Overall an interesting book but a few areas to mention:
- a little disappointed that this is called “eating disorders” in the title, but the content is 99% about anorexia and ASD, with little to no mention of BN and BED.
- It would have also been helpful to have many more case studies to show a wider variety of ages, diagnoses and experiences, and elaborate on the differences when adapting for low/average/high IQ ASC patients.
- Would be helpful to understand the impact of pathways such as FREED and PEACE on resources, i.e. does it divert time and resources away from patients who do not fit the criteria for new specific pathways - how are the ethics managed?
