All my life I never imagined I might be a pawn in a dangerous game between two crime lords with a decades-old vendetta. But as the secret daughter of one of them, that's suddenly within the realm of possibility. At least unless the three men tasked with my protection manage to do their jobs.
The problem is, one of the three is my boss—a man who owes my father a favor—and the other two are twins I knew as a kid who now handle his security, and who are definitely not kids anymore. Trapped in a tower with these three, I'm beginning to question my sanity. This high-rise is starting to feel too small for the desires we all seem to share.
Ophelia Bell is the author of the super steamy Sleeping Dragons series. Ophelia loves hot alpha heroes, especially if they’re dragons, but believes the world needs more alpha heroines, so has made it her mission to make that happen. Ophelia grew up on a rural farm in North Carolina and now lives in Los Angeles with her sexy tattooed alpha husband and five-and-a-half attention-whoring cats (one of them is exceptionally large and might actually be a dragon in disguise).
This series is getting better by the book,so i was very happy when the opportunity arrived to read and review The Devil’s Daughter. The enemy is still at large, and Arturo’s daughters are still at risk. In the Devil’s Daughter,we get the story of the baby of the Santos family,Elle. And she may be the baby, but she knows what she wants, and isn’t afraid to ask for it,that’s for sure!
Arturo asked his friend Drake to keep an eye on his youngest daughter Elle. So,he offers her an internship at his company,Typhon, plus he moves her into his penthouse. Not only that, she’s got 2 bodyguards now….2 very familiar bodyguards! Baz and Ben have been a part of most of her life, and Arturo was more than happy to assign them to her.
The question is,what ís the nature of their relationship, apart from the bodyguard part? And Drake, where does he fit in all of this, apart from being her boss, mentor and “landlord”? Truth is,she likes all three men,but how do they feel?
Drake has spent most of his life behind a selfbuilt wall, showing a man in control of himself all of the time. The reason for this is the trauma left behind by his late father, and he doesn’t know how to get past it. Until Elle…she seems to unlock feelings he kept buried with a single glance,or a teasing gesture.
The twins have been protective of Elle from the moment they got to know her. They both want more, but can they live with the possibility she only wants one of them? Sure, they want her to be happy, but at what cost?
And if all of this isn’t enough,Drake has been receiving threats lately. Not only that,he finds out some one has planted cameras all through his penthouse! So,he decides to relocate them to his yacht, where they’ll be safe whilst Baz searches for the source. Being this close together has a side-effect that could solve another problem, too… When Elle and Drake find Ben in the middle of a nightmare, they have a very interesting way to help him. And when they wake up together the next morning, feeling good about what happened, they decide it’s time for more. With Baz,naturally….because Elle wants it all, needs them all! After the first shock,he agrees, and soon they find a balance that seems to work.
But the threat to Drake is still there, and they’re not getting any closer to finding out who’s behind it. Can they find out in time,or will it end in disaster? Will the twins be able to keep them all safe,or will they lose Drake? Or maybe Elle, the one they all can’t live without?
This was a story that had me glued to the pages from the first page to the very last. It was a rollercoaster ride that combined romance with suspense equally. And knowing Marco’s story is next….that’s another Santos i most certainly want to hear more of!!
Sexy, Mysterious, Action, Drama and Fun. Who could ask for a better read? Elle Santos, the youngest of all the various siblings somehow out does all of them in the love department. Drake, her billionaire boss, and twins Ben and Baz have it bad for Elle. Fortunately for them, she feels the same. The Devil's Daughter involves characters from the first three books in the series plus some new players, who's storylines bob and weave amongst each other for a great book.

I enjoyed this 4th installment in the Second Skin series--glad I read the first 3, since there was a lot of references to the prior books. I had hoped the story would focus more on Elle, Ben & Baz, but instead it seemed to tip more heavily towards Drake.

This is one of the steamiest books I’ve read, since the last book I read by this author. Even though this series is steamy, we also get some fantastic stories centered around the Santos siblings. If you enjoy books with strong family connections, suspense, sexy times, and most of all, love, you’ll love this entire series.
I thoroughly enjoyed Elle, Drake, Baz and Ben's story. The protection the twins are providing soon includes Drake, as well. Secrets are exposed, and accepted. I'm looking forward to the next book for a couple major threads to be tied up. This is a suspenseful and sexy read.
This is a hot and steamy read with plenty of adventure and intrigue that keeps you riveted to the end. After Elle finds out that her father is actually Arturo Flores putting her in the line of fire from Amador she finds herself living in Drake Stavros penthouse with the twins Ben and Baz as her personal bodyguards. Arturo has asked Drake to give Elle an internship at his company and keep her safe. During her stay she finds cameras all over the penthouse and she decides to get her own back on the twins who are obviously spying on her by doing a sexy dance for them. But Drake checking her work by looking at her laptop realises that these cameras didn't belong to them. It's then that he confesses to the twins that a threat to make him stand down from his company. The threat is about something that happened in his past that would destroy him if it came out. They flee the penthouse and go to his boat. This is where the men all agree that they loved Elles' dance and that all three of them are interested in her. But how can they be in a relationship with her and protect her at the same time? I really enjoyed this story of how the relationship developed between the four of them. Hot, steamy bedroom scenes (and other places too). A really good story as they race to find out who is threatening Drake's life especially as they are all heading towards a gala evening where they will be more at risk. Loved that fact that all the families were at the gala too. Giving us a catch up on the others that we have met previously and the introduction of new characters. Few surprises in store too as old enemies rear their heads and threaten our lovers' safety. Loved it! I'd give this one more than 5 stars if I could.

Sucked me in from the start, HFN ending for the foursome but the last chapter is from Marco that will lead into his story. Best if read in order, in my opinion. Started off with Maddox (Santo’s oldest brother) with his 2 love interest Celeste & Leo. Then Mason (formally J.Santos Jr) and his Doctor, Callie. Then we met Sam (Youngest Santos Brother) and his obsession Toni (Quin) Valentine (half sister to Celeste- same dad). Now we have the Santo’s only sister Ellie. Who is also half sister to Celeste & Toni. Now here even more of a kicker. Toni V. is the half sister of the twins Baz & Ben (same mother different fathers). Now we got a new character into the mix Drake Stavros who is a broken man (his words) because of what his father did to him and what he witnessed as he cleaned up what his father did to others. His kink, he watches women/men, so he thinks he’s broken with a dark secret. He loves women but won’t touch them but has been with men, he claims that they are easier to deal with in the sex department. Drake likes to watch Ellie but also like to watch the twins, especially Ben. Ben is also broken up from the time where their mentor Manny was murdered and suffers from night terrors, this is when the start of this foursome relationship into love and exploration into unconventional love. Ben is the bisexual twin, Baz is the straight twin but has no problems with Drake looking at him but nothing too intimate. There isn’t no body really left out of the intimate scenes, only the first one but Ellie knew why Baz wasn’t there but wished he was. We get some cameos from Maddox, Celeste, Leo, Toni, Mason, Callie, Marco ( Next book), Sam, Arthur Flores, the mothers of the twins and Ellie’s but also an enemy of the past books that pop up and disappeared until the next time.
This is a very steamy book and I will issue a warning if you are not into male-on-male action this is not the book for you, if you are not into one woman with multiple consenting men this is not the book for you. There is no cheating as all parties are very much aware and participating in all horizontal activities.
Elle Santos has grown up thinking her life was one thing only to find out it was a lie. Finding herself being hunted she is sequestered with Drake her new boss and her two body guards from her childhood twins Ben and Baz.
There has always been a bit of sexual tension between Elle, Ben and Baz and while they never acted on it, it was always a constant. Now Elle finds herself becoming attracted to her boss Drake which is adding a new layer of tension between all of them.
As the danger ratchets up, drastic security measures take them to a secluded location where the pent-up frustrations and desires come spilling out.
Secrets are revealed, danger is narrowly escaped and hearts and bodies are now intertwined. There was crazy chemistry between all four participants although at times it seemed that Drake was more of the focus than Ben and Baz. Maybe because he was older and had done more? The story for the most part was pretty tight until the end where things seemed to get a little looser and a little scattered. It was nice to catch up on the rest of the family and the crazy dynamics that is their life.
As I have read some of this author’s fantasy work, some of it did creep into this storyline with some of the horizontal moments and a certain animal theme that I have seen in that genre. Not a bad thing just an observation.

Her whole life has been a huge lie. She could never understand why her father just ignored her. Perhaps it was better than the attention her mother and four older brothers received from him, but still she just wanted him to acknowledge her. Little did she know until recently why he had ignored for all these years. Now Elle not only has four older brothers, but two older half-sisters as well, and a father that does love her and wants to protect her.
Wow!!! I loved Mad Dog and thought that Maddox, Leo and Celeste’s story was hot, but it had nothing on Elle’s story. The three men in her life are off the charts! Elle is super smart, driven, sexy and beautiful, so it’s only natural that the twins and Drake can’t stay away from her. The twins have loved her from afar for a long time, and when she opens the door to that love being open and welcomed, they have no choice but to fall in line with Drake and show her how special she is. Now she not only has four older, over protective brothers, but three over protective lovers and body guards as well. I love the Santos brothers and family and the Quin twins are just as tough, sexy, and Alpha as the Santos brothers. Elle is on her own level of tough and dangerous. I give this story a 5-star flaming review and I am ready for Marked Man next.
Book 4 The Devils Daughter by Ophelia Bell. I’ve been waiting for Elle’s book since book 1, loved the subtle romancing/teasing relationship between twins Baz, Ben and Elle. They’ve had this great budding relationship that has been under watchful eye of Elle’s brothers and Papa Flores. I loved it when there relationship went to the next level and things became more intense and very very hot. Drake is a new character introduced into this book he is a billionaire recluse that end up helping to look after Elle when I life is friend and she needs protecting. I didn’t mind Drake, I liked the relationship between Ellie and Drake and even the twins but I did feel like he was an add-on at times and sometimes overtook the relationship between the twins and Elle which was like a bit gutting because that was my main focus in this book, it didn’t ruin it for me but I felt like she didn’t need that extra I would’ve been happy just with the twins and Elle to be honest still love the series still love the book and highly recommend it can’t wait for more
This series has sucked me in from the very first book and I can't wait to read the next one. Problem is I don't know that it will be enough, I'm going to want to read more after the last one.
Arturo Flores sure got around with the women in his life, Elle Santos is also his daughter, not surprising huh?
Now Elle has her twin best friends Ben & Baz as her bodyguards and is an Intern for the infamous Drake Stavros, but the twins are working for him not Papa Flores anymore. Papa Flores did get Stavros to make her his Intern and even moved in to his Penthouse..
These guys are all hot and maybe this desire runs in her blood after all, her father and sister & brother all have, or live with more than one at a time!
It seems as though Elle may be the most adventurous of the brood though!
Arturo Flores may at long last learn the identity of the person who orchestrated his late wifes death. A lot of intrigue, mystery, action and the heavy Cartel life that this series revolves around.
This is one glorious read. Fourth book in the Second Skin series it ups the ante and lights the page on fire. Hot hot hot. Elle grew up believing her father never loved her, now she knows the truth and her world has shifted on its axis. Elle is coming to terms with being Auteros daughter. Hold up in Drakes penthouse with her two new bodyguards, the twins, Baz and Ben. When Elle finds camera's in her bedroom she decides to put on a show. Teach them a lesson. But gets a shock when she's not being watch by who she expected. The realisation that they are all at risk sees them relocation and evaluating everything they knew. Including their relationships. These characters captured my attention and my heart. I love their dynamic, the character detail and interactions. I highly recommend this book, series and author. Book 4 in this series and this is Elle’s story that includes her friends/bodyguards twins Ben and Baz AND Drake, her boss.
***May contain Spoilers***
To be honest I liked the idea of her two friends, because that chemistry was there from the beginning in book 1.
Drake was added, but I just didn’t like his story that much. It went away from the daughters of Papa Flores being kidnapped to “let’s add a new character that we know almost nothing about and have them all fall in love within one week”. I was rooting for Ben and Baz from the beginning and that last chapter just made it look like they were the side characters and Drake was her main BF.
I was hoping for a happy ending for Elle, Ben and Baz, but all we got was Drake, Drake, Drake. Not my favorite book in this series.

Book 4 delivers the intensity of the growing power struggle between rival crime empires that involves not only one of their daughters but her mentor/boss, billionaire Drake Stavros. Also, the twins Ben and Baz who are friends since childhood are now her personal body guards. Working and living in a secured penthouse ramps up the emotional involvement felt between the four and soon are spilling their hearts along with long held secrets as trust is vital to keep them all safe. Intelligent and highly creative defines how these committed men and woman embark on a relationship that is such a sensual high - you don't want to come back down! Betrayal opens the door to violence and it will take a combined effort if lives can be saved. Excellent book. I received free a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review.
As you can tell from the heading, I couldn't;t put this book down! My one complaint is that there was So much backstory going on between the characters i could not tell who was related to who, whose brother qnd whose sister were together, it was a mess! Do yourself a favor and start w book one! The storyline qnd characters were great, I just know I would've;ve enjoyed it more if I hadn't started on book 3. It peaked my interest so much that I am def going back to start from the beginning though! The steaminess, lawwddyyyy, cold showers all around, most definitely NSFW and thank goodness because I wouldn't have my books any other way!

Just sucked me in completely. Elle has two bodyguards, Baz and Ben, thanks to who her father is. Drake is Elle's boss. This is an amazing reverse harem done in the Second Skin series. I have absolutely enjoyed every book in the series so far, but this one was my very favorite one. This book has a lot of drama due to the fact that Drake is Elle's boss and should not be involved with each other and Baz and Ben are only suppose to be there to protect Elle. The characters in this book made me feel like I was there, not just reading about them. I love being totally drawn into a book and every book in the Second Skin series has achieved that.

If you are new to the series I highly recommend reading this from the start. Each book features a new romantic pairing, though a continuing storyline features heavily throughout the series. Elle is all grown up, a wonderful mix of intelligence, determination, and a charming dose of self awareness. Long held secrets and admissions have drastically impacted Elle's life. Longtime friends and current bodyguards Ben and Baz are committed to keeping her safe, while protecting their boss Drake. Things get even more complicated as danger, desire and emotion create an intense union between the quartet. This series just keeps getting better, delivering on drama, danger and heat.
Ophelia Bell never seizes to amaze me! This book, Devil's Daughter is book 4 in the Second Skin Series and follows it's storyline. I recommend reading the first three books first. This installment just continues an amazing storyline that gets complicated as the key players don't follow boundaries. This book is super steamy. Muscles,Tattoos, Power Plays, all get knocked out of the ballpark! I couldn't put it down and I read it in one sitting. Ophelia Bell delivers a well written packed package with great characters, wonderful world build. Not to mention drama, action, suspense, and steamy, steamy hot scenes. I can't wait for the next installment of this series. Thanks Ms. Bell.😎🥊🔥❤‼
Wow loved the book it was great the story was written well and the characters were incredible. This story has so many twists and turns that just kept you guessing it was hot and even dark. Arturo asked Drake to keep Ellie safe and stay close to her to protect her. Drake had Ben and Baz the twins who work for him in security by putting cameras everywhere in Drake's Penthouse, she ended up having the three men living with her and they need to find out who was trying to kill her. It starts getting really hot and steamy, arousing, sizzling hotness and lots more.

—>>> High drama, heat, and mafia action - This read delivers a heavy cast of characters and a lot of connections which I might have benefitted from knowing through the earlier books of this series, had I read them. Nevertheless, there was plenty of drama and mafia action, accompanied by enough backstorying to keep the storyline rolling for me. Great chemistry between Elle and her bodyguard twins and then the individual interactions between these three and their boss, Drake. Their book ends on a good note, with a clear way ahead for the next characters focused on in this series.
This was such an amazing read! I’m so happy to see the twins get their story with Elle and throwing Drake in there was just perfect! This was a very enjoyable read that I couldn’t put down! It has plenty of action, drama, intrigue, and so hot! The chemistry between these characters was just off the charts! I love all these characters and have enjoyed every book in this series and I highly recommend reading them all!

Ophelia Bell lights up our hearts, and bodies, with The Devil’s Daughter: Second Skin book 4.
Each of these books have lead us into climactic territory, as ruthless mafia and cartels, seek to overpower each other, all while innocent, and not so innocent, members of rival families find comfort, and even love, with each other.
Bell has a knack for delivering emotional drama on a level that pulls us into a world fraught with danger, while launching us into combustable physical attraction between Elle, and the men who gave desired her from afar.
I love anything written by Ms. Bell. She is just an amazing writer and find that each new book or series just keeps getting better and more intense. The characters for this series and book are so detailed. All the characters have been in the previous books. Elle is the star of this one. An amazing beautiful young woman that also has a brilliant mind. Then there is the extremely rich Drake and don’t forget the twins who have been her friends for forever. The tension and heat build and things get explosively hot. There is plenty of m/f/m with a dash of m/m too.
Book four in the series continues the story line. The author brings a cast of strong characters and does a fantastic job building the story. She pulled me in and kept me glued to the pages with all the action and drama, suspense and danger along with the smokin hot scenes. If you're into mafia romances this book/series is for you. I'm looking forward to the next book. Loved and highly recommend this book/series.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. The fourth book in the Second Skin series is about the youngest daughter Elle. She learns just where she stands with her father along with a few surprises. She finds herself ensconced with her boss and the twins as bodyguards. This changes each of their relationships. Baz, Ben and Drake each have a connection with Elle. The ending was not what I expected. I am looking forward to the final book in the series.

I fell in love with this series when I first read Mason's story. And every book in this series has absolutely not disappointed. Elle's story is no different! This book will take you on a ride intrigue, sexiness and a FMC you will adore. Her connection with her men is delightful and I couldn't get enough! Her story? Deserves several chiefs kisses! I love each book builds on one another but can be read as a standalone. Seriously read this book today! However, avoid if not into M/M or the female with multiple partners.
I sooooo wish I seen a pics of the twins in this story!! her "real" dad she just found out about had a guy keep watch over her but it turned out a little different cause the twins was there 2 protect her 2, but then it turns into a protection 4 both of them. When things start going downhill things change between the 4 of them. They will find out ways 2 protect each other especially when u love each other and as close as they have been 4 yrs now except 4 1. When u fuck with 1 u fuck with them all in some way.
I enjoyed everything about is this book. The family drama, the history, the work colleagues to lovers vibe. Friends to lovers… awkward family conversations 🤣🤣 big protective brothers and sassy mothers.
Drake is a naughty, naughty man! (here for it), though I will never see magic Mike the same again🤣🤣
Somewhere between the devil and the deep blue sea lies Ellie. Strong, smart, sassy and serious, her life changes completely when it's discovered that she is the daughter of a crime lord. And when she is assigned twins Baz and Ben for protection, their services are anything but strictly professional. Can she survive the danger that surrounds her? Will she give in to their irresistible charms? And just how will Drake's presence affect their newfound relationship?
This newest installment to Ophelia Bell's series is beyond steamy! I loved following the familiar characters through the immersive world that Ophelia created. As always she brought the heat and the love. The Devil's daughter is not lacking on suspense or action either making it a fantastic addition to the Santos series. I want to read it again and again! As always, I can not wait for the next book.
