I saw this book yesterday when a friend @tiki suggested it for a menage group read. the premise was too premise-ing (eheh again) that I start reading right up! Was not disappointed at all! The ending for book 1 was sooooo not okay, but it is actually unique and expected for this type of genre! luckily there's book 2 and 3 so you better not disappoint me with the HEA. I can't see Bobby and Angelo being all alone and shit no! not if you don't want ME to zap you in the dick!! \(^.^)/

Well, this was one exciting and hot story for Angelo, Bobby and Mark, not to mention Angelo's new bride Matilda, aka Tilly. Tilly is just a pawn in a world ruled by men but she's not without her secrets and weapons. Angelo treats her well enough, he really tries to help her accept him, her new life plus Bobby and Mark. Tilly has a unique relationship with all three men and learns fast where her loyalties should be, but she's not immune to temptation. Angelo surprised me with his compassion and understanding of Tilly and even accepts how Mark and Bobby feel about this female invading their lives for both the good and bad that it involves. In reality, Tilly is just a pawn in the game of men and power. I loved how Tilly got along with Mark and even her wary acceptance of Bobby, who hates her on sight. Angelo is another story, there is no avoiding the draw and attraction that is the dynamic Angelo, whom I have loved from the first time I read about him. There was danger, sex, excitement and love in this completely enjoyable story of complicated love with Angelo.
I totally adored how this story kept my attention and interest in every word of this book and the ending was the perfect topping of it all. TEN STARS!!!

Hello. We are gathered here today, so I can say a word or ten about Loki Renard’s Broken Bride. Are you ready? That was a tasty read. I’m currently working my way through the epicness (it’s a word!) that is Angelo Vitali, and Tilly is the perfect addition to his menagerie. The new bride is everything that you might not expect in the new addition to the household, but she’s exactly where she should be and her seemingly unaffected behavior is perfect. Angelo is the king of his domain and Ms. Renard brilliantly executes his moves across the chessboard in such a gleeful way that I might have giggled a time or three. Because Angelo is nothing, if not on top of all in his domain. But then again, he seems to thrive with the unexpected. And by unexpected, I mean BOBBY! Oh yea. Granted, this would not be a Loki Renard story without all the smexy, ouchy, mind-duckiness, and she delivers on those in the most delicious ways. I am at risk of revealing a spoiler. Are you ready? *Takes a deep breath* It’s entirely possible. That all the members of this menagerie. Might just have a touch of … humanity in them. Teeny-tiny bit. But then again, maybe not. I highly recommend the stories that precede this so that you can fully immerse yourself in Angelo’s world. Trust me, it will be more enjoyable that way.

This is definitely a Loki book and I like this world with Angelo and his boys.
I could have used more sexy times, there were far less than I would have thought and some fades to black that I would have rather didn't, but overall enjoyable if you like her style and the way she manipulates stories and twists endings. I do enjoy it as it's a bit different than your average romance but still has some version of a HEA/HFN.

I was honestly expecting Tilly's reveal to be darker but maybe I read too much pitch black romance!

Tilly’s father has just been assassinated and a prospective husband she does not know about is on his way. Angelo Vitali arrives and a marriage commences immediately. As this “newly married couple” arrives home, the rest of Angelo’s family reacts in their own way. Bobby is murderously furious and Mark is concerned and worried. Angelo has a plan, but we just do not know what it is.

How can an author take simple words and weave a story that is complicated, intense, alluring, terrifying and much more intriguing than I could have ever imagined. I could not stop reading while I hovered on the edge of my seat. This is a fascinating, enthralling and enticing story.

Angelo is a Mastermind!

This book is best read after the other House of Vitali books. I’ve been fascinated with Angelo since the beginning and he intrigues me more and more with each book! The dynamics between the characters are refreshingly unique and Loki Renard has me on the edge of my seat for the next book! Please let there be a next book!

Dark, steamy and so very twisted. Angelo has had Mark and Bobby for quite some time. Now he’s adding Tilly to their twisted little family, making her his wife. Angelo knows Tilly’s darkest secret which she was sure would make the other two men hate her. They all fit together in a weird kind of way. I’m a sucker for HEA’s and this one was a HEA but just not in a way I was prepared for. But then again I don’t think it could’ve ended any other way for them

Read Broke and Bound: Box Set first. That omnibus consists of: Taken Boy, Perfect Evil, Pure Evil, and Angelo: Making a Monster. All of which were m/m. Potential spoilers for all of the above.

Angelo still has his boys Bobby & Mark, but now he finds himself capturing himself a wife. A rich, young British girl who was brutally orphaned (at 19) mere hours before Angelo took her in a sham marriage. He brought her home and let her shake up the household. Bobby wanted to kill her on sight and Mark imagined himself her knight-in-shining armor.

Despite her surface innocence, she found her fit with the rest of Amgelo’s little family. Her value growing for Bobby after he witnesses her getting caned and then fucks her under Angelo’s nose. Her true nature coming clear to Mark after her truth is shared and they too have sex. But Angelo, he could read Tilly from the start. Her need for corporal punishment and her hunger for sex with her new husband.

Love this quote:

“You’d say anything if you thought it meant I would relieve you of the burden of purity. It must weigh heavily on your filthy little mind.”

The ending was unexpected.

Matilda Braybrooke or Tilly for short has no idea what is about to happen in her new world. Being married to Angelo brings a lot more complications and darkness. Mark doesn’t believe she belongs with them. She is too fragile. Bobby is a cruel as always. The evil just drips from him. But there is something that they don’t know about Tilly. Only Angelo knows what truly lies within her.

I have to say in the beginning I thought she was sweet and innocent. But there is something about her that is all smoke and mirrors. Actually I thought it would be a lot worse. Tilly coming into their world turns it upside down. Of sure her family wants her back but no one ever takes from Angelo. Bobby is as slick as ever. He still is a brat and pushes all the buttons. Mark is such a sweetheart. He has such a caring nature. I was shocked at what happened towards the end. I did not see that coming. I also felt sad. I wanted to be different. I won’t say what happens but I guess with a twist relationship like in the Vitali House you kind of want it a certain way. I was happy sad. And to know we might read more about Angelo is thrilling. Boy did I miss this series. It has everything and just keeps drawing you in. So worth it.

Impossible to put down, devoured like the ambrosia it is!

This was so freaking good!!!! Naturally, I sympathized with Tilly due to the unfortunate and tragic circumstances she found herself in. It seems bleak for her caught between a devil, a demon, and a prince. But she has a quiet strength about her and her own past she tries her best to keep hidden. She is full of surprises and makes a fine addition to the house of Vitali. Angelo has unconventional and somewhat devious methods, but he also has a way of seeing people for who they truly are, not who they want to be or who they pretend to be. It’s easy for him to be the villain, but that isn’t always the reality. We’ve been getting to know three of these characters over a series, but I think this book in particular shows everyone in a new light. Like its predecessors, this book is phenomenal and I’m very pleased with how everything turned out, although I found it a bit surprising at first. Wonderfully done, highly recommend!!!

I suppose you could read this book as a standalone, but to truly understand the dynamics between the House of Vitali men, you should read the boxed set Broke & Bound first. After reading the Broke & Bound books, Angelo Vitali, the head of the family was just scary, hot, but really scary. I found little redeeming about Bobby, he was sassy, rude, demanding, and frankly obnoxious. And Mark intrigued me, I thought there was so much more to him under it all. In Broken Bride, we get Tilly, who uncovers the humanity in all three of the dark, dangerous men. This book is twisted, turny, steamy, fast paced, and full of action, all kinds of action. The majority of the book was told from Tilly's POV, which made this book captivating. Now I want Loki Renard to revisit these 4 from time to time. I loved everything about this book. Well done.
I received an ARC and this is my honest review

Must read prior books!

My 4* rating is only because I read the Broke & Bound series first. I know this series is touted as a stand alone. But trust me if you do not have those other books under your belt you will be lost, incredulous, bored or any combination of the three. It is essential for you to read the backstory of the Vitali's in order to understand their dysfunctional dynamic that actually works for them. That said this story was still somewhat disappointing. The emotions, behaviors, actions and reactions of the MCs did not ring true. Also the new addition to the mix did not ever truly fit. Tilly was still a mystery to me at the end but I didn't care enough to want to know more about her. Without her in the story Angelo and his boys will hopefully go back to doing what they do best. Create chaos for themselves and mayhem for everyone else. (Mark noooo)!

Up to this point, we've gotten to know Angelo, Bobby and Mark in other books but 'Broken Bride' brought a different side to these magnificent characters. And then there's Matilda, aka Tilly, who appears to be a pawn in this world ruled by men. Don't count her out though, she has her own secrets and weapons regardless of what she decides to show or hide. I don't want to give any of this story away but I was certainly surprised at the amount of compassion and understanding towards Tilly from Angelo. Up to now he's made perfect villain but I've seen a new reality. This was such a great storyline and I'm proud to recommend this.

I was so happy to see that there was a new book out about Angelo and his boys. Angelo is an amazing character, full of depth and depravity. When he takes Tilly as his bride, we get to know Bobby and Mark even better as well. This book is fantastic. All of the no nonsense, dark, and dangerous things we've come to know and love from the Vitali family, with a twist of everything Tilly brings to the table. This story shows that you can't confuse virginity for innocence. The ending left me feeling happy and sad in equal measures. Loki Renard has done it again!

Queen of Vitali..

Oh what a dark and twisty world of suspense and mystery that Angelo Vitali and his boys live in so when he goes to claim his bride in Tilly (Matilda) this puts Angelo’s boys Bobby and Mark into a spin as they adjust to having Tilly in their family...
There is more to Tilly’s story than meets the eye in this steamy, brutally mind bending tale and I loved that we got to revisit The House of Vitali...

One word I loved it the Vitali house is one twisted delicious family of 3 until one more is added and shakes things up. Angelo, Bobby and Mark all have there opinion of Tilly a woman in the house. We get protectiveness, jealousy and punishments. This is a harsh and powerful house but it gives off so many feelings and I didn't want it to end. I love these characters and the writing is outstanding that it consumes you and you can't put it down ever.

A Twisty Tale

This is a phenomenally dark book, or it’s a fairy tale by the Grimm’s. It has anti-heroes and one anti-heroine. I would like to say it has a HEA, in a twisted sorta way. I can say if you like dark weird storytelling you will love this book. The writing and grammar is excellent. Reynard masterfully takes us down such a twisty path, we never know exactly where she’s going. It’s worth reading for sure.

Two hot men and now a wife, Angelo may have his perfect family, providing he can keep his new wife safe from a danger lurking. Angelo also has to learn how to share with Bobby and Mark as each of their bonds grow.

This book had my attention from the first page. All the characters were wonderfully written and their chemistry undeniable. It also had just the right amount of sex, passion, and intrigue; however, it had an ending that I did not see coming.

Perfect Ending for a dark love

I wasn't ready for the ending I got but it's really perfect actually! An amazing series that I originally chose because I wanted to see an author really get me invested in the bad guy. How bad can they be and still be redeemed by the end? Angelo Vitali fit the bill!

Deviously delicious! Angelo is my dirty, guilty pleasure; and adding a woman to the unholy triad of Angelo, Bobby, and Mark is a delicious twist. We should always expect the unexpected in the Vitale world, but we also know that we will be treated to a decadent, devious tale sure to leave its mark on your soul long after you turn the last page. Long live Angelo Vitale.

Very dark

I got through this book but I'm not sure how. It was so dark and depraved, it was actually hard to read. I did enjoy one part of it. Maybe because I had not read any of the others it seemed more off putting. I wonder what the author was thinking when it was done? I appreciate the work that the author put into writing it.

Good story.

Tilly marries Angelo, and he takes her home where Mark and Bobby also live. Angelo is not his usual cruel self with Tilly. He shows her kindness and. Compassion. There are some steamy scenes, as well as danger and action. I never expected one decision Angelo made, and I did not expect the ending.

Surprisingly good

I was not sure I would finish this book because it is such a strange concept. But I decided to give it a try. I was surprised by some of the situations (not all though). But I liked the characters, and there is a good story line. Surprising ending, too. I’m glad I finished it instead of my first impression and my thoughts of returning it unread.

A New Begining

This series starts off with a bang and the house of Vitali is never the same. Good character development, psychosexual drama at it’s best and life with Angelo and the boys with a twist. Good story line, not as raunchy as the previous series but engaging in a similar way.

Fun

So entertaining! Had some twists I didn’t see coming. And I just love a happy ever after, especially when I really didn’t expect it to be so sweet. That being said, yes, it’s still dark!

Family

I'm still trying to figure out if this story was sadly sweet or sweetly sad. That being said I loved it!! There are more sides to Angelo, Bobby and Mark that are revealed and secrets about Tilly as well! Sexy, some violence, a little warped and a great twist of an ending!
