Okay so a bitttt disappointed in most of the stories BUT i will say Jasira and Pharaoh’s story, Pick Up Your Feelings and Lost One were my favs. I’m a bit dissatisfied in On It, for such an empowering song, the story just didn’t do it justice for me.

Good anthology
Pick up your feelings was the perfect story to reel me into the anthology. I am glad we meet Symphony when she is fed up with the bs. Terrence really played himself. Ken was smart. Put it Down was hard to put down! Pha and Bunny had some explosive scenes that would ignite anyone’s flame! It was puzzling that she hated the BM’s instability but did the same thing. I know she realizes it yet she continues to do it. I doubt if Kir were her biological child that she would be like that which bugs me. I can’t wait to see their full book to read more on their dynamic. On it started off with a bang I just don’t enjoy reading romance involving cops right now. Lost one drew me in from the start. They way Kenya lost Kwame was the biggest fumble and it was hard to feel sympathy for her. Backing up and seeing how they got to that point provided understanding but still no sympathy. She’s Rich, Bihh started super slow for me but once Bak got his hooks into Maysin things picked up speed. I love seeing a boss pursue his woman! A girl like me was the perfect end to the anthology. We don’t always get to see how life is after the girl leaves the cheater and renters the dating world while taking the time to heal. Kam showed this well and it was no turning back after Kysen entered the picture!

This was perfection!!
I loved how each story flowed with a song from Heaux Tales!! Each one centered on someone giving up and finding love and dating only to try something different and find what they were looking for. I'm excited for Jasira and Pharaoh's story!! All of the stories had a perfect mix of heartbreak, uncertainty, dedication, steamy sex scenes, and most important, love, whether with someone else or love for yourself in the case of Kwame and Kenya's story. Trust me, you will love each story,!!

What a great Collaboration of authors
I really in enjoy this book, it had all different kinds of love stories to read. I have found me some new authors that I can read there books now. Also the poetry was beautiful before every story and in some of the stories. If you have not read this book you should go read it

I'm feeling heaux-like
After reading the collection of stories; I'm feeling rather heauxish in deference to the books title. The authors took readers on a short journey with each story, ending with hopes of more. My only.complaint - I wish there were more pages to turn.

Enjoyed
I enjoyed all of these well written, short, interesting stories. Some would make great standalone. This book is definitely worth the read and I found some authors that I haven't read, but will be checking out their work.

Great Read
Each story was exhilarating and fed the soul in a different way. These authors are outstanding and I can't wait to read more of their work. I'll definitely be looking for the continuation of C. Monet's book. Wish each story was being continued.

Symphony man was whew honey in a bad way. But thank goodness for Ken coming around at the time he did to protect and be the one she needed. But idk if I could have moved on with Ken due to how he set to meet her. But her so-called friend Careesha ugh at its finest. I enjoy their story.

I enjoyed this collection of shorts. Some of the stories were a teasers while others were simply short reads. The story by J. Chary, Covered In His Love, I downloaded the full length story.

So they were all good. Only one through me for a loop because I was expecting at least happy for now endings and that one didn't have it. Other that, I looked all the other.

Good read. I like the different stories written by the writers. I always enjoy read anthologies. It breaks up the Monotony.

But IDK if I could have moved on with Ken due to how he set to meet her. But her so-called friend Careesha ugh at its finest. Jasira and Pharaoh's story had me interested from the start and I'm so happy the author decided to give them their own story. Elianna and Officer Carom's story had me like what at the end but in a good way. I was shocked to find out their connection at the end of their story. Kenya and Kwame's story had me like dang. Why would Kenya's friend do her dirty like that? Maysin and Bakari's story is a reminder to find that person that values your goals and dreams. Kamdyn and Kysen's story was a cute read. I also enjoyed the poems that introduced or lead the way for each story.
