I am not the prettiest of men, but I know what I want and what I want is her...
In this cruel world, there are not many angels like you, but from the moment I saw you I knew you could save me. Your innocent eyes brought me hope, your kissable lips gave me life and I knew that nothing could stand between you and me.
Not even him. And so I did what I had to do, to make sure you'd forever be mine. When you smiled at me, I knew you understood. And now, I am never letting you go.
not gonna lie, this book made me a little uncomfortable. The H was a bit too much. Maybe I would have liked it more if it was longer and more developed. Safe
Oh my God, what did I just read 😳! This book was twisted and craaaazy. And this is coming from someone who loves stalker romances. There were a few scenes where it shocked even me, and I've read quite a few twisted romances. (Namely the poor plant scene that made me laugh and shake my head in disbelief, and uhhh... the thing with the hero's weiner.) All I can say is that the hero in this is one sick puppy. The only way he'd be made more depraved is if he crossed the threshold into a serial killer, which he all but did. Then again, I'm pretty messed up in my tastes, so I loved it. I was pleasantly surprised to read a stalker romance that managed to shock and horrify me - I've read so many that not much shocks me anymore.
In this story, it starts with an exciting and suspenseful beginning of our heroine Brooklyn escaping and being rescued from a crazy stalker who broke into her home. Brooklyn is rescued by a swarthy, muscled German cop named Rexroth. Of course, her new knight in shining armor is not as he seems, and Brooklyn just jumped from the frying pan into the fire...
Rexroth was a complete madman. I found it hilarious how badly he abused his authority and people's automatic trust due to him being a cop. Whatever boundaries and limits you'd think he wouldn't cross, he blows past them. Brooklyn was screwed since the beginning - if she never reciprocated his feelings, this book would've easily turned into a bad ending horror story. Luckily(???) she did, so he did not end up chaining her permanently in his cabin and forcing himself on her. Brooklyn herself is pretty crazy for being aroused by all the things she suspected he did, so I guess it all works out with a HEA 🤷 .
A dark and spicy stalker romance about a young woman who is saved from a stalker, only to have her savior become obsessed with her. Roth becomes her new stalker wanting to protect her and know what she’s doing at all times. He’s got a darkness inside of him and his obsession with Brooklyn makes that darkness hard to hide.
I enjoyed the story, the spice, and the ending. I took off a star because of grammar issues. Using she instead of her and different ways that things were worded took away from my focus on the story. Other than that it was a fantastic stalker romance. Roth is incredibly dark, wanting the woman he’s obsessed with, to be equally obsessed with him. Some of the things he does are definitely over the top but I enjoyed reading them. Overall a fantastic stalker romance. This was my first book by Ever Lilac and I would read books by her again.
Once again, good bones but awful execution. The word choices are off sometimes, too, which makes the writing even harder to understand. And then there were these two gems, with odd comparisons that aren't that appealing if you think about it:
---"There’s a stubborn bump in his chin, his jaw looking like it used to belong to a cyborg."
---"Her breasts push against my chest, soft as snowballs...."
I can understand the cyborg thing a little, I guess, but I'm thinking of a very specific chin/jaw from something I've seen and it's not looking that attractive in human form in my head.
Then the snowball thing... Has this author ever held a snowball? Snowballs are hard and rough because you've compacted snow into a tight ball; if it's soft, it's because the snow is way too loose and it's not an actual snowball, just a clump of snow. But maybe they've encountered a soft snowball in their life?

First time reading this author. Could use a bit more editing but story was great. Probably the most stalker-ish book I’ve ever read but it was still pretty hot and yummy. Most book stalkers are over protective alpha males just trying to keep their girl safe but this was not so much that as genuine over the line stalking, which as I said...hot! But just an FYI if it’s not your thing. Little to no character development which was ok but a few hints were dropped eluding to H history that could have been developed further (I was actually curious to learn more about him from the hints of his upbringing and what happened to cause his scars, and the body carving thing could have maybe been explained better or made more sense with his history?). In any case I like my books quick and dirty and this hit the spot. Looking forward to checking out more from this author ASAP!
Roth is a cop, a detective. He came and protect Brooklyn from a stalker who came in her home. But police officers and Detective Roth came and saved her. Roth and Brooklyn are attracted or have develop feelings for one another. They both have fantasy of seduction attraction about the other. This is a wonderful sexy story about a alpha commanding man, a beautiful lovely lady who love all of him even his darker side.
-dual POV -no separation -no cheating -no ow drama -virgin h/non virgin H -insta love/lust -h(early 20's)/H(early 30's) -OTT possessive jealous hero (he carved the h's name on his dick and continued to stalk her even after they were married without her knowing, his obsession with her was out of control but I actually liked how intense he was) -epilogue: 5 years and 3 years later -married with a kid and another on the way
The H is most definitely dark, possessive, obsessive, and over the top. In a review of one of the author’s other stalker books, I put his behavior at level 47. This one is at like level 64 at least. He is intense and, frankly, it makes the h seem a little too oblivious.
Brooklyn can't seem to shake the feeling of being watched. What surprises her is that she finds it comforting having someone watch out for he after her stalker broke into her home and almost attacked her. When she discovers the truth of who's following her will she surrender or fight her dark follower?
I read several reviews before reading this book, and they all warned that this is a bit more stalkery and dark than a typical stalker novel, and they were not kidding!! This story boasts two stalkers, and more of an anti-hero than a hero. Despite that, it has a HEA.
I don’t know how this book isn’t popular! It is 😘👌🏻 *chef kiss* ! If you love Jessa Kane or Alexa RIley, or really any of the more popular authors of spicy romance novellas I can guarantee this book is right up your alley, and seriously amazing.
This book was kind of messed up. If this was real life I would be very concerned, he is so jealous that a man touching her shoulder would send him into a jealous rage. That’s scary behavior.
If you also love a yummy big alpha with a stalking habit you will love this book. One of the best stalking books I’ve read because the mystery remains throughout.
"My mouth drops in terror when I see what he’s done with his shaft. There’s letters carved along the thick base, seemingly done with a blade recently and they spell...
Brooklyn."

To think I thought Floyd was sick and a pervert. I think that Roth is worse. To think of all of the people he hurt instead of telling the men to stay away from his wife. Not sure about Beauty, I think she is a little off herself. Thanks.
Well this was different, Definitely not for the faint hearted, rather dark and a little distributing, I liked it. Not sure if recommend it too family lol, but I'd mention it in certain adult book groups!
This book is not what I was thinking it would be but so damn good. Hands down just became my favorite!!! Wish it had a part 2 but its cool. Can't wait to read more.
