Ari is a curvy woman that knows what she wants and what she needs. She is at Rusty's when a man gets to pushy a guy saves her. Theo is a pro baseball player and helps Ari with the pushy guy. They fall quickly in lust, but what Ari doesnt know is that Theo is more interested than a rump in the back of a car. Short, steamy, fun to read and without drama😍😍😍

4.75/5 This was so good but why did it end abruptly like that. So more of a HFN instead of HEA. Wished we got a little bit more and an epilogue. Other than that, I loved it! The characters, the setting, etc.

I liked the set up to the story and I felt a connection to the characters, I was looking forward to seeing what happened next for them and then the story stopped.....I would have liked a bit more to their story as it didn't feel finished to me.

Protective Love is the third book in the Curvily Ever After series and is the short story about Theo Archibald and Ariana Gritner.
Theo is just about thirty years old and major league baseballs hottest pitcher. He is back in his hometown of Silver Creek and out for a drink at his old bar, Rusty's, one night. When the owner, Rusty, points out that there appears to be a damsel in distress who is in need some his services Theo is not to excited to play hero. Well that is until he sees just how beautiful the curvy woman is and then just how uncomfortable the creep sitting across the table from her is making her feel. As they say "no good deed goes without reward" and before the night is done both he and the damsel will be very satisfied with their rewards.
Ari is twenty-eight years old and still lives in the small town of Silver Creek. She is out one night at Rusty's by herself to enjoy the Rusty burger and a drink or two. At least that was the plan until a creepy guy decided to try and join her, making it obvious that he wanted to be her bed mate for the night. Luckily for her her very own knight in shining armor is about to come to her rescue.

This is a very short, fun, flirty, and sexy story. It does go barreling towards the "rewards" but along the way there is some drama and a connection made and felt by both Ari and Theo. It is an OTT lust filled story that is a nice small bite of enjoyable entertainment.

This is the second book in this collection I have read. Theo is a major league pitcher home for sometime off and sees a woman he needs rescuing. Ari is just out for a drink and good burger when a man decides that he would like her to be his for the night. He isn’t taking the hints or listening to her. Theo decides that he is going to save this woman. And maybe he will get a reward to his good deed. Ari is taken by Theo and not just because he rescues her. She knows who he is. Ari is all in for the rewards even if it is just for one night. Who knows maybe is could be longer? This was a great fast paced read. It does just kind of stop. No real ending. I wish it was just a bit longer. It is about 30 pages. These characters are great and I would love to read more about them. This is the second book that just kind of ends so I think that maybe the whole series is like that. Good job Kelsie.

This was a quick read small town romance.

Ariana Grinter is a gorgeous curvy gal. She has a realistic attitude towards dating as a BBW.

Theo Archibald is a major league baseball pitcher. He is kept semi-humble by hanging around with the people he grew up with.

They meet in Rusty's bar in their small hometown of Silver Creek. She is being hit on and harassed by a greasy haired jerk who won't take no for an answer. The bartender/owner asks Theo to help the damsel in distress. He gets rid of the guy after punching him in the nose for insulting her. They chat, dance and end up in the back seat of his truck. He asks for her number and they decide to date.

A MLB player is hanging out in the off season in his small hometown dive bar, when a gorgeous curvy woman needs to be rescued from a slimy worm of a man. Theo swoops in and rescues her and then proceeds to get to know her before taking her in the backseat of his car. However, the ending is super sweet when he expresses his desire to get to know her more and see her again. Let's you think they have a fairy-tale life after this initial hook up.

Very short, sweet, romantic, and witty story of a baseball player and a bigger, beautiful woman who meet in a local bar. Written from both Theo and Ari’s point of views, you see that one of them is thinking one night stand while the other is thinking they want to see the other person again. Who wants what and can they compromise? Love the antics of the bar owner!

This was a steamy hot novella. Theo is a hero and saves Ari. The spark between them flies and it gets pretty hot and steamy. I thought this was cute and entertaining. Note this ends on a HFN and not a HEA

Ari is at Rusty's bar when a sleazy guy decides that Ari needs his presence in her life. Theo, a MLB pitcher, is home visiting Rusty at his bar when he rescues Ari. Because Theo is older in age, he doesn't remember Ari in school but she knows who he is. Maybe this will be her knight in shining armor as they get to know each other. This is one of the books in the "Curvy Ever After" series. Enjoy!

Where does it end :)

I love these short stories! Theo, who is on a major league baseball team, steps up while in his hometown bar to help a girl out. Ari knew who he was when he charged to her rescue. They chatted, danced and ended up in his truck. Where does it end? Who knows, read the book, it's good. :)

Theo is a famous ballplayer hanging out at a hometown bar. Rusty the bar owner sends Theo over when Ari's date becomes obnoxious. Ari is smart, sassy and not looking to score with Theo. She figures he's just being nice but he finds more. Good meet cute.

Very fast paced and entertaining read about Theo and Ari. Theo saves Ari from a bad date and is instantly attracted to her. He makes it his mission to show Ari just how special she is. Ari has been hurt before and it takes her a bit to let Theo in. Chemistry and passion throughout the book. Great HEA.
