Coco the Chameleon is such a charming and relatable children's picture book with beautiful illustrations! Coco starts out the story loving herself until she starts school when she sees that all the other chameleons in her class look nothing like her and she wishes that she could be more like anyone but herself. Since she is a chameleon, she finds out she can change colors, so she blends in to all of her classmates and by the end of the story she is exhausted and so happy to be back in her own skin because she is "one in a chameleon" and being herself is the best feeling of all! This is such a great message for both children and adults and the book also has interactive pages in the back for the kids that are great to start conversations about self-acceptance and what makes them unique. LOVE it, HIGHLY recommend adding this to your library!
