“The new school year post-war is just upon them, but an early run in for A Know It All and a Potions Professor before the doors of Hogwarts open again will have the year to come quite different than either of them expected or perhaps dared to hope for?”
The chemistry, the discussions about the books and their common interests couldn't describe better the characters. I really enjoyed "the ride" and couldn't be more happier with the ending . They deserved it and I needed that dose of happiness.
I liked this, but too many lemons, not enough story. Also, felt as though everyone recovered way too quickly after the war. Glad everyone was in a better mental space, but felt the story could have dug a bit deeper.
I did however like the coffee shop friends to lovers introduction.
I really still love the Severus/Hermione pairing. I loved their relationship build-up and the overall conversational flow between them in this. Their chemistry felt real, and their progression was nicely paced for me. I wanted this happy ending for them.
I felt like everyone moved on from the war really quickly in this. I felt like the trauma honestly wasn't deep enough or real enough in this one. It was there, but it seemed very dulled. Lots of lemons, I really was craving a bit more drama.
