Claire Danforth is ready for love. After getting out of a difficult marriage and doing the work to heal, she believes she’s ready to open her heart to a new man. If she can find him, because she knows moving to an island off the coast of Maine with a population that hovers around five hundred doesn’t provide many possibilities for dating. But Night Meadow Island captivated her witch soul when she was offered a first-grade teaching job at the elementary school. When a handsome witch rescues her during her first week of island life, she’s glad she took the chance.

Will Brannigan is lonely. All of his younger siblings have found their life partner, and at thirty-six he’s beginning to wonder if he ever will. So when he meets Claire Danforth, a beautiful witch in distress, he’s ready to open his heart to a woman he believes could be his soul mate. He thinks she feels the same way until a complication from her past comes to the island. Will’s trust is tested, and he fears he’s going to lose the witch he’s been waiting for all his life.

This book quickly grabbed my attention and kept me turning the pages. I was eager to see hoe Will and Claire’s relationship would develop and progress especially with a few obstacles in their way. I enjoyed these characters and getting to know them, I couldn’t help but root for their happily-ever-after.

ENTERTAINING-MAGICAL & SWEET ROMANCE

“Witch Lost” has stormy emotions, magic, excellent character interaction, family devotion, jealousy, a sudden twist, witty banter, sweet romance and a happy forever.

Claire Danforth, a witch, moves to magical Night Meadow Island to start her life independent of her ex husband. She is over her unpleasant divorce and feels she is ready to experience new love. Claire has a comfy cottage to come home to and joy fills her, knowing she will be a first grade teacher at the island’s elementary school. Will Brannigan, an ER physician, believes he will never meet his true soul mate. Fate has him recusing Claire from a sprained ankle. Her blue eyes, smile and honesty capture his attention. She is in awe that she met a handsome, cordial, single man her first week on the island. A piggyback ride to his car, and flirtatious banter has chemistry sparking between them. When a call from her ex requiring help, the new life Claire yearns for may end in tears. They face some hurdles before they attain their happy forever.

Entertaining well-written read with picturesque scene descriptions and a great storyline. Claire is a strong and wise heroine. Will proves his worthiness as a hero. Their love glows in this story. The author shows that trust is pivotal in all relationships. Loving this read, I voluntarily reviewed a pre-release copy.

Note: I received an advanced review copy in exchange for my honest review.

I'll let it be known I've read all the books in the series so far...but as per my review style...let's review the book itself.

Avoiding spoilers...I really liked this book. The characters, are well written (I usually expect this by the author, but you never know); the story itself has an easy going flow. You don't get lost in the storyline, or the progression from twists and turns. The speech of the characters and their emotions are all 'normal', real if you will - making it all believable. (If magic were real of course).

I fell in love with the story, the characters. It was an easy read; I didn't get lost, I didn't find myself wanting to put the book down at any point. In all honesty, I barely stopped reading except for real life stuff. haha.

To sum it up: it's a great read. The series itself is one I do enjoy, and this book is completely on par with the previous books. If you're a fan of the author, paranormal romance - regardless if you've read the previous books or not...there's no wrong decision in picking up a copy of 'Witch Lost'. I will add, the experience of the story overall is improved by having read the previous books...but it's not required.

I loved it. Maybe I'm just kind of a mean person. If I was Claire, after everything her ex put her through, I'd put a hex on his underwear so he could get "ants in his pants" that Maria, his niece, keeps talking about, every time he tries to be a jerk. They are supposed to be co-raising since her parents died in an accident. They hadn't changed their will after Claire & Barry got divorced. She & Will are together & Barry has decided she is going to drop her whole life on the island, forget everything he did, move to Boston & just pick up where they left off. She isn't going to lose her true love, but Barry is going to take Maria away from them if he doesn't get what he wants. Will tries to make a deal that gets found out in the end by the girls grandparents that makes them side with Will & Claire in the case. So she & Will can be together & have major custody of Maria. It's a great story!

Claire & Will

Two witches who have chemistry and magic. Both had given up on thinking they would have a happy family. Does fate have other plans for them?

The characters are loveable. Fans will love them and cheer them on as do their friends and family. Things are going their way when a tragedy turns into a dream come true, but whose dream?

Once again Ms. Vaughn has given us a touching story with wonderful characters, an amazing location, and an ending that will...well let's not spoil anything. Enjoy

Sweet story with fun magical elements! Cool witch town! Witch Claire has recently moved to Night Meadow Island after divorcing her cheating husband. She has a bit of an accident, but luckily, Dr. Will happens by to help her. He’s a witch too! There’s chemistry and attraction between these two, but Claire’s ex and an unexpected circumstance cause some issues between Claire and Will. Entertaining, heartfelt read with likable characters!

Finding " the witch! " Will doubts he'll ever find love, living on Night Meadow Island, without any prospects. Claire moved to the island for another chance at happiness. There's a "spark," between them, and a good story to boot! Enjoyed the family, friends, energy and wit portrayed throughout this tale. Good read. (Though a series, can be read as a standalone.)
Voluntarily read ARC for honest review.

A sweet but angsty love story. Claire is the new teacher in town and is starting her life over after a nasty divorce. Will has come to terms that he is probably not going to find love. These two have a chance meeting on a beach and hit it off. Probably too much. There are things in the works that test their love for each other.
This book was easy to read and really left me wanting more.

Very sweet and endearing tales about the sacrifices we make for true love. I truly had weepy moments when deciding the fate of a child was involved. Of course it was obvious where the HEA needed to aim for, but nevertheless this author made reading the path chosen worth every word. An excellent tale! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

I love this little island. As the series has grown we’ve seen so many romances found. There’s also been plenty of mystery. This time a new witch has come to the island to start a new life after her divorce. She just don’t expect to meet one sexy doctor who is also a witch. The story is filled with love. Love of family, friends and mates. This was a very heart warming story.

Sparks and Fireworks

Charmina love Store. Drama of having your magic sparks and fireworks happen between them is a curse, maybe. The ex-husband is a jerk and is trying to get back Claire.

Claire has endured, persevered and moved on after a troubled relationship. A new home, a new job things are looking up. When she meets someone new, her life is about to change again. Will is ready, in fact overdue to find that special someone. Will believes fate has finally smiled on him after meeting Claire. Their journey has emotion and sweetness, making for an enjoyable read. The road travelled to happily ever after had some hurdles but the HEA was more than satisfactory. I enjoyed visiting the inhabitants of Night Meadow Island once more.

This is the seventh book in the Witches of Night Meadow series. The chemistry and interaction between Claire and Will is great, showing that no matter what if a couple work together they can always make it through rough times.
