Man is by nature a social animal and a society is an integral part of our social existence, it can not be ever completely avoided. It is essential for the all round development of an individual to meet and satisfy the societal expectations of life. And in a large society various communities tend to define each other with definite standards and attach certain ideas and actions that they automatically adhere to.
What happens when such structures choose to stray away from societal harmony to absolute power?!.
Chloe, a seventeen year old out on the run from people of power waiting to devour her for the truth she has learned about the evils that they have committed. Separated from her her family and her twin brother, she finds safety among the free gypsies, who are on the verge of a revolution.
Hero, a guardian who has been promoted to a teacher due to his newly achieved fame for saving innocent people from grave danger, loses his sister, his friends and most importantly his lover as a result. Doom and despair wrecks havoc in his life till he meets another enslaved girl who reminds him of the evil that hasn't gone away yet. Now it's back again almost mocking him for his inefficiency.
A new revolution is going take place and he and his sister are beckoned to lead it. Every step they take is being watched and plotted against. How will they lead the people to a better future?!. Will they be able to do what is necessary and fight boldly with powers so strong and deep they can't trust the ones they fight along with.
Such an amazing book with an engaging story line. One can not wait to know what happens next in this thrilling saga. A must read if one likes wars, revolutions and political entanglements.

A unique storyline mentioned in the book description forced me to get my hands on this book. It's really difficult to describe in words, how much I enjoyed this novel and how much I liked the plot. The blurb was exciting and that made me read the whole book in 2-3 days. The story is unique, full of unexpected events and suspense that kept me interested till the end.

This is the book 2 in the Metal's Bane Series and you will follow the journey of Hero and Chloe. They are separated now and Chloe must find her place among the Gypsies and she must keep herself safe from the reach of the Golds. On the other hand, Hero finds himself falling deeper into the leadership of the Guardian's Institute. With Mark and Asha gone and Nike working behind the scenes, there may be no one left he can trust- not even himself. As the story progresses, my curiosity to know more and more got stronger, I wanted to see whether Chloe and Hero will reunite or not?
I really liked both the characters - Hero and Chloe and how they try to fight with the evils.

I won't say much about the plot, except to say there's something so interesting to read for everyone. The story is action packed with lots of drama. The suspense element created in this story is just mind blowing. There are some secrets that you will come to know while turning the pages and you won't be able to put it down. If you like reading dystopian stories, you should definitely grab both the books of this series.
