Sarah lives in California, in a home that brings her happiness and hay fever. She loves God, loves her family, and loves freshly brewed coffee. She has a husband who cooks, a son who stop animates, a daughter who loves animals, a dog that follows her everywhere, and a turtle who scowls at her condescendingly.
Her mother raised her on Mary Higgins Clark, Diane Mott Davidson, and Remington Steele. Her grandmother shared True Crime stories with her as they plotted how to get away with the perfect murder. It's no surprise that Sarah became an award-winning spinner of suspenseful tales brimming with quirky characters. Mysteries are in her blood. Not that she could survive one of her own stories. She confesses, "I'd be snuffed out by chapter two."

With her new job on the goat farm things are going well for Penny. Unfortunately, she is reluctant to get close to anyone else on the farm in case the raven puts in an appearance. It doesn’t take long until Penny realises something weird is going on. The raven appears, but this time doesn’t seem to be linked to anyone specific. Then she comes across a dead body and things go from odd to downright bizarre. Penny’s moving closer to trying to find her sister, and I think the events taking place at the end of this book might speed up the process.
So this one is suppose to maybe be a bit comedic?? Dry humor perhaps? Well, it failed. It just had me arching my eyebrows a lot. Everyone is hiding a piece of the puzzle and no one is coming clean. And much as Penny supposedly wanted to call the police, she never does! Why she could have. I just don't get it. Maddy is the only decent character in this one, in regards to new acquaintances of Penny. And even then, I didn't care for her. I am starting to get impatient to learn more about Penny's past as well. Barley 3 stars. 2.5 is more accurate.
Once again Penny finds herself fearing a sighting. When she gets it she’s able to turn to the two people she tries not to care too much about so they don’t get targeted too. I enjoyed the setting and characters, as crazy as they were. The end left me a bit let down and confused after all the build up in the ‘Trouble With Harry’ type mystery.

I received an ARC of Tailed from Booksprout and the author. This is a great story about Penny who sees A Raven as a mark of death and then she tries to help deal with it. I could not put this book down and read it all at once. Penny is an amazing character and I love to read about her adventures. I can't wait to see where life takes her in the next story.
Colleen’s ex is dead, but everyone is taking a part in claiming they did it! Well, not Penny. She’s the only one thinking clearly. And who is the stalker guy in black? This was one crazy and funny adventure. Buried, dug up, cleaned? This series is great!

This book was so good! It has a mystery to solve and just enough suspense and drama to keep you turning the pages. I love this series, all of the books are really good.

Set aside much of a day for this PG third episode of the paranormal life of orphaned Penny Nichols and Spades her cat as she works at Tufts and Tails goat farm while still seeking her long-lost twin sister.

Tailed sees Penny working on a farm with people who are hiding more secrets than Penny herself.
This cozy mystery felt different from the previous ones, the character dies before the Raven properly gives his omen. However that doesn't stop the way Penny works to solve this murder. The characters in Tailed are great in the way they are all a mystery to work out, their actions are not normal and it was really good seeing Penny as the more sane one. The introduction of a mystery character was intriguing and the build up around him had me turning the pages. Though this mystery person doesn't fully reveal himself. The writing and story building is great, the storyline gets stronger with each novel and it's a series I can't put down.
A different style of story in the series as there was less of a murder-mystery plot and more of a clean-up-stuff-after plot. I'm still interested in what's happening with Penny, and why she gets the omens and what the different omens mean. I would like the story arc regarding her missing sister to pick up more, and it would be nice to see her interacting with TC in person. I read this on Kobo Plus.
