I was very disappointed in terms of the quality of information as there was a lack of photos and examples in how to do certain tasks or how the item looked at the finish.

I know kindle is difficult with images but the facility is there via image upload but there were certainly a definite need for illustration, although provided some, most were more handdrawn that actual pictures. Where the pictures would have been better placed are when giving instructions as difficult for a beginner to understand what the author was intending the knitter to do.

Although there were patterns within the book. Most of these are freely available online and a beginner could easily look at YouTube and learn the technical parts.

My personal opinion is to save your money, subscribe to a YouTube video tutorials for beginners look at the techniques you need for the item that are required. In addition, many of the YouTube video have additional benefits, as they also have their own links to free patterns, with written instructions links plus links to various tasks explainations.

In terms of recommendation, would definitely not recommend the book for beginners for the reasons above. The author should reconsider the way the present information and look at improving the pictures so that they help the user better.

useful

Easy projects and easy to read early chapters. The patterns may need more descriptions such as type of yarn, needle recommended on all the patterns, not only some.
