About the author

Mary commutes between her dream home near the Mark Twain national forest in Missouri and her current residence in Iowa. She lives with a menagerie of animals including an opinionated horse and a cat who was a dog in past life. When not writing spicy tales of erotic romance, she enjoys writing science fiction and fantasy, spending time with her horse, and enjoying the outdoors. Lucky for her, her partner (hero) shares these same passions, and usually both of them can be found in their respective dens writing.

And it’s not far from the truth. Mary began writing in high school after she discovered Silhouette Desire romance novels and realized that she wanted to be the one to write stories that carried readers away from their oh-so-boring lives. She has a deep appreciation and love of the natural, the spirtual, and the metaphysical, which has led to her running Jupiter Gardens and writing for new age and pagan magazines. She is attuned to Reiki II and reads tarot cards.

Right now her household includes six cats, ranging in age from less than six months (Tenzin, former feral kitten) to seventeen years (Tigger, diabetic kitty), her horse, two parrots, a finch flight, a geriatric parakeet flight, and her partner, the hero of her own personal romance story.

Her favorite television shows are Torchwood, Bones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Dr. Who (new), Battlestar Galactica (new), Babylon 5, Farscape, and Sex in the City. Her favorite movies are Spaceballs, The Cutting Edge, Serenity, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, the LoTR trilogy, and probably a few others she’s forgetting. Her musical tastes range from Enya, Clannad, David Arkenstone, David & Steve Gordon, Scott McDonald, and AfroCelt Sound System to Metallica, Nine Inch Nails, and others.

Story line is great and I loved the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Unexpected twists and turns had me reading this book in one sitting. Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!

Ghost Redeemed is a fascinating story. Mary Winter wrote a story that makes the paranormal and supernatural world seem normal. There is a surprising romance in the story that initially raised my eyebrows a tad. However, the characters make it seem likely and reasonable. I rooted for the main characters throughout the story. As the title says, redemption is a huge part of the tale.

Kyle was not a nice guy, but he was a nice guy, and when he died, his ghost worked for the wrong side. He is hellbent on coming back to make amends with his girlfriend. Tragic news turns him into the hero that Shay, his girlfriend's best friend, needs. She is not helpless as she has unique gifts that put her in the freak category her entire life. Kyle is not the only one that receives redemption. This story filled with action, suspense, quite a few twists, and mystery is fun reading.

A man had messed up in life in order to give his love a better life. But he was killed during a sting. As a ghost he continues to work for the dark side, but one day he has enough and just wants eternal rest, when suddenly the Sisters of Fate become visible and weave a new skein into his tapestry of life. To get eternal rest he needs to protect someone.
Returning to the living he is still a ghost, but realizes he has a second chance on life and love - if he can keep her alive long enough.
An interesting story, a little twisted, with a man who is good at heart but was led astray for a while.

This is a great fascinating story that I enjoyed. The plot and characters are well written. Kyle and Shay are awesome together. Kyle had messed up in life and regretted never finding his true love. He finds out he has a second chance to make things right and Shay is a psychic and can see ghosts. They have an instant attraction. Things heat up and it seems that someone is after Shay and Kyle must keep her safe. Grab your copy to see if they get a HEA!!! It's a must read for any fan and I can't wait to read more!

Book two in the Dangerous Spirits series a well written second chance at life story. This is Kyle Denison and ShayLynn Cartland's story. Kyle is granted a second chance at life after all the bad things he has done, he wants to be with his wife Marcy, but she has died. He meets Shay, Marcy's best friend and they believe Marcy's death was not the way it appears to be. There is suspense, drama, danger, evil, a villain, and romance. I wonder if Allen will get a story. I had a real problem with this story, i found it too hard to just believe - a ‘ghost’ that is corporeal enough to fight and f**k, but not real enough to eat or drink. Other than this the story was well written, and exciting. The s*x was hot, but I just couldn’t disregard the inconsistency. I liked 5e happy ending.

This book was different from what I expected, no bad thing as I enjoyed it very much but it wasn't what I was expected, it was better! The storyline flows well and the characters are well-drawn. The premise of the book about someone getting a second chance at life a chance to right their wrongs was different and interesting.

I don't want to tell you more, you will have the gist from the books "blurb" but I will say it's one I'm glad I read.

Great addition to the Paranormal Romance genre!

The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world that was created.

The descriptions of the characters and their feelings are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind. Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.

I've read several books written by Mary Winter; she has done a great job at writing a good book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Ghost Redeemed by Mary Winter is an awesome story that I have loved reading and can not wait to see what the author writes next. This is book number two in this awesome series. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about erotic and paranormal romance.

Spirited

Kyle and Shay have a truly haunting love story! Mystery, intrigue, chemistry, heat, redemtion, twists and turns and second chances! Great read.

Several years ago, Kyle Denison was killed when a deal he was making with Jean Lu-Marc, a dangerous man went sour. Kyle’s former partner, Special Agent Kaimoon was there when it all went down. Kyle’s only regret before he died was never finding true love. Now Kyle is given another chance to make things right. The powers that be are letting Kyle live this last time if he promises to save a life. Don’t get me wrong just because Kyle is receiving a second chance does not mean he is alive as he is still a ghost.

Kyle knows he needs to make the most of this opportunity and he knows just who he will visit…his one and only true love Marcy. Kyle soon discovers that Marcy has committed suicide.
Shay was Marcy’s best friend. Shay has a unique talent as a psychic, who can see ghosts. Kyle and Shay feel an instant attraction to each other. It seems someone is after Shay and it is up to Kyle to protect her.

Ghost Redeemed picks back up with Kyle and Raimoon from Ghost Touch. Just like Ghost Touch, this was one steamy, great read. You met Kyle Denison in Ghost Touch but now read his story in Ghost Redeemed. I am glad that Ghost Redeemed focused on Kyle as I didn’t really get to know him well in the prior story but wanted to get to know him better and Mary Winter made sure that happened with this book.
