect my enjoyment of this one at all. Josephine (Jo) and Logan have been best friends since childhood, except for a time period when her erratic mother forced distance between them. They each had a sense of the inevitability of the connection between them. Through the ebb and flow of life, each also pretended there was no yearning to be more than friends because of the fear of risking that precious friendship.

I thought this story started a little slow, and professional race car driver Logan initially irritated me. If you have the same reaction, please hang in there! The story is skillfully constructed utilizing dual POV and reveals things that have taken place in the past. It’s a technique that could be confusing, but in this book it’s done in such a way that it really helps to build understanding of why the characters are where they are in their relationship, as well as escalating the dramatic intensity of the story.

There are some very funny moments in this book. There are also some truly heartbreaking things that were surprisingly emotional. I don’t like to give away any spoilers, and there are so many potential ones in this book that it really presents a challenge! When Jo and Logan get together (it’s a romance underneath it all so that’s not a spoiler), they are a high-octane, combustible match. There are twists and turns that I never expected, and a beautifully creative ending.

This is a book that will sweep you up into its pages and hold you there long after you've reached "The End".

"Since I was old enough to love him, all I've wanted to do was take care of Logan."

Jo & Logan's story begins in childhood. Both only children of parents who work together, their lives are closely intertwined in a way that most best friends can only hope to imagine. They know almost everything about each other and even through distance, there is a strong tether connecting them. But as a past tragedy lurks and looms over their new relationship, the tether seems as though it may snap, severing an almost 2-decade relationship.

There is no doubt that these two people are in love with each other. You will aww and sigh as Jo & Logan fight to give each other the best versions of themselves. And they do fight hard. There's very little that they do apart without consulting each other, despite the demons plaguing them. And through it all, they stay true to themselves and to each other.

"My best friend... The one I fell in love with... The keeper of my heart, every one of my secrets. The one who makes me a better man..."

I recommend this read several times over. It's one of those books that has some hard topics that don't find a magical, overly pretty fix by the end of it, yet the HEA for the couple is so satisfying. You will love this book and laugh as Jo & Logan banter, and have a case of the sniffles while they hurt.

Grab your copy - you'll especially love the extended epilogue!

I did not want this one to end. I really enjoyed Logan and Jo. From ready the first book in this series, you knew these two would end up together, but I was drawn in by the story and what these two have been through together.

Logan's dad was a World Class F1 driver and Jo's mom was his physio. She had no dad, so when her mom and Logan's dad traveled for races, she would stay at Logan's. They went though puberty together, were each other's best friends and just inseparable. When Logan's dad retired, Jo and her mom left Australia and moved to Utah and she was unhappy to be apart. Jo followed in her mom's footsteps and went to school for Physical training and worked for a pro hockey team until Logan called her to be his physio when he made it to F1.

Jo was more than just his physio, she was also his personal assistant and best friend. She picked up the pieces of Logan's life as he had a bad accident the year before and has not been able to "get his head out of his ass" since.

I love the banter between these two, always made me smile when they picked on each other in a verbal exchange, but then they were the first ones there when the other needed a shoulder to cry on. When they had their fight and separated for a bit, they never stopped challenging each other......although this time it was over Instagram or interview's for the whole world to see.

This book is easily one of my favorites. I never wanted it to end and I have no idea what to read next as I just want more Jo and Logan!!!

So I really liked the first book in this series and I'd thought the same for this one.. I'm not saying I didn't like but it wasn't the same.. For one, this book is really, really long and took me a few days to read it. I liked the concept of this book. I mean friends to lovers especially with a broken hero is one of my favs to read but I think honestly I just got bored and there wasn't enough to hold my attention. Logan was great character but there were a lot at stake for him. He was in his rookie status, with pressure to do well from his dad, sponsors and his team. He's also dealing with the grief of causing a fatal accident on the track. His head is messed up for real.. Jo, is his phsyio and best friend. She keeps him in shape and makes sure his diet is in tack. He relies on her way to much and in turn, there's some major coddling happening. These two have been together since they were born. Jo moved away at 6, thanks to her crazy mom and tore them apart. They still kept in touch over the years. These two are inseparable but there comes a time where they need to take care of themselves. The romance between them was great but it wasn't enough to keep them going. They, especially Logan, had to confront his demons and heal. He needed to do things without Jo for once. There's some tough love in this and it's needed. The concept was great and so were the characters but the length of this book was what killed me.

Another book by Kat Ransom that does. not. fail. to deliver. I love that the female leads are strong, in fact almost all the females that who are integral parts of the inter-woven book series, are very strong. They have a way of just being themselves, and makes the men just fall head over heels over them. There's always witty banter, so serious drama, and usually part that will make me cry (but I'm just a crier). That tells me that I'm invested in the book and the characters.

I was rooting for Jo and Logan from the get go. I love that I got to see a glimpse of their history, and how they came to be who they are, and why they love each other so much. Jo is a phenomenal female lead who will not put up with Logan's shit, and will put him into check like no one else can - with love and a lot of attitude. Logan is just doesn't know what to do with himself, and all that he feels for Jo.

It was a great story that I just couldn't read fast enough. The twists and turns kept me on my toes, and the world building was once again, on point. I laughed, I cried, I didn't want to put the book down until it was over. I love Kat Ransom's writing style and the p.o.v.'s make it so much easier to follow along. The principle and periphery characters are always well presented, and sets the stage for great spin-offs for the series. I can't wait to see the rest of this series!

I have loved all of Kat Ransom’s books and this one I think, is Kat at her best. This is Logan and Jo’s story. They have been best friends since childhood in Australia. Logan’s dad is a 3 time F1 Champion and Jo’s mom is his personal trainer. Logan got into racing at an early age with the intent of following in his dad’s footsteps. The 2 best friends were separated in their teens when Jo’s single mom moved them to Utah. Both of them are heartbroken and Logan promises that when he gets his F1 contract, he will hire Jo and they will be together again. Jo’s family dynamic was so sad and the trauma that Logan went through resulting in debilitating issues was truly heartbreaking. If you like books that run the gamut on the feels, with a beautiful story between characters that are so endearing, this is a definite must read. If you haven’t read the first book in the Donington Racing Series, Lights Out, I would recommend reading it first to get the most out of the series, but it is not absolutely necessary. I can’t wait for the third book in this series, which will be Maddox and Lexi’s book.
Note to author: please tell me you are going to write a series with the Brennan Brothers. They are awesome! I was provided an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I received this free eARC novel from the author and BookSirens. This is my honest review.

I have read all of Kat Ransom's novels so far, and they just get better and better! I love this racing world she has created and her characters are phenomenal!

Jo is one tough chick. She's also pretty impressive being able to not give into her crush for so many years. I don't think I could have done that in her shoes.

Logan is going through a lot of internal struggle, but the way he feels for Jo has never wavered. Jo tries everything in her power to fix everything, something Logan appreciates with everything in him.

Maddox is a meddlesome full. I see what he did, but he was a jerk. He could have done that in so many better ways, but I'm sure he's going to get his comeuppance in his own book.

Also, I NEED Lexi's brothers books. I know they aren't F1 drivers, and so far Kat Ransom has only written racing stories, but I KNOW she would write amazing novels about all of those brothers and that is my hopes and dreams that those are in the works.

I'm so grateful that I discovered Kat Ransom through BookSirens and that I've been able to read all of her books. She has now become an instant author that I will automatically snatch up! Can't wait for the next one!

Jo and Logan had been best friends and loved each other since they were six years old.
They did everything together and she lived with him and his mum whilst his dad Travis was travelling with F1 and her mum who was his physio.
But they were ripped apart when his dad retired from the circuit, her mum had moved them to Utah from Australia. She had gotten heavily involved with a fanatical church. Not liking her mums life choices and not being particularly close made it easy for Jo to move out as soon as she turned 18.
Logan was able to bring Jo onto his team as his physio it should have been a happy reunion but Logan isn’t the same man. A tragic accident that had resulted in the death of fellow F1 driver at Silverstone had changed Logan and as their relationship was initially everything they’d ever wanted, the anniversary of the accident was slowly turning Logan against everything and everyone including Jo.
They’d promised to be best friends forever but in order to be able to do that they had to be apart helping themselves to find their way without one another for the second time. But they both had a giant hole where they knew their soulmate should be.
This is the second book in this excellent ‘Flixara F1 docuseries’ spinoff series. It’s well written, compelling and addictive. You don’t want to put the book down. Thoroughly enjoyed the characters and their complex and heartbreaking relationship. Can’t wait for the next book....Fantastic.

This is the 2nd book in this great series and is Logan and Jo’s story. These two were best friends since childhood who did everything together, and Jo moves away due to her mom’s career. Logan is a F1 driver who due to a devastating accident which resulted in a fatality and leaving him haunted by nightmares. Jo is a sports phycologist who has worked for Logan since he was a rookie, and they have both been hiding for years that they love each other. Their story is told by flitting between the past and present to get a better understanding of their backgrounds. This is a well written flawless story which is heartwrenching, emotionally charged, and with drama, heartbreak, witty banter, and is a humorous and entertaining poignant love story, which had me totally enthralled throughout this addictive page turner, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Jo & Logan are best friends, despite the fact that she had to move away from him when she was 15 years old, she'll still always have his back. Logan is battling some serious demons that have him feeling like he'll never be good enough like his father because of his past. These two are secretly in love with the other, but no one is brave enough to cross that line since they don't want to ruin the relationship they have. I can't seem to stay away from the secret feelings in books even though they tend to have me trying to pull my hair out from the push & pull that follows. Wrecked is one of those stories that provide all the chaotic emotions to make me crazy. The frustration (like I said above), the angst of past demons causing turmoil, heat because those sparks are always flying, and situations that had no pat answers making it realistic in my eyes. You don't want to miss out on Wrecked so get to cone clicking! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I love a good spicy F1 romance where the author understands racing and Kat never disappoints me.
Childhood friends and secret crushs who now work together in the paddock - YAY!
I found this a fast read, and whilst at times actually days were slow and covered multiple chapters I found myself flying through this story.
I really invested in the characters and whilst the MMC could use a good smack up the back of head occasionally even his oafishness was endearing most of the time.
I did wonder half way through where we were going as everything seemed to be wrapping up tidily but then there was a twist. And boy did I not see that coming!
I do wish the mother was explained more (her personality transplant doesnt make a lot of sense) but this story wasnt really about her.
Love the friendships in this series.
Can we please have a series for the Irish Brothers! I would demolished.
Over all good solid read that kept me engaged.
I do hope the third book comes out about Maddox and Iris.

Kat Ransom does a wonder job of grabbing a hold of your heart and making it beat a little faster. Reading this book had me riding an emotional rollercoaster but worth the ride. This friends to lovers story will have you feeling all warm and fuzzy but you will also need a few tissues.
Jo and Logan have been friends all their lives but were separated for a few years. Logan I'd a F1 race car driver and Jo is his physiotherapist, but she is more than that. They have a history and they secretly love each other.
What happens when they act on it? Will they stay friends? Will they break each other's hearts? Can their friendship survive what life throws at them?
Wrecked is definitely a book that should be added to your TBR list.

Two best friends working together and finding happily ever after with some dramas in-between.

F1 racer Logan and Jo grew up together and been best friends ever since they were 6 years old. They were inseparable and they were so happy until Jo's mom move back to Utah from Australia. They promised each other they will visit each other but his racing schedule and her mother's weird relation to her religion prohibited her to travel back. They started writing letters to each other. (One of the favorite part of the book.)

After 8 years apart, finally Logan ask Joe to be his physio. Now they work together but Joe has been wanting more than friendship and she didn't want to lose her friendship with Logan.

Logan and Joe love each other and once they crossed that line, everything was going great until Logan's demon keeps creeping back and it threatens their relationship. Plus one of their boss meddling with them, it won't be easy.

It is emotional read from beginning to end. Story draws you from beginning to the very end. Author does great job describing F1 scenes and it makes you feel like you are there.

I have read her other series and it was about F1 drivers and this didn't disappoint. I can't wait to read the other series.

Logan and Jo were childhood friends who we’re inseparable until Jo’s mother moved her from Australia to America. Fast forward 9 years and they are back together, Jo working for Logan as his personal sports physiologist.
Neither had forgotten each other and the attraction is as strong as ever but due to things they both went through, misunderstandings, and a fear of things changing it takes them a while to admit their feeling.
This book is intense and will have you gripped and you will feel you are in the F1 paddock or training room with them so good is the attention to detail. I have loved all this series so far.

Honestly, Kat’s books just keep getting better and better. I liked the discussions around some of the darker sides of F1, the relationships the drivers have with one another, and legacy drivers. I also appreciated the training and preparation aspect put into it and, as always, I’d like more race scenes, but the rookie podiums and wins were fun and I look forward to more. I think that there has been a great improvement in the development of the side characters. I’m very excited to read Lexi’s book when it comes out as I love her personality and spark and her family. The friends to lovers was fun too. Overall another fun read that’s helping me get through the summer break.

I don't cry over scenes I read in books. At least I don't remember doing so. There was one chapter, one letter written in this book that brought me to tears because it was so beautiful. I've enjoyed several books by this author, but none have been so enticing as this one.

You'll laugh, maybe cry, probably fall a little in love with these characters. I hated when the book came to an end. This book is part of a series, but it completely stands alone.

Wrecked is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. This is Logan and Jo’s story. They have been besties since they were little kids and as they grew older they each realized that they were in love with the other but were convinced that the other didn’t feel the same. They were actually a little obsessed with the other and each had emotional issues that they needed to work out. This story annoyed me, made me laugh and cry... so ultimately it was a great read for me

Wrecked is the second book in the Donnington Racing Series. I am trying to figure out which book was better. They both are AWESOME! You don't have to know anything about racing to enjoy this book, but I do and I did! I laughed and cried while reading it. Jo and Logan have been friends since childhood. Both pretended there was no attraction because of wanting to remain friends. Please read this book. You will not be sorry. It is a stand alone, no you don't need to read book 1.

An overall good plot. I like the characters and the depth/history/trauma they have. For me, it was not a 5-star as the book deteriorated as the story progressed (I can't find the words to explain why, but I think it started with Jo's sudden, impulsive departure). Additionally, time seems to be warped - it goes from August (Chapter 37)-> September (C38) -> August (C39) in 5 months (it was mentioned somewhere). The time warp doesn't take away from the story content, but it was confusing.

The title is wholly appropriate let me tell you. Jo and Logan have been best friends since they were six years old and in love for much of it too, but life and being afraid has made them stayed that way.
It's engaging, has drama, evokes emotion, and it's impossible not to believe they belong together.

Kat Ransom has the ability to dance with words, creating great flowing visuals.

The story of Logan and Josephine being no different. Although the friends to lovers trope is not new, in Wrecked it feels fresh with a depth I have rarely come across. Although the "I don't want to ruin what we have" push and pull is present, it is the other character growth tension that is front and center for this couple.

Logan really is the perfect book boyfriend and Jo deserves the happiness he heaps on her.

I have one warning, that is also a bit of a complaint: don't start this book if you don't have a full day to finish it. The writing is addictive, but the book IS long. I do think, even with the beautiful prose, that the book can be cut by at least 20%. That said, read the eplilogues, it is worth it!
