Felicity finds herself engaged to Chase, at least for a time, as a favor. It doesn't really protect him from the attentions of the women he was seeking protection from, and it really does Felicity and her reputation no good

Thanks goodness for her buddy Simon. He may be thirteen, but he is a loyal friend and sidekick - probably because he isn't yet an adult male

Romance doesn't seem to be in the cards for Felicity - at least not a happy romance

Her poor friend Cindy gets tangled in a scandal tied to folks with high moral reputations - and they have some serious dirty laundry to hide

Can Felicity unravel the mystery with her sidekick Simon? Could Chase grow up and do his job and be a good man? Is poor Felicity doomed to be another gal that men tell she deserves a good relationship as they walk away to build something with someone else? Will she and Simon survive the crazies and their cover-ups?

Deadly serious humor and insights

Felicity and her sidekick Simon are out to find the truth before her friend ends up in prison for something she did not do. There is a pesky grandmother and plenty of relationship issues to keep you glued to the pages. Enjoyed the mystery and can not wait to read more by this author.

Good follow up to first book

All around good story and ending. Everything tied up neat at the end. Recommend for a beach read\rainy day story.
