Honestly, I definitely expected more from this book. I am a big fan of bone broth, basically this is just a diet book that adds bone broth. The author recommends nixing nearly all food besides produce, certain meat and fish, eggs, and a few condiments. There really isn't unique or new about it, just very diet focused. The health advice is so so. The parts about the dangers of many additives is true and has been well documented, however, some things the author states were simply not true or backed up by current research.
The recipes mainly sounded yummy but she does include a lot of expensive meats that are well out of our price range and I'm assuming many others. There are some pictures, but it would have been nice to see pictures for each of the recipes. Overall I really wasn't impressed by this book. There is really no new information and the extreme diet isn't sustainable and can lead to nutritional deficiencies.
Eh….pretty much zero new information. Just another no carb, starvation diet with the addition of her expensive bone broth powder. Very vague outlines, too many client stories….I don’t particularly want to hear about others’ “success stories”, I want information that I can use for my own weight loss efforts. This book does not deliver that. She also offers a “ contact me”, which I have utilized numerous times, but all you get are links to buy more of her expensive crap.
In 2016 I gained a tremendous amount of weight due to getting incredibly sick and undergoing multiple surgeries and countless treatments over several years. Sadly nothing I did helped my ailment, and all that came out of it was more pain and suffering, and even more weight gain. Since then I have tried multiple diets, treatments, and supplements and nothing helped. Then I was given Dr. Kellyann’s Bone Broth Diet.
I don’t know if it was me starting this book, or the fact that I recently turned forty, but it was like a spark was light within me, and ever since then I have dug deep and for the first time in years am fighting for weight loss, and my health.
Though I haven’t tried all of the principles taught in the Bone Broth Diet, I have gotten a good idea of the program, and all it entails, and I have to be honest, though being straightforward, it feels like it could be tough to implement. In saying that, there are a lot of resources to help you through your journey, including some decent recipes to keep you eating right, and inspirational before and after photos and testimonials, and troubleshooting tips, to help give you that boost to keep you going for the long haul.
Though I haven’t implemented this diet yet, I can see its merit, and see it being a decent resource. It is easy to read, and chock full of recipes, even if many of them aren’t very unique. There are a few hidden gems within these pages and even if you don’t read it for the diet overall there is some good information about health and wellness that we all can use.

I, like most women take care of others easily. But when it comes to myself, it's a chore and overwhelming. However, because of the way Dr. approaches the physicality of the bone broth fast /lifestyle as well as the emotional aspect of taking care of yourself and making a transition there as well, I am feeling hopeful and excited to start this journey to a new body and mind.
Thank you Dr. Kellyanne for getting me pumped! Can't wait to share my progress with others after completing the 21 day bone broth diet and the continuation of my transformation.
I want all my friends and family to read the book even if they don't do the diet. There is so much more to this book than that. There are many great tips for making a transformation mentally and physically. It was so. Relatable that I couldn't stop reading and was sad that it was over. This definitely a book I will re-read over and over for inspiration!!
Wow, shocking news. If you eliminate the majority of types of food you would usually eat, you end up losing weight. She says it's because the foods "Cause inflammation" but I would bet it has something to do with not being able to eat anything in most situations where you would normally eat. Didn't find she provided much evidence for many of her claims, most of the book was recipes (whose decision was it to have the recipes read out loud in the audiobook version??) and testimonials.
Something that bothered me a bit was in her bone broth recipe she says to cook the bones with a bunch of fresh vegetables and then throw out all the solids. That seems sooooo wasteful with what fresh vegetables cost. I would rather just eat it all as a soup than throw away good food so I can go on this diet. This diet must be for only the most rich people especially with her repeatedly saying to get organic and grass fed food.
I really enjoyed giving this diet a try but minus the fasting. I’m not sure why I find fasting horrible but eating great food is a way of life not to be ignored. I loved reading about the health benefits that bone broth gives you and it definitely has made my pants more loose. I’ve recommended it to a few friends as well. It will be interesting to see what kind of results I get after a month. Thanks so much for allowing me to read this book and I am voluntarily leaving this review! Five stars!
I love bone broth for dinner and I was interested in this diet but I didn't really like the format of the book and I wouldn't personally purchase it for myself. Just not for me. I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review
Easy to follow instructions on how to lose weight. This diet won’t be fun to follow at first but stick with it. You will see results. My problem, and it has zero to do with the book or the authors advice, I quickly realized I don’t like bone broth. *face palm* The recipes included are great too.
