It rings synonymous with hustle and to bear it means you personify what it is to be a boss. On the streets of Houston it holds major weight and is never to be taken lightly. In their hood it brings status, garners respect, and defines loyalty. To break bread with a Broadus is an honor but to actually be a Broadus is to be part of a brotherhood. A legacy. A bond so unbreakable that it would take several armies of adversaries to penetrate it.

Fresh off an almost four year bid, Casei Broadus has returned to the streets of Houston with a brand new mindset. For reasons only a few are aware of, the known problem child of the family now possesses a determination to remain on the right side of the law that he’s never had before.

In his absence, relationships amongst his brothers and parents have deteriorated greatly, prompting Casei to do whatever is necessary to bring his family back together. However, things with his loved ones aren’t so cut and dry and when deep family secrets are exposed, resulting in even more division amongst the brothers, he learns rather quickly that even the best laid plans are subject to unravel when powerful outside forces are working against you.

When Casei once again finds himself with a target on his back he’s tempted to react the only way he’s accustomed and that’s with violence. In addition to family issues and street drama, he is also faced with having to choose between reclaiming the love he lost or finally letting go and moving on with the new lady in his life. With the odds stacked against him, will Casei be able to keep his vow to stay out of trouble or will circumstances force him to release the savage he’s been trying to suppress, landing him back behind bars?

Perfect Ending

I loved Casei's book. From beginning to end I enjoyed reading about him and Lola trying to find their way back to each other. Casei's relationship with Breeze was so cute and I'm glad everyone who tried to stop their happiness got dealt with accordingly. Can't wait to read Triggas book!!!!

Top of the line BDE

Casei Broadus is everything... even within his flaws he's a woman's dream. Loyal, compassionate, sexy, caring, protective... I can go on with his qualities... but what really stands out is that BDE and his demanding hott sexy ways. The love he has as the eldest brother connects directly to my heart! I am so ready for more of the Broadus journey... we've had them for so long, ion want them to go! Great job Shantae on this classy, sexy, hood love story! 💯🎊🎉👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

A long review, but hell. The book is over 400 pages.

Emmanuel is still my favorite of this trilogy, but Casei came in at a CLOSE second.

I really wanted to give this one only 4 stars because the layers and layers of toxicity going on in this book was way too damn much! But nonetheless, I added a half of a star because it was still good.

Now, let's discuss these 400+ pages. ALLLLLLL of that and we STILL didn't get to the topic of what ended up being the deleted scene at the end. W T F?! Come on man! I really need these authors to stop throwing everything but the kitchen sink into these books and just stick to the main point of the storyline! So much other shit could've been a 'deleted scene' but I've noticed a pattern with the author with this trilogy. She kept adding drama to stretch the stories out when it wasn't even necessary. Thankfully it didn't get too boring or dry, but STILL.

One thing this series DID portray, whether true or false, is that there are some sorry ass men in the city of Houston, TX, and that surprises me (a little). I'm not sure if this was the plan, but yeah. Sis let us know about the dating pool in that city. FULL of a bunch of controlling ass negroes! Every dude in this series was trash. Taking their women through all of the BULLSHIT for over half their lives. That was so disturbing and sad to witness.

And speaking of the women, Chandler and Ayla got on my everlasting NERVES this series. Chandler always seems to make everything about her. Girl, go somewhere and get married. Ayla, from what I read in the previous two stories of this series, wasn't for love at one point in her life, but like a person that's been married for all of two seconds, she's handing out advice NOBODY asked for. I hated how they were ganging up on Kambre when it was VERY CLEAR that she wasn't comfortable having that conversation about her relationship. Talk about NOT reading the room. They tried it with Lola, but she shut that shit down in her own little way, and I was here for it. Mind the business that pays you.

The best part of this entire book was little Miss Breeze. Too adorable for words, and I loved her and Casei's relationship. The daddy-daughter dates were the cutest. I was glad to see him teaching his daughter how to be treated by a man. I also loved that Lola told Breeze who her father was. That was the sweetest thing, when she looked up and said, 'I know you. You're Big Casei!'.

All in all, it was a great series. I know Trigga's story is going to be a good one. At least it should be, but if it's over 300 pages, I may have to skip it. Or read it anyway and skip a few chapters until I get to the business at hand, whatever that may be.

I honestly don’t know where to start with this review as all things about this book were perfect. Shantae is still new to me but being that I have three of her books down I can say she is a beast with the pen. This series as a whole gave me everything, I needed but Casei and Lola’s story took the cake.
Casei was always mentioned in the earlier books as the brother that was locked up. He still had an air about him but actually meeting this man was an entirely different moment. BDE was flying off the pages of this book. The “man in charge” vibes mixed with the love and adoration he had for his family as well as Lola was beautiful. I absolutely loved Lola. I didn’t think I would in the beginning but after reading about her and Casei’s past I completely understood her moves, though I wouldn’t agree with all of them because well… it’s Casei. Shantae gave her so much backbone and feistiness that it was hard not to love her. The pain (past and current) from Casei as well as her family was hard to read but she came out on top in the end making her the perfect heroine. This story as a whole was written so well. The twists and turns mixed with hilarity experienced from one page to the next was so engaging. I try not to base a book’s review on characters alone, but this series is one of the best I’ve ever read due to the characters and their dynamics. This book was a great ending to the series of course I want more from the Broadus crew but after finishing this book I have feeling they will definitely make pop-up appearances in the future and I can’t wait.

CASEI, CASEI, CASEI

This book here was all that. The author did an excellent job putting this story together. Very well written. Whew Chile, those Broadus brothers are something else. Casei is definitely that brother you wouldn't mind getting a chance to be with. I loved every part of this book and worth the wait to read. Casei is the true definition of his brother's keeper and the way he looked out for those within his circle was truly honorable. I loved his father daughter relationship with Breeze. My heart melted every time they were together. This book really gets to the core of the deep dark secrets that have been held between the major players in this book and why the revenge and hatred was at an all time high. Casei along with his brothers know how to get the job done when eliminating the snakes. In the end everyone is happy and starting the next chapter in their lives. Can't wait to get read Yungs story.

A Good Time Was Had!!

Wow! You have to have hats off at this story. The writer continues with same energy from the two previous stories. Casei is one of the older brothers, he cones home after being set up. When he finally gets with the live of his of his life,Lola things really take off. You are not only going to get some of the most explosive, but some of the most sexy and heartfelt scenes. The one who steals the show whenever she's in the scene is the daughter Breeze. In this story all loose ends are tied up, all the bad guys get what they got coming and love wins out. Please 🙏 invest your vauble reading time on not only a great story but one really good series. Now I just have one small thing to say,I think we deserved to get a story for Donovan. No one can be that well put together, without knocking down a few doors.

What can I say

This was such a wild ride and a wonderful wrap up of the Broadus Brother series. Casei and Lolo’s story had so many surprising twists and turns and answered all the major questions I had. I would have loved to hear about Donavon’s wedding☺️Although all the brothers were with women the loved dearly and each woman was a ride or die for her man. However LoLo In my opinion was the queen of ride or die. The love the two of them had for each was true🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 and let me say there is just no way you can read this book and not fall in Love with their daughter Breeze.

I don’t want to give anything away, So I’ll say this was good read. Thanks Shante’ for that deleted scene after the book ended. That definitely answered A huge question that I had 😂. I’m definitely looking forward To Trigger’s Story I’m sure it’s going to be very interesting ❤️

It’s the Deleted Scene for Me

Casei came out of prison on go BUT trying to remain chill and not land himself back in prison. He handled the set-up of his own Father and a close individual in his brother’s crew BUT still had to fight his way of not ending up back in jail. LoLa on the other hand was a rebel but her father was a piece of work that stopped her from trying to be in Casei’s presence. I’m happy everything worked out for both Casei and Lola AND their daughter Breeze. Btw Breeze definitely had her Father wrapped around her finger. The deleted scene though had me at WOW especially since Trigga and Casei share the same birthday. LOL! The Broadus Brother’s series was amazing! Now I patiently wait for Trigga’s story...

Whew chile....I knew this one was gonna be FIRE..

We all knew the Broadus Brother's were the bomb diggity but big bro Casei tops them all. Loved his confidence he knew he was THAT MAN at all times. Lola tried it, acting like she wasn't still in love with him, see she got her act right real quick. The scenes with the lady probation officer were hilarious I knew he was playing her, too bad she didn't. Hope we get to see some of Casei and Lola's HEA during Trigga's story which I am HYPE for.. Looking forward to seeing Casei's full reaction at realizing Trigga is his son. Excellent series and it's highly recommended.

OUTSTANDING ENDING!

First let me say thank you for y wonderful piece of art in the written word. So we'll written. No errors. This book held me captive since the beginning of the series. Those Broadus brothers are something else. Casei, Donavan ,Taheed and Emanuel I would be more than happy to entertain one of them, ooh yeah. Glad everything came together for the better for them. The deleted scene my goodness, can't wait for that JUICY story to drop. Thanks again Ms. Shontaé.

Wow!

As suspected, Casei came through and regulated. Talk about close family relationships, the Broadus brothers definitely had each other’s back. This book was a great ending to the series, although I would not mind reading more about these men and their relationships. The thing that I loved most about this book was the way that Lola made sure that Breeze knew who her father was even though he wasn’t around. Great story, great writing and overall great series! I’d definitely recommend this entire series to anyone who loves to read.

Loved It!!!!

This final book in the series was EVERYTHING!!! I really thought Manny was going to be my favorite, Tah was just a butt hole, but that dang Casei, OMG. This book definitely answered all questions and was worth every dime and time. Now that deleted scene, Yung will be everything and I can't wait for his book and how that relationship is going to play out with his Father's and Nece. First time reading this author with this series and was definitely not disappointed.

My girl Shantae' has done it again. The ending to the Broadus brother's series was all that I imagined it to be. Casei muthaf'n Broadus is the man! This book made me laugh, cry and cuss. It was definitely a good read. I'm not going to spoil the story but I strongly advise everyone to read this series....you won't be disappointed. Now, I'm going to sit back & wait for Trigga's story😊

Ok read

This would have been so much better if it didn’t Take to the end of the book for Casei and Lola to get together. It dragged for me but it wasn’t a bad read. It just the whole book was focused on “fixing issues” and we didn’t get to experience L&C together except for the couple of times they had sex and a few conversations and arguments. I can say I love his relationship with his daughter though.

Well the Broadus Boys are everything!

To say I have been patiently waiting for this last piece to the Broadus series and was not freaking disappointed! I truly enjoyed this series and the close out story was perfect and I can’t wait to see what the next generation of Broadus men do to take Houston and readers to the next level. Ms. Knox has brought a whole new level to thirsting with Casei “MF” Broadus!

Protect your future.

THIS WAS SO GOOD!!! The twist and turns in this book kept me on my toes!! This Broadus brother was all that. Loved Casei and Lola interactions and dialogue. I cleared my whole day to read this book cover to cover because once you start you don’t want to stop!!! I’m quite sure I will re-read this entire series again because I believe I will find even more nuggets about family, loyalty and love amongst other themes.

Manny is still my fave!

I am glad a lot of the loose ends were wrapped up. When I reached the end I wanted more of the story. I felt some folks got off way too easily for me even though some met a tragic end. I will say that Casei and Lola put me through some changes but my favorite parts were the interactions between Casei and baby girl, too adorable. Manny is still my favorite. That dude had me laughing so hard. The Brodaus brothers series was quite entertaining.

I enjoy the whole book. I enjoy the whole series. I can't wait to read Young Tigga's story. I know it's going to be so juicy. All 3 books had me laughing, crying, and cussing at the same time. What I love most about Casei’s story was his relationship with his daughter. Shantae’ you did your thing with this series. Hands down wonderful job!!

Amazing Read

This author is new to me, but I AM A FAN. I loved her writing style, characters, and storyline. This is one of my top favorite brother series. My only critique would be editing. In all the ebooks, there were multiple places throughout where there would be random words in a sentence missing or additional words that should have been deleted.

Nice end to series

Honestly, Casei wasn't my favorite at first, but he grew on me when I got more understanding of his background. All the missing pieces from the previous books came together in this finale.

Casei was the man!

I love a second (even when it’s more like 10th) chance story as much as the next book-reader, but this one right here takes the cake! Casei was tough but did not play about Breezy or Lo. Enjoyed taking in the Broadus Brothers once again.
