Cold Moon
I am Françoise, Queen of the Vampires. I ran wild and free in Paris in the 1820s with my four delicious vampire lovers.
But alas, this was not to be.
For, after hundreds of years, a new breed of vampire rose up and tried to murder me.
I woke up in London, in the year 2020.
I am learning now, growing stronger with the help of four handsome men, the owners of Blackheart nightclub.
But Karl knows I am awake and is looking for me. Can I grow strong before he unleashes his vampire army on me and Blackheart? Or will I perish like the pureblood vampires that came before me?

Be still my BlackHeart, Oh My God Ruby... what have you done to me and my poor heart!!! This book is absolutely amazing!!!
We learn that Karl is a weak, old vampire with no honour, who can't even keep to his own words.... you can't dislike anymore then you do by the end of this book!!
There is soooo much to love a deeper understanding of the characters and new ones too who hold a lot of intrigue. There is also so much pain that I nearly smashed my phone ahhh
I loved how we got to know Nik more and I kinda fell for him. He might be this super hot ex rugby guy but he's so sweet and unassuming. He loves Frankie but didn't think she felt anything for him... well that is totally crushed so YAY!!
RY well this is certainly his book and what a journey he goes on and it's nit an easy one its soo painful but still you must read it all!!!
We learn a lot about Dray and Flynn through a new character but are still left with so many questions. My heart breaks for Dray in this book and Flynn just crushed it under his foot... is this action redeemable, I guess only time will tell.
Frankie grows a lot in this book and I love her for it. She learns why she behaves a certain way with some of the guys and she also learns that she has the emotional capacity to love, something she didn't think was possible.
This book is a MUST read!! I can not wait for the next book and I cant wait to see who we get to know more about!!

This book was exceptional! It was better than Book1! The story was gripping right from page one. There was a lot less graphically violent scenes which I think made the story better since the reader was more focused on the exceptional writing. It did not need all the blood scenes yet when there was one, it was tastefully done. The story will knock your socks off and I was hard pressed to put it down. I love these characters and can’t wait for more! Download and enjoy❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hmm yet again Ruby has left me hanging with an open ending...
But these vamps and humans know how to roll with the punches but still keep you on your toes with what is going to happen, which shows how good an author Ruby is, now to wait for the next instrumental.

The second book in The Blackheart Saga is quite honestly amazing! Ruby has come along and slayed this book!
I still love Francoise even if she's a little less violently bloodthirsty... well in action but not the mind haha yet when she does let those inner cravings of bloodlust come out to play it's done tastefully and it's not necessarily mindlessly so it works well with the ongoing story and the dynamics that have been forged and still building with her men. We get to meet old and new characters within this emotionally charged second instalment.
This book contains the sexy and the action but it also holds a lot of character growth for all the characters. Francoise learns parts about herself that she thought lost long ago and that they aren't as long dead as she thought, feelings and emotions that are still alive but just needed reigniting.
But Nik, Dray, Ry, and Flynn all go through some level of growth and a journey some will forever remember and life altering changes. There's immeasurable pain, deep hurt, family dramas, surprising secrets revealed, unconditional love... and whilst all this unfolds they are still dealing with the unscrupulous Karl who has no honour and follows no code, with his army of deranged newly turned vamps. All I can say is the heat is definitely turning up... but does everyone come out of it unscathed? Suppose only one way to find out... Best get your read on!

I really enjoyed book 2. It is full of twists and turns that you won’t see coming as Francoise is reunited with vampires from her past😱I loved watching her character grow from strength to strength as the book goes on. Francoise has to adapt to a new way of living in this book and is able to fully restrain herself around the boys which is something she has never done with humans before and I love how loyal she is to them. Flynn is my favourite male character, and I did not see that twist coming!!! 🤭

I love this new author. This book is a must read. The characters and storyline are awesome. You’re going to be glued to this book. Truly enjoyed reading it and look forward to more from this author

This book deserves more than 5 stars. My biggest complaint is that I have to wait on the next book. Just like the Blood Moon it brings out all the feelings until the very end. Every feeling you have will come out at some point while reading. Sometimes in books I will see something coming and then try and figure out what it is. The twist that happened completely caught me by surprise. You will have to read it to find out what they are. I will be impatiently waiting for book 3 :-). The only reason I put it down is because I had to or because my kids were around and it felt awkward.

Oh wow 🙈 This book had so many twists and revelations! I certainly did not expect some of them coming 🙈
Ruby is a very talented writer. Why so? Because she created a very gripping story that has strong characters and an even stronger plot. This is the second book of this series and the action in it.. is fucking escalating. Like the first book wasn't intense and action-packed enough 🙈. Goodness gracious Ruby 😈
Frankie is a Vampire Queen that wakes up at modern London after she was forced to "sleep" by a very mean *cough asshole cough* vampire. There she learns that what she knew has pretty much changed and now she has to adapt to this new lifestyle. Fortunately she has not one but four hot men by her side ready to help her. These are the men who found her and helped her "wake up".
Flynn. He's possessive and pretty bossy
Dray. He's intense and such an alpha
Nick. The caring one 🖤
Ry. Playful and at the same time powerful
Frankie will need all of them in order to win the war that is ahead of her. And we're speaking for a savage war. No one is going to be spared. The other side? That is ruled by this psychotic bastard vampire who wants Frankie again? They are not joking. They can do some pretty dark shit.
There is some pretty explosive smutt in this story. We are speaking for rh after all 😈. Frankie is such a sexy vampire. She isn't ashamed of her own sexual need and I love this. It was really hot to read how she had the guys when she wanted them 🙈😈🍆.
Definitely can't wait for the next one! 🔥🔥

Keeping this short as I simply loved it. Gripping, sexy, and atmospheric. So awesome that I've just jumped into book 3. I'm not one for reading back to back sagas so this has to be good. Well done Ruby.

There is nothing cold about this book! Just when you think you have it figured out, Ruby Wilder throws out another incredible detail or twist that will leave you smiling (or shouting haha) but I can’t give it all away. Cold Moon is an amazing follow up to Blood Moon! I love that Frankie, Queen of the Vampires, really comes into her own in this book. She’s still learning about the modern world and navigating her relationships with the guys, but she takes back her power and it’s a wild ride.
I’m also a big fan of how Frankie continues to work on her relationships with Flynn, Dray, Nik, and Ry. They each offer her something unique, and Ruby is not shy with the twists and turns involving the guys, and more. In fact, I yelled out, “What?!” a few times, causing my poor husband to come running, thinking something was wrong haha.
This book also gave me a deep new appreciation for Ry! I still love all the guys, but you’ll see what I mean! I loved everything about Cold Moon and where the story is headed. I cannot wait to see what is in store for us in the next chapter of Frankie’s journey. Once again, I was so caught up in the book that I didn’t realize I had finished it and had to sit and stew in my feelings for a bit haha, totally worth it! Ruby has outdone herself with Cold Moon and it is a MUST READ, right now! Thank you, Ruby!
