She felt his strength. Lovely Laura Nichols fled her uncle's home when she was forcibly engaged to a fat ugly old man. But when her stage was attacked by bandits, leaving her in the Texas wilderness with roguish Blake Saunders, the innocent beauty wondered if bad luck was her lot. The detestable rancher made her flesh burn with some nameless craving; he assaulted her se... more »nses as no man ever had before. Yet even as she shuddered at the horror of being all alone with the arrogant stranger, she tingled with anticipation of what delights the night would bring. He traced her curves. Right from the start, adventurous Blake Saunders knew that proper, prim Laura wasn't his type. But even as he denied it, the luscious witch's body drove him wild. He had to explore the silken skin that beckoned from beneath her gown; he had to taste the source of her honeysuckle scent, especially now that they had survived the outlaw gang, Blake was possessed by a primitive urge to affirm his vitality. Ignoring her protests, he embraced Laura, kissed her, caressed her, aroused her, and made her the slave of this Texas Rogue.

LaRee Bryant writing credentials include the first two books of a cozy mystery series, eight historical novels, two how-to books, and many articles.

LaRee was born in Oklahoma. Her family moved to Texas when she was very young and Texas has been home ever since. An avid reader from the time she could hold a book, as a child she penned many stories – some with new characters and tales, some innocently based on favorite books and the beloved characters therein. In the early ‘80s she finally took the plunge, joined some writing groups and began an earnest pursuit of her long-held dream of becoming a published writer.

When not submersed in writing, LaRee taught continuing education classes which included everything from “The Business Side of Writing” to a full array of lessons on the creative elements of fiction writing and worked as a freelance editor for multi-published authors and those hoping to be published. In her spare time she raised two children, established and headed an administrative services business for not-for-profit organizations, and taught Country and Western dance lessons to multi-hundreds of people in the North Texas area. She wrote and self-published an instruction book for the lessons that sold like hotcakes, created a dance lesson program for the local cable TV station which ran for a number of years, and scripted a set of LP-recorded lessons for a record producer that wound up being that company’s biggest seller ever.

LaRee’s love of all things connected to the written word has never dimmed.
