Hello, my name is Eve Langlais and I am an International Bestselling author who loves to write hot romance, usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens .
I should warn you, I have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. While well known for my shifter stories, I am also extremely partial to aliens, the kind who like to abduct humans and then drive them insane...with pleasure. Or do you like something a little darker, more serious? Then check out my cyborgs whose battle with humanity have captivated readers worldwide.

The Hero:Stefan - he is a tiger shifter and was born in a lab. The scientists were experimenting on children, but if the kids didn’t manifest an ability by a certain age, Mr. X, the guy in charge, told the scientists to terminate them. The lead scientist refused to do that, so he found them a home with his sister. Stefan and his eight adopted siblings grew up on a farm with their “mom”, Nannette Hubbard, who was a wonderful lady who risked a lot by taking in all of those kids.
The heroine:Nimway - she is a beta wolf from the pack that kidnapped Dominick’s girlfriend Anika in order to get him to admit he is a cat shifter. The wolf pack is territorial, and they were not happy to find out that other shifters are living in their area, especially cat shifters. They also were a bit worried because one wrong move on their part could expose all shifters in the area.
The Story: Unlike his brothers, Stefan found out he was a shifter (or huanimorph as the scientists called them) when he was a teenager. He found himself addicted to both catnip and other drugs after thinking he was a freak. Catnip was the initial problem, since he and his cat shifter brothers are allergic to it in a way that the catnip drugged them and made them shift. He started getting high from catnip and he ended up waking up naked in the woods with blood all over his mouth. He ended up filming himself shifting and that was how he figured out what he was.
I loved this book. Stephan and Nimway were bickering with each other from their first meeting, and the chemistry between them was explosive from the start as well. When Nimway’s brother, the alpha of the pack, decided to align their families through marriage between Stephan and Nimway, the story got even better. I loved the fact that they got married so fast and that Stephan had one demand and that was that the marriage not be in name only like Nimway had first proposed. This book had a better plot than the first book and much more suspense.
This audiobook was told in dual points of view via solo narration and was narrated by Grace Grant. I usually hate solo narration but was able to get this book as part of a box set, so I picked it up. Grace Grant is a pretty good narrator; she has a nice voice and her voice for the male characters isn’t bad either.
Due to his rocky battle and loss of control following his first time shifting, Stefan refuses to change forms no matter what. Him and his family are invited to meet with the wolf shifter clan, who’s land they live on. To keep his family safe, Stefan and beta wolf Nimway partake in the archaic tradition to join the clans through marriage.
As soon as this book was delivered to my kindle, you can bet your ass I set everything to Do not Disturb. The intricacies throughout this book added depth to the storyline, really elevating this read. It was for this reason I fell in love with Stefan’s character as a child, with his soft spoken, sweet and patient manner. Seriously, my heart almost couldn’t take it. Essentially, I was hooked from the prologue. I honestly got 40% through in what felt like a blink of the eye.
These traits were seen in Stefan as an adult, and the struggles of his past just made him more relatable. I love how he met his match in Nimway, a tough enforcer who is required to make difficult decisions for the good of the pack. I especially enjoyed their instant attraction and the mutual appreciation of both their strengths and weaknesses.
I rated this book 5 stars. I truly love the direction this series is heading and already have high excitement for Daphne, even though she won’t have a book for a long while. I am also super excited to meet the other siblings that haven’t really been introduced yet. Congratulations on another grawsome book (growly/awesome). BRING ON RAYMOND!
Can we say me Jane you Tarzan. Wow! The scene of Stefan coming out of the tree and fixing that shirt aground I his manly parts gave me those vibes. I loved this book. I'm loving the series. Nobody better try and what's Nimway nope! She ain't playing. You do not take that'd hers. What started off as a simple save the family became more. It started with a little flirting and kiss thrown in there. This family means so much to me. You always hear the worst about Foster care or homes or adoptive parents. Nana not only took in 9 kids but special kids and loved them all and adopted them as her own. She knew the risked but she did what a woman had to do. What any decent person really. I know I'm stalling but I dont WA t to tell the story. Its a quick rad or maybe just to me because it was just that good. Plus I love Eve Langlais books. I cannot wait to read Ray Ray okay Raymond as book. But RayRay sound so cute as a nickname. I hope Eve gives us the other kids books since only 3 are slated for the series so far. At least Maeve and Pamela. You think Nannette and Gwayne gonna get cozy since they are neighbors now and he's a widow she's a widow...just saying. Get the book! Peace out!
It's review time 🎧 Blurb 📜:For her, he'll unleash the tiger within.

Warning ⚠️: part of a series, shifters, part of an experiment.
Narrator score🎧 ; the Narrator was good she did a good job with this book as with the previous. She is a good performer.
Level of steam🔥: the book had a lot of steam for such a short story.
Level of anxiety and sadness 😱😢: it wasn't sad at all, you had some shifter drama but nothing that was too much.
The book itself📖: the book was cute, I can't say much more. Did I like it? I'm not sure. Was it bad? No it wasn't.
Good book I enjoyed listening to this book. A pack of wolves discovered them since they were not very good at covering their tracks while stumbling into the truth of their identity. Stefan was super suspicious of them and argued quite a bit in the beginning of the book about avoiding the wolves. It’s got a little annoying for me but he had his reasons and eventually got over it. He and the heroine, who’s the beta of her pack liked to argue with each other while at the same time, being very intrigued with each other. This plot was interesting in that we got to learn about new characters and she and her brother, who’s the alpha are interesting characters. Between the first two books in this series, I like this book more but both are good. The plot continues with Stefan’s family trying to get used to the idea that they shape shift and were made in a lab. This one had some good action. No angst or drama.
Stefan is reluctant to go to the barbecue with the wolf shifters he just doesn’t trust them, but his mom thinks it’s better to play nice then fight them. So at the party Stefan can stay away from Nimway the alphas sister there is just attraction between them. While in a kiss they are interrupted because his brother is guarding the desert table but he not himself he’s a links someone put catnip in the chocolate fountain. Once they get him calmed down abd back home. Nimway finds out who did it but they can’t find him. But the Alpha comes up with a plain to merge the Hubbards into his pack. His sister Will married one of them. So she asks Stefan. And he agrees while they are celebrating their marriage someone kidnapped his brother. So the bad guys have come for them. So enjoy the read and see what happens!!
Stefan has definitely met his match, and she isn’t letting him get away with anything! Of course, the fact that they quickly move from adversaries to kissing makes their banter all the better. He is the moody one, she is dedicated to her pack, but when together, all they can focus on is each other. Perfectly matched in every way, these two learn from each other and are all the better because of it <3
There are so many authors out there today writing paranormal romances that it's getting hard to decide who to read. Well, if you're into authors who are able to put interesting characters into old ball situations resulting in laugh out loud moments followed by flaming hot sexy times look no further than Eve Langlais. Now this story isn't all that long but it includes all of those elements mentioned above
It really is a great read with dogs and cats battling their way to loving. Stefan is the gorgeous tiger in this story and he’s all grown up and still hasn’t come to terms with his beginnings. Oh boy is he going to learn a lot from the wolves! Eve Langlais always entertains. What talent she has.
Yes, writers have used this same variation of kids, genetic manipulation, and shifting into animals a thousand times over. I liked this version because these kids are grown up with likes, attitudes, and family. Throw in some natural born shifters, and life gets very interesting.
Stefan, is a lab created tiger shifter, his adopted mom and his lab created shifter siblings are contacted by the local wolf pack stating they didn't belong in their territory. Unfortunately that is the least of their problems that they will soon be forced to deal with.
Stefan has grown into a man with many secrets he has kept. Nimway takes her family and her title very serious. It started out as recon then flirting the acceptance’s. Now it’s your to read this must have book.
Loved this book and main characters. Excellent continuation of the series. Fun and entertaining with some sadness, not too much. There was great chemistry between main characters. Looking forward to reading next one.
This was an enjoyable read full of action and danger and of course love. There was more insight info into what was going on .More of this in the next story I hope.Recommended
I absolutely loved this one. Stefan and Nimway were so dedicated to each other. The fact they got married, she followed him and made sure he was safe. Loved the family, the wolves and loved the continued storyline. On to Raymond’s story. 😊😊😊😊😊💜💜💜💜💜🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Can't wait to read more in this series loved the characters and the storyline so it's a well deserved five stars and I would recommend this book to everyone
Stefen by eve langlais. The banter between the mfc and mmc was just chef's kiss. And i like how they were both so anti marriage until they saw each other, and it all just clicked into place
