Saving Joss💃💋, Again, and Again

ADULT Alpha Alien Male 🐺 Sci-fi Romance 💕 and Escape.
Joss💃💋, a human woman, is captured by slavers and rescued by Ryz🐺💪🍆⛲🔪 and his crew of space🚀 pirates, only to be recaptured again and sold into slavery.

Ryz🐺💪🍆⛲🔪 goes through several gyrations to try to rescue her from the farm where she is working as a household slave, but security is tight, and at first, Joss💃💋 is uncooperative because she doesn't trust him.

For some reason, this book just didn't click with me, maybe because overall character development was lacking and a real connection between the two main characters was also missing something. There were Too many failed escapes.

Jess has escaped slavery only to be captured by another slave trader. She quickly realises that escape is a very unlikely possibility. Guards are stationed everywhere and keep a close watch on the slaves. Everyone is suspicious of everyone else and it becomes clear that anyone will tell on anyone else to better their circumstances. Jess is just starting to accept her lot when Ryz appears.
Ryz, a mercenary on the Valke, feels responsible for Jess being taken on his watch, so volunteers to go in alone to rescue her. When he finds her however, she doesn’t appear to want to be rescued. But he is determined to rescue her even if she fights him, especially when he learns what her owners really want her for.
There is quite a few misunderstandings between Ryz and Jess and the realisation of what they mean to each other takes a while to kick-in! Poor Jess has not been able to trust many people and has such a kind heart. Ryz may be a mercenary but more of a Robin Hood kind. Plenty of action and romance, I loved it!

This is Joss and Ryx's story. Joss ended up becoming a slave again but on another planet, Elrilia, and sold to The Ocraxs. These people are going to be more difficult to escape from so Joss just accepts that this is going to be her life. She passes someone in the hall and later realizes that it's Ryx going to save her. Joss has trust issues and she is giving Ryx a hard time. There is more action and other characters that are added to the story. Joss finds out that her next stage of being sold will be for research and that's horrific. But there is alway a silver lining and Ryx finds and with a friend saves her again. Finally Joss and Ryx talk and find that they are fated to be together. What's going to happen next? She has joined the mercenaries to free as may slaves as they can. Will they be successful? Joss has just been saved from being a slave on one planet by mercenaries, well honestly more like modern-day Robin Hood's except they are red, from head to toe, oh and they have muscles, like lots of them! She is planning on staying where she is for now ( no fool Joss) as a certain navigator may have caught her eye a bit but when she is saying goodbye to some of the other freed slaves she is caught by some more other slavers and ends up in another compound as a slave again. Universe seems determined for her to remain a slave. Ryz cannot forgive himself for Joss being taken and also he is pretty certain that she is his fated mate. He is determined to get her back even if she doesn't end up being his. Escape plan here we come! I loved this book especially when Joss writes her letter, what letter? Read the book and find out, I promise you won't regret it.

¡Sweet against odds!

Joss was facing slavery again. She has lost freedom and this new abduction was not better than the first one. Acceptance could be the only option but wishes in her mind were the only escape from this impossible situation. Greed and envy surrounded her, and the possibility of something liberating came from rebellion. ¿What it took to get what you want? Just look for it.

Sonia Nova gave us another SCI-FI loving fictional chapter of this alien mercenaries’ series, where our players are stronger than they thought. You will find sweetness and caring bonds mixed with hidden danger, misunderstanding, passion, and romance. Intelligence and patience could conquer more. ¡A must-read book that engaged you until the end!

Ryz is determined to rescue Joss...

Joss was accidentally rescued by a group of mercenaries during the previous story... then accidentally kidnapped from them. Ryz has sworn to rescue her, and no matter the obstacle, he'll keep that promise.

Joss has trust issues, making it hard to know whether she should trust the mercenary she barely knows, or her fellow slave, who she also barely knows, but has the advantage of being able to show her tangible proof of the truth of at least some of what she says. Caught in a world where everyone is simply trying to survive, even if that means lying to themselves, Joss wants out, but struggles to see how she can get out alive.

This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read has several secondary characters that were interesting in their own right, and really helped bring this story to life..

Rescuing Joss . . .

Joss was rescued from slavery by a group of mercenaries, but before she could experience relief for the “freedom”, she is taken from her rescuers by another group of slave traders. She sees escape as impossible and feels powerless to do anything after seeing the dungeon.

Ryz feels responsible for Jess being captured again. He has decided on a plan to find and rescue her. But can he convince her that she can trust him?

This is a fast-paced story line that will intrigue the reader right from the start. It’s a race against time as Ryz must rescue the female from what promises to be a horrendous fate. Can he get to her in time? Will she cooperate in her rescue and put her life in his hands?

Number 2 in this new series. It is Joss and Ryx's story, of the adventure of his rescue attempts. Joss is now a slave and working her way through levels of work. Ryx manages to get to her several times but she fears he is not genuine. Doubt from what other say of his race. It is both frustrating for Ryx and Joss but he ups the anti after discovering what her owners plan to do with her. Ryx also catches up with an old friend and together they make plans. Joss does get her HEA but only after events that have her being rescued, finally. It was a fast paced and action packed read. Now for the next episode and rescues! :)

Joss was rescued from slavery once by a group of mercenaries, only to be captured by another gan of slave traders and taken to the planet Elrilia. Joss quickly realizes that escape is impossible as guards are everywhere, the other slaves will tattle, and she is afraid to try to escape after she is shown the dungeon. Ryz feels responsible for Jess being taken as he was supposed to be keeping watch.He comes up with a plan to find Joss and rescue her. Now he just has to convince her to trust him.
This story has some great characters, lots of action, and ends in an HEA.

Jeez Joss!

Have you ever read a book where you constantly wanted to magically transport yourself into a scene and slap the beejesus out of the heroine? That’s how I felt about Joss. I understood that she was afraid but she made everything so much harder with her stubbornness. Ryz was a true hero, he was so tenacious about rescuing her, even when she was being stubborn. He stayed the course and rescued his mate. I enjoyed this story as much as book 1. I’m looking forward to book 3.

3 1/2 Stars... When Joss finds herself kidnaped again, after just being rescued, she plots to escape her masters as soon as she can. Ryz was one of the mercenaries that rescued Joss and other women, and is determined to find and rescue her. When Ryz finds Joss, she has trouble trusting him, although they have crazy chemistry. The book was well paced, but at times felt very YA. There was an immaturity about Joss that was odd for me. But, overall it was an OK read

Agree, Jeez Joss!

The 2nd story in The Alien Mercenary series won't disappoint. The characters are so well written that you'll want to shake, or slap, the beejesus out of the heroine. The story of Ryz & Joss is fast paced, entertaining and steamy.

Ryz is a male on a mission to save his fated mate. A hero attempting to save Joss, slaves, and damage slave owners along the way. Looking forward to the next in the series. Enjoy.

FAST PACED
This ends up being good one. I got frustrated with Joss but I love Ryz so much it's worth it! Lots of action and danger.
A group of terrain women were rescued by the pirate crew of the Zalke. Joss is then kidnapped AGAIN! Ryz is able to track her down and tries to rescue her but she doesn't trust him. He tries again and she can't leave without the other slaves. He tries again but she has been taken away. Can he find her and get her out before something WORSE happens?

Second book in the series. Humans or Terrians are considered the exotic species in space. If you have the money and power you can have slaves. The crew of the ship steal from the rich and now free slaves. But what happens when one crew member is taken and sold back into slavery? Can the crew find her and how to save her? The main characters for this story never give up and they always look out for others. They want nothing more than to end the slavery. There is some action and the romance builds up.

Only Okay

This ticked all the right boxes for how to write a good story, but it felt flat. This happened and then this happened and then, etc. I think it was missing descriptions through experiences and senses. I also wasn’t convinced with how she fell in love. She didn’t trust him most of the time and they couldn’t spend any time together, so how could she fall in love? It was more likely that she fell in love with the idea of her rescuer. I would have like to seen them rescued and running before falling in love.

Very badly executed idea

First of all characters were behaving like 10 years old. The hero was more redeemable,but the heroine was just plain stupid,which was annoying. I was feeling as if i am reading some YA book, having in mind Sonia Nova has wonderfully executed books. Plot was shallow and the bad development of the heroes did not help it and it basically is not worth it. I received this book as an ARC, so my opinion is not influenced by that.

Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. This story of Joss and Ryz. Joss was rescued by Ryz twice from Slave traders, they had trust issues. It was fast past but once they started to talk they started to get a long with each other, are they ment to be or not. There was twists, passion, desire, lust and more.

Joss was kidnapped from the floating city of Ariyn’mag now she is a slave again and working for the Ocraxs Joss wasn’t happy at all until she thought that she saw Ryz carrying a load of pots and pans but Ryz isn’t a slave he’s on the ship the Zalke which Joss wishes that she was there. There is so much more going on in this fantastic story I’m loving this series and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Very exciting story. All about saving Joss. A planet of slavers and their money. Trials and troubles to match. The author showed a more mild version of slavery but still slavery. What Ryz went through to get her out and safe was grating on my last nerve. An excellent story and now there will be more soon, I hope. Joss gets rescued then caught again but doesn’t trust the guys who rescued her the first time? I couldn’t really connect with her but the storyline is good and Ryz is a hot alien mercenary who wants to save her. There are some pretty dark characters and some sad and unpleasant scenes but I think they were necessary to the story.
I want to thank the author for making this available through Kindle Unlimited.

This story has tons of emotion, action and adventure, adversity and some steamy bits. it has great characters and an amazing story line that will have you on the edge of your seat at times.

Ryz and Jess's misunderstandings and miscommunications could be solved by just opening up and realizing that trust comes from faith. But, listening to other's opinions, causes no end of troubles for these two. Can learning to take a chance make all the difference? Will Jess's slavery ever end? Can kindness come from a mercenary?

This was an entertaining story that's full of action, adventure, challenge, trust and steamy romance. It's a fast paced story that has a roller coaster of emotions that stem from communication issues. Thankfully, we get an HEA but I have to say, I was on the edge of me seat at times worrying about it ;) All great fun and I look forward to the next book in the series.

The second book in the Rescued by the Alien Mercenary series a well written story that kept me turning pages. Irrodian Ryz and Terran Joss' story that I enjoyed reading as these two realize they are meant for each other. I want to read the next book. This is a quick read with great story, good humour and then a little heat thrown in
The story is a simple a simple slave, escape, caught, escape, with a slow romance
It should come with a warning that says too good to put down, but small enough to read in one sitting. I missed the first in the series but I will go back and the the first and then look out for the next in the series.

Fast paced interesting story

Ryz and Joss’s story starts with her recapture while with Ryz when some of the women were leaving the ship. Ryz feels responsible and determined to rescue her. After finding where she is taken to and getting himself captured so he can rescue her, she refuses. The story has so many twists and turns you need to read it to keep up. Interesting read.

Joss needs rescue yet again. First she's captured by slavers and then rescued and captured by yet another group of slavers. Ryz is driven to save Joss but she's mistrust him and refuses to leave. Finally she insists they save ALL the slaves. Exciting and thrilling plots and plans.
