Nintendo Co., Ltd. is a Japanese multinational consumer electronics and video game company headquartered in Kyoto, Japan. Nintendo is one of the world's largest video game companies by market capitalization. Founded on 23 September 1889 by Fusajiro Yamauchi, it originally produced handmade hanafuda playing cards. By 1963, the company had tried several small niche businesses, such as cab services and love hotels. The word Nintendo can be roughly translated from Japanese to English as "leave luck to heaven".
Abandoning previous ventures in favor of toys in the 1960s, Nintendo then developed into a video game company in the 1970s, ultimately becoming one of the most influential in the industry and Japan's third-most-valuable company with a market value of over $85 billion. From 1992 until 2016, Nintendo was also the majority shareholder of Major League Baseball's Seattle Mariners.
As of 31 March 2014, Nintendo has cumulative sales of over 670.43 million hardware units and 4.23 billion software units. The company has created and released some of the best-known and top-selling video game franchises, such as Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and Pokémon.
Daniel really liked this book b/c he likes playing the games Splatoons (first on the wii U and then on the Nintendo Switch). He read this book in an hour or two. It's a comic style book. He's requesting to read the whole series. I'm glad he likes reading so much!
5/5 ⭐️s: The Octo Arc wraps up *wonderfully* at the start of V8. Readers then are welcomed to the great Splatoon tradition that is Splatfest! This mini-arc was lots of fun to read; it also alludes to more challenges Team Blue will face in the form of tougher opponents. V E E M O
Even though the characters are static, I still like the whole series so far. Also each book leaves you off with a cliff hanger which makes me want to read more.
Nice to see that cliff hanger sorted out, although different context-approach compared to the game plus...looks like tentacles of all species are going to get along great after all!
Another really good book of the series. I love the ending of the Octo Arc, and the Splatfest match was a good one. I can't wait for the new tournament to start!
dont like ponytail and burns(they kinda just appeared) and eight's personality changes drasticly :( also kinda all over the place. least favorite of the series
