I have read and loved the men of Club X and man oh man, I was so excited to hear we would be getting the kids stories!
This book grabbed my attention from the first chapter and it was such a CAPTIVATING ride I didn't want it to end.
Oh Cade March......so much like his father, sexy, handsome, life of the party but the difference between the two.....Cade doesn't want to follow in his father's footsteps when it comes to club life. Hailey is the unexpected woman that catches his attention and she didn't trust easily because who would someone like Cade want to be with her. She doesn't see what he see's but he didn't give up but what happens when a little lie ruins everything? Find out in the conclusion of their consuming story Infamous!

I have to say that I loved every moment reading Notorious. I have been in a book slump and really needed a story that made not only feel everything, but make feel like I was right with the characters. And that book cover! I can't get over it. So consider this my 10 Star Review!
The new NEXT series starts off with a bang. I love Hailey. She is shy, sweet, and content with the moment. I swear I could feel her butterflies every time she would run into Cade.
Cade was knocked out by how he felt the pull to Hailey. It was the first for him and he wants more. He truly needed her in his space, life, and heart. These two had me in a fit of giggles at times.
Notorious was a sweet and sexy escape! I am excited for this series that hasn't happened in so long! Notorious left me with a serious book hangover! I need more :)

The NeXt generation ... what a start
What a wonderful way to start the stories of the NeXt generation of the children from the men of Club X. If you loved that series, then you are definitely going to want to follow this one.
Cade March is the son of Stefan, and as the saying goes ... like father, like son. He's cocky, brash, delectable, gorgeous, but he has no idea what he wants to do with his life. At the moment he's having too much fun living and loving life, partying, being free and living of his trust fund. That's about to change though, in more ways than one. His father and a woman are about to change everything for Cade.
"I can't help but notice how beautiful she is when she smiles. It's like someone has lit her up from the inside."
Hailey Canton is different from other women her age, she hides herself from the world. An event from her past has left her hurt and unable to give her trust easily. Hailey is gifted though; she has a natural talent for making delicious desserts. Although she has received offers to work elsewhere, she continues to work in the diner restaurant her parents own. A sneak peek through the kitchen door window is going to turn her little world upside down. Is she ready for it?

I fell for both Cade and Hailey. Here was this lively, outgoing man determined to get the shy, untrusting woman to trust him, to not run away from her fears. his tenderness with her was perfect, yet he was also able to relay that he wanted more, just as she was able to. As Hailey begins to trust Cade their friendship evolves and they become closer. But what will happen if Cade ever betrays her trust?
I was wonderful catching up with Stefan, Cassian and Kane (Cade's father and uncles). These men seem to have grown wiser with age ... if that was ever impossible. I also enjoyed seeing the friendship that Cade had with his cousin Alex (that man really needs his own story told), as does Meadow, Hailey's best friend.
Overall, this was a terrific read and I can't wait for book 2 ,b>Infamous, especially after that cliffhanger.

CADE MARCH is the son of Stefan March. Yeah, that Stefan March!! Stefan is one of three brothers who own Club X and Stefan manages the bar. Like Stefan, Cade loves women. He is not someone who gives up easily and always gets what he wants. And he wants Hailey Canton.
Hailey is talented, a little broken and fragile. At least that is the way her parents treat her. She is working for her family to help them financially despite her pastries becoming well known and in demand. The last thing she needs is a rich, spoiled playboy trying to add a notch to his bedpost. But Cade is sooooo hard to resist. And like his father, he does everything he can to become friends with Hailey – even lie to her.
Let us talk about the lie. Why? I keep asking myself while reading. Its the reason why I am rating a 4 instead of 5. It was not necessary. Hailey is unlike the women he usually dates. If Cade stop and think, he has something very much in common with Hailey. Let me know how Hailey and Cade are the same in the comments below.
I loved visiting the March men once again. Reading the Club X series was everything!!! And Notorious is the same. My only problem with Cade is the reason why we must wait for Book #2. He did not have to take the route he did. But old habits die hard apparently. And I cannot wait to see how he worm his way out!
And on another note: It was great to see Stefan parenting. He is all “do as I say not as I do” Imagine that?!!!! Check out his story and review here > SURRENDER.

This book was not at all what I expected and I’m disappointed. By the cover image (and yes, I’m a cover whore and judge a book by its cover) I expected a fast, gritty and sexy read. What I got was an insecure female who was so hot and cold it was annoying and a male character I just did not like. The sexy black car on the cover has nothing to do with the book. Maybe there should have been cookies or cupcakes because that’s what this book talks about a lot. Peach cupcakes.
Hailey was cheated on by her previous boyfriend so she has trust issues, MAJOR trust issues. Cade is a playboy who seems to be a pathological liar that can’t help but lie about stupid little things like what he does for a living. One scene Hailey can’t look at Cade and is running away from him because she can’t believe someone like him would even want to talk to someone like her and the next scene she has her legs open while he goes down on her for hours after their second “date” - did I miss something in the middle there? I love a good game of hard to get but this was so cheesy I couldn’t do it.
Hailey keeps wondering what club he “manages” and if he will ever take her there. Even though she is terrified to go out with anyone and has to consult her therapist at every turn. When her best friend drags her to the club of course she sees Cade who didn’t know she was there and all her insecurities come rushing back.
This book ends on a “cliffhanger” if you want to call it that as it was book 1 of a duet. It didn’t leave me wanting to dive in to book 2 and I don’t know if I will honestly.

"Notorious" is the first book in the NeXt series, which is the stories of the children born to the men from the Club X series by K.M. Scott. This is the story of Cade March who happens to be the spitting image of his father Stefan March. Cade is all grown up but he doesn't know what he wants to do with his life just yet, he is having fun and loving life, living on his trust fund. Cade and his father don't always see eye to eye and that is putting it mildly. Hailey Canton loves to make desserts and she is very good at it. She works in her parents little restaurant in hopes of bringing in more business. She has been hurt and disappointed in the past and has no desire to go through that again. When Cade meets Hailey he knows that she is nothing like the women he is used to dating. He will do anything to impress her but I am pretty sure he took that impressing thing just a little too far.
I am so ready for the next book in this series as this one kind of left us hanging, yes it ends in a cliffhanger but is so worth the wait. It was great to catch up with Cades father and uncles, Stefan, Cassian, and Kane, the men from the original Club X series. Ohhhh my stars! I am SOOOO in love with this book and these characters. I have adored the Club X men for so long and now to see the next generation is mind blowing! Cade is cocky and sin on a stick but he is also so lost. You could really feel that about him and I think that is maybe why he connected to Hailey so much. The fact that she makes him work is epic as well. While we go through the motions of this story, you get the background of Hailey and as to why she has trust issues and why she feels so broken. My heart aches for her so much. Then you have Cade, who wants nothing to do with the family business but is exactly suited for it, regardless of how much he fights it. You feel how much him and his father butt heads in this story and it really is like father, like son. With every little twist and the way that ending is, it totally left me wanting more. I have adored Scott’s words for years but her work just keeps getting better and better. The fluidity of this story was so seamless that I was lost into the world she has created. A second layer of Club X if you will. It will leave you breathless! I am so looking forward to book two!

First I need to vent - Why did Hailey's parents think pressuring her to "get out there" when it was glaringly obvious her psyche was still fragile?
For some reason that was a major trigger for me. I do not know how many times I wanted to reach in and protect her from herself.
This is a slow build extremely sweet romance.
Hailey is working with some serious emotional issues. She is gifted when it comes to her craft but she needs to believe in herself again. She is trying, get out there - take baby steps. One step forward four steps back but she is still moving and for the most part in the upright position.
Until Cade.
Cade is a mix of bulldozer and Sheppard with a bone when it comes to her. I liked his tenacity and his patience when it came to Hailey.
He saw past the fear and the hurt. He saw the possibilities, the confident woman she had once been.
Both are facing the crossroads of adulthood and all of the decisions that come with it.
Apart they are treading water.
But together?
They have a chance of thriving.
I want Alex's story!

Everything that comes from KM Scott is a great read. Her writing is different (good different) and you know you are in for a good read from 1st chapter on.
Notorious is the first book about Cade (son of Stefan March from Club X series) and Hailey. It ends in cliffhanger.

Notorious by K.M. Scott is the First book in the NeXt Series. This is the story of Hailey Canton and Cade March. This series is a Spin off from the Club X series but this is the next generation....their kids lives. I do feel this can start out as a standalone book so if you haven't yet read those then like me you will be okay. Cade is enjoying life but hasn't decided what he really wants to do with his life yet. Hailey is a hard worker who loves to create deserts for her parents restaurant in hopes of expending into more. What she doesn't want is to deal with a hurt heart which is what she sees when thinking of dealing with Cade. Cade knows when he meets Hailey that she is different and he takes things pretty far to empress her. Enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next installment into the series. This book does leave you sitting up the story for the next book.

Cade is Stefan's son (Stefan who co-owns Club X with his brothers), but while Cade loves the women like his father did, he doesn't want to follow in his footsteps. Hailey is a talented young lady with a past that has broken her a bit, so she doesn't trust easily, nor does she have much confidence. Cade wants Hailey but he has quite the battle since she doesn't know what he sees in her, and he makes a big mistake in his pursuit to be honest. It's this mistake that felt unnecessary & made no sense to me but I'm intrigued to see how he's going to get out of it when push comes to shove since Hailey isn't the normal type of woman he goes for. Now the wait begins which does have me dying inside a bit so the next book cannot come quickly enough because I'm praying that Cade can man up & fix things! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Cade March is a legacy child, he has it all and the March name as well. One day on a whim with Cousin Alex, they head to a place he has never been before. Alex is there because their uncle's have an interest in a pastry guru. Little to Cades surprise, the person in question is gorgeous.
Hailey can't imagine who these guys are but she is drawn to Cade. She is somewhat of a wounded bird whose confidence is near 0. Cade is determined to win her but finds she is just he wanted but never knew. Cade gets Hailey to go out with him but a small lie slips from his lips. Lies have gotten Cade into much trouble and Alex reminds him of this. Trust and truth are Hailey's safe place. After a fabulous beginning Cades lie hits Hailey in the face..Are they over before they have begun..follow me to Book 2 of this series to see. Great author and a great read..

Love the March brother's kids. Great to read about such a close family.

He lives the single life with no regrets until he meets Hailey. She's a regular girl who isn't impressed by what he has, but is intimidated. He falls head over heals for her. She has been hurt in the past and is skeptical about getting serious with someone she feels is out of her league. When Hailey catches Cade in a lie, will that be the end of their relationship before it gets the chance to really begin. Can't wait for book two to find out how they hopefully find their HEA.

This is the first book in this series by this author. This story follows the characters Cade and Hailey, they have a slow build, sweet romance. You will fall in love with the characters from the start. I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn't put this book down till I'd got to the end. This is a hot and steamy and sexy romance read from this author. The twist at the end will leave you wanting and needing more in this series.

I have always been a Club X fan, I’ve read and re-read the books. This is the first of the next generation of the men from Club X... and it did not disappoint!
Cade, Stefans son, is charismatic, handsome and sexy, but doesn’t really know what he wants to do...he’s the life of the party, but looking for some sort of direction.
Hailey is more shy and reserved. She works in her parents restaurant and bakes. She doesn’t understand what Cade sees when he looks at gopher, but she’s sure it’s not her. How can someone like him want her?
This book is well written and easy to read because it’s so very good!! KM Scott set this up perfectly to leave us wanting more!

The book is about two different people struggling to find who the are.
We have Hailey who is quiet,shy and has trust issues that weights her down in relationship.Hailey finds peace in baking deserts in her family restaurant when her life was spiraling.
Then we have Cade who has no commitments,responsibilities and lives on his Trust fund not ready settle down on a job,Especially the family business.
Cade meets Hailey at her family’s dinner and finds her intriguing and starts pursuing Hailey.
As Hailey starts to open up to Cade and a relationship is forming.Hailey insecurities comes crashing down when she find Cade has been lying.

I will admit to not reading all the original Club X books, but I love reading about second generation families so that we can catch a glimpse of previous couples.
Cade is a handful, a pathological liar (harmless little lies, though), whom thinks he had swagger and charm. Hailey is a beautiful, broken woman home from college after a devastating event that had her doubting herself, and everyone around her. How Cade was able to connect with her I'm still in shock over, but she falls for him so hard and fast.
This book does end in a cliffhanger, and I'm dying to see what happens!!!

A most read!!!!
First off this book ends in a cliffhanger , know that we got that out of the way :) . I love this book . I have been a fan of the ClubX series for a while and was excited to have next generation of March/Jackson kids. Cade if a replica of his father fun rich and enjoys life so when he meets Hailey that is the opposite of him . Hailey is shy reserve and have trust issues. So Cade has to work super hard to win Hailey trust and heart. Thank you Ms.Scott for these books and story’s.

Ah Cade the guy that cruises through life and doesn't really give others any thought finally gets a reality check when he meets Hailey who to be fair I think is too good for Cade but I wanted to see if he could show he actually cares for others and can put them first. Cade has his work cut out for him to show that Hailey means everything to him, there are highs and lows as well as times you want to shake them as well as hug them and it also ends on a cliffy but it's well worth it as you are hooked from the beginning!!

April 1, 2021This is the first book in The NeXt Series, a Club X next generation Series. This is a great introduction to the series. Cade and Hailey's story is well written, and intriguing. Their story ends with a cliffhanger, and I can't wait for the conclusion of Cade and Hailey's story in Infamous, the next book in the Series. Cade is Stefan's son from Surrender, book 2 in the Club X Series. I really need to read the Club X Series!

The Kids from Club X, they are chips off their parents. Cade is Stefans son, and although they don’t always see eye to eye. Cade finds a young lady who catches his eye, who he does his best to Woo, her. Not being completely honest, he finds out lies alway come back to haunt you. Great story, cannot wait for part 2. Loved this story❤️

ARC Review For honest review. This is a awesome story of cade March who is a trust fund kid who is still trying to find himself . When he meets hailey canton a pastry chef at comfort foods restaurant run by her parents . He finds that this girl has trust issues. I can't wait to see more of these two characters.

Edge of your seat storyline with dynamic characters through and through. I could not love Cade and Hailey more. To be honest I avoid cliff hangers and this one leaves you teetering on the bluff with no where to go. Gah!!!

Cade has a rare day off of work so Alex and him go for a drive. Alex makes him stop at diner and eat. That’s where he meets Hailey who makes the delicious desserts and he can’t stop looking at her. Hailey is attracted to him but she ignores it. When her mother hears about it she reminds her that she’s young and should try to meet someone. Will Hailey listen? Will Cade put in the work to get her!

Cade is rich, gorgeous and can have anyone he wants for a date. Hailey is a baker and doesn't easily trust anyone due to her past. She can't understand what someone like Cade would see in her. Cade sees Hailey as beautiful, successful and just as lost as he is now. I really loved reading about this couple and look forward to their next book.
