This was one of the first books I bought on the internet way back in the early nineties. I'd read it in my library (which no longer has a copy) and fell in love with the gentle, loving story and the adorable, textured artwork. The illustrations never vary from a young mom in the early fifties and a blanket-covered (SPOILER!!!) child. As timeless as Guess How Much I Love You, this one shouldn't be forgotten.
