I’m damaged, and he’s perfect . . . what could go wrong? Amanda I’ve been going through the ringer lately and just when I finally think I might have a break, life throws another curveball at me. My house gets broken into, and I do what any frantic woman would, I call the police. The problem? The officers they sent are drop dead gorgeous, especially Michael. The intruder was taken into custody, and now I find myself thinking about the man who came in and saved the day—quite literally. But I’m not a normal woman. I’m damaged. I’ve been through things that nightmares are made of at the hands of my ex, and I barely escaped his evil clutches. Just when I’m shaking thoughts of Michael out of my head I get into a car accident, and with my luck, he happens to be one of the first responders on the scene. At this point, I can’t deny life’s throwing us together for a reason, but my past haunts me in ways I still have a hard time dealing with. I want to give this a shot, I’m only afraid I’ll end up pushing this perfect hero away in the process.

3.5 stars Short and sweet. Love at first sight with a HEA and no real drama. Amanda and Michael met while he saved her from a break and entry... Michael started to pursue Amanda but she was hesitant and pushed Michael away.... in the end the heart always wins👍👍
It made me cringe of I'm honest. I know it's a prequel so a taster to what's to come but I didn't like anything about it to make me want to read more. The male character was arrogant and couldn't believe he got turned down when he asked the female character in a date and this was after she had robbers in her house and he had taken her for coffee at 3am after the incident. Then she had a car accident and he pulled out of the car before she was checked by paramedics and she went home without going to the hospital after the accident. Wasn't for me and won't be reading anymore
Author Summer Rose brings us instant, sizzling chemistry in “The Right Curves,” a prequel to her “Big Girls Love Bad Boys” series. Michael is a handsome, sweet, and caring cop who is immediately entranced by curvy, beautiful elementary school teacher Amanda, a strong, intelligent woman who has overcome more than her share of tragedy. While their connection is immediate, these characters and their short, but electric storyline are relatable, and I found myself wanting to know what happens next.
One minute she was wearing a negligee then she went to get a coffee with him to a late diner! Wearing the negligee still i presume? The plot is there, but does not make a lot of sense to me... Also it is a shame he did not take charge in the bedroom. She never explained what happened to her either, or why the guys broke into her apartment - i know some novels are short, but least some make sense.
At 53% I just wanted wish this away! It was like a bad attempt by a high school kid. Who comes down in a skimpy negligee and goes out for coffee in it? PROOFREADING! What first responder removes a crash victim from a car without securing their neck and back? Again... PROOFREADING! Overall quality of writing was poor. Characters and storyline need help. Is there a happy ever after? I don't know and wasn't going to find out. Sorry! 🧐
It's A very cute story with a sad romantic past relationship who is scared to take another chance at love. But after she meets a police officer who saves her as someone is breaking into her house, sees him as her protector. She finally gives in to his requests for a date and it turns out great.
I would have given it more stars if it was longer, because I liked it.
When her house was broken into, she was wearing a negligence and the cop took her straight to a diner-1st. The 2nd was after their first date he unbuckled her pants but she was wearing a dress. The was rushed and had substance. The only good thing was that it was short.
This relationship tale moves with a gently, slow pace which is pleasing to me. Rose did take time to create main character personality and a semblance of affection. This patience in quality erotica genre writing resulted in a modern romance with sexual completion an ultimate mutual comfortable achievement. Work Well Done! Suggest Mature Adult Readers 18+
I loved this story of Michael and Amanda! Summer Rose has written a story that makes you what more. Will Michael be able to get Amanda to go out with him? Would love to see more of this couple. Way to go Summer!!!!
Cute short story. Amanda and curvy women with low self confidence due to a horrible relationship is shy and scared to let anyone in. Michael a cop that comes to her rescue more that once is determined to break her walls dow and get to know her.
Amanda is a teacher. Michael is a cop. They meet when Amanda has a break in. The attraction is immediate. But after her last relationship was abusive Amanda is afraid to let anyone in. Can Michael gain her trust and break down that wall? Will there be a HEA?
This was a short instalove read. This book felt rushed and Michael became too insistent too quickly of his keen interest that this love story felt a bit creepy. I don't entirely believe that they could have fallen in love so quickly, there wasn't great character development.
By chance Amanda met her savor when her home was broken into. Then her was there again when she was in a car accident. Times change for her to see that not all men are bad.
I really enjoyed this story. It took a little bit to get started but after that it was pretty good. The only thing I didn't like was that it was really SHORT!
I love curvey girl books because I am one. I love stories that are to have some kind of romance for the curvies. Us big pretty girls never get the good guys and in the books it's totally opposite and fun to imagine. Men in uniform are the best kind of guys for the curvies. Love the book.
Actually a pretty good prequel even though she took him to bed pretty quick and please he should have gotten her off at least once before he got his. At least he did make it up.
