Eloise, I told you we would watch the world burn. They'll start the fire, and we'll stand in the ashes of their destruction, ready to create our own.
Now I've escaped Ravenhold, what does my future hold?
Even before Ravenhold, I lived under others' control, but now I have a freedom that I've never experienced. I'm no longer the compliant girl everybody manipulated; I'm the Trinity witch whose connection to Dorian, Zeke, and Ethan has created something unique and unstoppable.
We're fugitives with decisions to make and agendas to follow. Dorian's obsession lies with revenge on those who created his life. Zeke needs to sever ties with the Tigris permanently. And I want to discover who's responsible for the 'special program'—student deaths need to stop.
But Ethan's dangerous plans could expose us. He's consumed by the need to find his sister, the girl whose life he saved the day he became a mid. If the Confederacy want to lure us out, they have the perfect opportunity because Ethan will not stop his search.
Anybody can try to take us, but nobody will ever contain us, and nothing can pull apart the bond we have.
The Blackwoods and Dominion continue their interference as they attempt to manipulate us into helping in their war with Confederacy. But Dorian wants revenge, and when he confronts a savage enemy, the consequences reach further than we could imagine.
As we move closer to the truth about Ravenhold and why the four of us were there, we discover a world woven with family feuds, secrets, and lies. But few know the ultimate secret that the Confederacy hold about me. One that will create a new future and alter our lives in a way we never expected.
Blood Legacy is the final book in the Ravenhold series from USA Today bestselling author LJ Swallow. The books are set in a supernatural reform academy with deliciously dangerous guys and a badass heroine who won't bow to anyone. Ravenhold is a slow burn, enemies to lovers reverse harem romance series. The books are dark academy but not bully. The other books in the Ravenhold series must be read first.
LJ Swallow is a paranormal romance and urban fantasy author who is the alter-ego of bestselling contemporary romance author Lisa Swallow.
Giving in to her dark side, LJ spends time creating worlds filled with supernatural creatures who don’t fit the norm, and heroines who are more likely to kick ass than sit on theirs.
That rushed book 3 feeling and ending Why in series do some authors finish this way. Is it deadline, pressure??
This really is the make or break of authors. This is why k f breene and others will always out shine. You have to finish with the same dedication and care to the story and characters that you started with.
Holy Flip! I absolutely love this series! Dorian, Ethan, Zeke and Eloise have established places in my heart and I am so not ready to let them go! So I seriously hope that they make an appearance again. It was wonderful to see Tobias and Andrei. I always love when characters appear in random places. There are so many twists and turns in the book that I couldn't put it down! I can't wait to see what LJ Swallow comes up with next.
I really loved this last book in the Ravenhold trilogy!!! It was my favorite one yet! It really was a culmination of everything that has been building up in the first two books!!! Dorian, Zeke, Ethan, and Eloise have found a moment of peace in isolation, but now they have something more to work for, something that’s worth finding a way to live peacefully forever. I can’t wait for the next books in this world because I just know we will be seeing these characters again, one way or another, for the final battle and for victory and justice! I am also excited for another crossover between these characters and the rest in this world for the final showdown. I have a feeling they’ll understand each other very well and get along just fine!! It’ll be so nice to see these characters again and see how much they’ve grown and changed! Can’t wait for more!!!! Loved this book!! Loved this group!!!
The writing in the book is good, but it didn't feel like the end of the series. There were too many loose ends and it didn't leave me asking questions. Instead it honestly made me think there should be one more book.
It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. The books are set in a supernatural reform academy with deliciously dangerous guys and a badass heroine who won't bow to anyone. It is a slow burn, enemies to lovers, dark academy reverse harem romance series and contains steamier scenes than the Nightworld Academy books. Welcome to Ravenhold Academy (Ravenhold Supernatural Reform Academy). This book is part of the Nightworld Academy world. This is the story of Eloise, Dorian Blackwood and her other partners. This story tells how they met and came to be together. Eloise has escaped Ravenhold, what does her future hold? Even before Ravenhold, she lived under others' control, but now she has a freedom that she’s never experienced. She’s no longer the compliant girl everybody manipulated; she’s the Trinity witch whose connection to Dorian, Zeke, and Ethan have created something unique and unstoppable. They’re fugitives with decisions to make and agendas to follow, Dorian's obsession lies with revenge on those who created his life, Zeke needs to sever ties with the Tigris permanently, she wants to discover who's responsible for the 'special program' and the student deaths need to stop. Ethan's dangerous plans could expose them for he’s consumed by the need to find his sister, the girl whose life he saved the day he became a mid. If the Confederacy wanted to lure them out, they have the perfect opportunity because Ethan will not stop his search. Anybody can try to take them, but nobody will ever contain them, and nothing can pull apart the bond they have. The Blackwoods and Dominion continue their interference as they attempt to manipulate them into helping in their war with Confederacy, but Dorian wants revenge, and when he confronts a savage enemy, the consequences reach further than they could ever imagine. As they move closer to the truth about Ravenhold and why the four of them were there, they discover a world woven with family feuds, secrets, and lies. Few know the ultimate secret that the Confederacy holds about Eloise, one that would create a new future and alter their lives in a way they never expected. So with all that and more this story pulls you in and holds you tight. I love how this series ended, and I can’t wait to read more about their daughter in the Thornwood Academy series. I highly recommend to everyone.
Loved this conclusion to this part of the series!!! The Trinity Witch and all her consorts certainly have all kinds of surprises in store within these pages. Everything you could possibly want takes place. There's suspense, action, a fierce female, alpha males, steamy moments, supernatural treachery and intrigue, and maybe a comeuppance or two? Plus you may see a few characters from parallel series in the same universe. I for one hope we see these characters again, but for now it wraps up well. Overall it was such a fun read filled with tons of twists and turns along the way. I also loved how far the characters had changed over the course of the series. They truly came into themselves in this final book. Enjoy!!
Lots of stuff happening in this final book in the series. We join Eloise, Dorian, Zeke, and Ethan right where we left them in the last book (it took me a second to remember where that was !). Now that they have escaped from Ravenhold they have to worry about either the Confederacy or the Dominion finding them. They also have to do something about Zeke's Tigris connections and Ethan's search for what happened to his sister, along with Dorian's thirst for revenge against his family and any others on his "list." Things are going to get interesting...
I was given a copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
Eloise, Dorian, Zeke, and Ethan finish their story in this book. There are all kinds of people who want them to do things for them, who want to manipulate the hybrids to their own ends…
The Ravenhold story ends here, with a few Nightworld cameos, bringing some resolutions and answers to our MCs. Set during the early Nightworld stories (and before), we see some of our most hated too. It’s a thrilling conclusion to the tale, and sets up the other stories set in the same world. An enjoyable read for RH fantasy fans.
A rather interesting wrap up of this group in this verse. The dynamic of the group is kind of a tolerable acceptance which I'd expect from such strong personalities. There is certainly some steam in this one as well as some exciting scenes. I think it might be cool to have a check in with this group again sometime, be it a novella or a cameo in one of the other verse's series. I feel like there may be more to tell, but either way this book brought this series to a decent ending point.
So this book is a let down to the rest. Highly stretched and watered and over tired. This book is the classic case of they should have stopped and not made this. About half way through the relationships and view just become boring and jarring. Now I did finish the book cause I started and got half way but at this point I really couldn’t care if I saw how the predictable end would play out
This series was brilliant, I loved the characters and the plot and the storyline and I have enjoyed the growth of the characters as they went from clueless to the end result thoroughly enjoyed it and strongly recommend it and also the other series set in this universe!!
Brilliant end to the trilogy...but is it really the end?
Loved this third instalment in the Ravenhold trilogy. Betrayal, plot twists, secrets revealed - closing almost everything down with open possibilities for Nightworld and a new series to come. Great HEA with a twist!
Solid 4.5 stars for this book and a solid 5 stars for the series. Highly recommend.
Good lord this book was slow and honestly didn’t feel like it had anything exciting other than the last 3rd of the book. I was just so bored and felt like the book dragged. Also I did not like the ending, left a lot of things opened and unanswered but leaves nothing that makes you want to move forward with another book.
I love this series though it should have been read before the others I've indulged in by this author. She has a knack of creating enigmatic characters that you become quite invested in. The plots are complex and weave throughout many of her other books and series. An exquisite pleasure in reading!
Yet another fantastic book to this series!! Characters have developed in ways I definitely didn’t expect and I can’t wait to see if we see more of these characters in the Nightworld Academy series as they are all part of the same world!! A fabulous read!!
I love how Lisa ended Eloise and her guys’ story! I’m wondering if any of them will show up in the last few Nightworld Academy books? Either way, I love the world that LJ has created and I can’t wait to read more!
Beyond captivating!!!! I love all the characters !! It would be amazing to see them all join Maeve and her consorts !!!!!!! They alll need to ban together they’re all such fascinating and fantastic characters !!!!!
Every time Eloise the all powerful trinity is tested, she fails. She is so weak in every scene. It's amazing. Like why claim she is powerful when she never does shit with her so called power? Might as well have made her a powerless omega. That would have made more sense with how weak she is.
This is an amazing story.I really hope there is another book to this some time in the near future, because without one it just seems like there is no end to the story.
I kept reading this series thinking it was going to get better at some point and it didn’t. It got worse. Ending the book with a pregnancy trope? I wasted so much time reading this series.

Really enjoyed this series. I had read winterfall first so knew they ended up together but not how. Great finding out how it all came to be. Love the characters.
