This book is amazing! Another wonderful story by Shona, this one is a definite must read! Deva is the daughter of Laird MacLean and Niven is the nephew of Laird Macaulay. Only desire and love may not be enough to keep them together. Deva MacLean and Niven MacAulay are a couple that keeps you heart pounding. You don’t know to hope or to cry or to just feel what they are going through. You will not be able to put this one down. There is a certain rush you get when reading this enticing story
Story was okay. But the story was just a repeat of others. Was not the usual good read from Shona. And the bad brother, well at least that turned out for the better.Extended Epilogue was a disappointment too.Hope your next story is better.
Shona never ever disappoints with her stories and characters. I just loved this book. I can’t wait to read about Fingal next. That should be an interesting story. 😂💜💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊😊🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😂
This was a good story but so confusing. I highlighted 69 passages that made no sense. I reread so many parts. Someone would leave then be talking. Niven would be leaning down and in the next sentence reaching up. Distances really seemed distorted. Definitely not one I'll read again.
Shona Thompson has written a fascinating story about love at first sight. The characters were engaging and the storyline contained so much suspense, intrigue and deception besides the development of romance.
Shona Thompson has enjoyment and mystery wrapped in one in this book. I couldn’t put it down to find out what will happen next. I very much loved this book. Anyone will enjoy it.
