This book was hard to put down. It was full of action with some great romance. I'm appalled at the horror of terrorists but I'm so glad brave people bare willing to fight terrorists as this book shows from a fictional view.
A fascinating book that I didn't want to put down. Jamie and Alex make a perfect couple, they think alike, react to suspense the same and have a strong bond as revealed in the book. Savin the Queen is a witty, suspenseful thriller. Loved the book.
Another great book by this author. Perhaps one of my favorites. The story live really kept you guessing and the door and twists and turns went right to the end. Definitely recommend reading this book.
I sincerely loved to action, the anticipation of their first evening as a married couple. Much to their surprise, and angst, there were several events in their way.But they were seemingly up to each challenge. I cant wait til the next one!
I debated about five stars so perhaps 4.5 because you definitely have to suspend your grip on reality for parts of this, but it’s a novel, after all.
Jamie and Alex are in England for their honeymoon but get embroiled in terrorist attacks and cyber hacking to try to find Pok, believing he’s behind it all.
I quite enjoyed the first three books in this series.... This one not so much. The first half seemed to be nothing more than making Alex out to be a hen pecked wimp which really took away from the book. The second half of the book partially made up for that. But WAY too much talk about their NON sex on the honeymoon. One last criticism......Too many partial sentences, which made me have to back track and re-read portions to understand the meaning. The series is titled "Jamie Austin Thrillers"..... the books with her as the primary character seem more interesting than the ones about Alex. Hope book number 5 is better.
I stopped reading on page 35. You have two agents that are supposed to be the best of the best, they recognize the bad guy is being the bad guy, yet they let the bad guy not only get close to but also get right in the path of the woman with the child and stab her. Not only that they let the purp get away from them with some BS excuse. I get totally tired of authors that don't put enough effort into making their plot believable, even when it's fiction.
Terry Toler writes a thumping good thriller. Alex and Jamie are on their honeymoon in London. Is someone trying to make it seem like Alex is dictating horrible incidents like knife attacks, suicide bombs and oh no, a dirty bomb at a royal wedding! MI5 and MI6 get involved. Will Alex be killed or spend years in a British prison? This thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat if you can even put it down.
I am reading this series about Alex and Jamie. I skipped parts of this because of the frustration level. I don't like stories where someone is innocent is accused. I don't mind the unrealistic parts-we are reading adventures and it is fiction. I have started the next one and am ready for more.
Quite the story of their honeymoon. Got themselves in a little jam now and then. Toler introduced their nemesis Pok. HE proved to be evil of the first order. I didn’t believe that the British wouldn’t have found hat helicopter and Muslim pilot. Anyway, what a honeymoon? 5
Great story. slow start, but picked up as the story line developed. Felt sorry that the innocents got caught in the crossfire, but the ending worked out and looking forward to AJAX adventures.
