I loved the banter and issued challenges between Mason and Rachael. Both alot alike. The chemistry between the two was palpable. The tea party ladies was a riot! All around great book, loved it.
Amazing book! I couldn't put it down. What happens when you get two stubborn people thrown together on a Texas ranch? Sparks fly. Irene Lawless has a talent for putting the reader up close and personal in each scene she writes. I love that. I could practically taste the home cooked suppers at the dining table as well as the cold beer at the local bar. I can't wait to see what you come up with next, Irene.
"I won’t marry someone for money to save the farm, Charlie."
This book is a great romance novel, easy to read and past the time. Rachel, a real estate expert searching for happiness, crosses paths with Mason, an attractive, strong young man desperately trying to save his ranch. The author created captivating main characters that, despite the cliche plot, the attractive, complicated man meets a crafty, attractive, transplant new woman in town. The story still gives the reader some heart flutters and smiles in their faces, at least I was when reading this book. The important part is that it has a great plot and a satisfactory ending. The author did a great job creating relatable characters. The story is quite sweet and a good light reading.
Texas Sunset spins a captivating narrative around Rachel Hayden's quest for fulfilment and Mason Freeman's struggle to save his family's ranch. Set against the beautiful landscapes of Texas, the novel mixes themes of love, determination, and unforeseen challenges. The characters are attractive and relatable. Their dynamic is electric, filled with tension and undeniable chemistry. As they clash and eventually join forces, the sparks fly, keeping readers eagerly turning the pages.
The author skillfull puts together romance and suspense, keeping readers on the edge of their seats until the very end. However, it's the authenticity of the characters and their emotional journey that truly engage readers. I enjoyed this book a lot and I strongly recommend it.
Exciting and fun—A book for the lovers of the romance genre.
Rachel Hayden needs to find true love! Mason Freeman is on a quest to save his family’s ranch! The destiny of the two is intertwined as Rachel travels to Texas to find true love. While the meeting may be all that Rachel needs now, for Freeman, it is a complication to his plans.
To worsen the situation, Freeman seems too attached to this lady that her image remains glued to his mind. He wants her out of his life, yet he wants nothing less than to hold her close. The story of the two takes a great twist and turns, and there are bigger fishes to fry.
Irene Lawless is no doubt an excellent writer. Even though this is Irene’s first book I’m coming across, it has all the qualities of a great romance story. The concrete character formation and quality storyline make it a worthwhile read. She certainly has mastery of the romance genre and knows how to pair her characters. Texas Sunset is believable and has all shades of goodness. It is one bool I will readily recommend to any lover of the romance genre.
Have you ever experienced the feeling of wanting the same love that the people around you have? Have you ever wondered why it is so difficult for you to get in love with someone? Well, maybe you have a situation similar to Rachel, the protagonist of this book, a girl from the city that wants to find love. She is close to see that maybe it is in front of her but it isn’t easy to accept it and allow herself to be truly loved. For Mason Freeman, this woman is totally out of his plans but he has to deal with the love that is in total control of his heart. If you love the typical love books, this is perfect for you. I liked the book because it's entertaining and it's well written. I would recommend reading it.
Really liked every page turn in this story loved that both characters when they met have same obnoxious temperaments. It was so much fun to see them constantly sparring with each other and watching the attraction grow can't wait to see another story with the rest of the characters in the story
"Texas Sunset" by Irene Lawless is a beautiful addition to the "Love Under The Western Sky" series, providing readers with a gratifying blend of small-town charm and searing passion. The novel is set on a struggling Texas ranch and follows Rachel Hayden, a lady in search of meaning, and Mason Freeman, a dedicated rancher battling to preserve his family's tradition.
Lawless excels at creating believable characters with palpable interaction. The enemies-to-lovers cliche is well-executed, with Rachel and Mason's first fights developing into a passionate attachment that seems genuine and earned. The author successfully blends her heroes' inner development with the larger romance plot, resulting in a story that is as much about self-discovery as it is about finding love.
While the story does not break new ground in the romance genre, it keeps its promises through interesting writing and a fulfilling narrative. "Texas Sunset" is an excellent choice for fans of cowboy romances who prefer a little drama and a lot of heart in their love stories. Highly recommended.
