It's really difficult for me to rate this comic, there are loads of things I love and find intriguing but there are an equal amount of things that are overcomplicated, underdeveloped or just confusing.

The world building is really interesting but there are multiple concepts that either should've been explained better or not introduced at all. Other things just felt unnecessary and convoluted like what happened to Nabi's cousin which ended up being completely inconsequential and nothing more than flavour text. Adding flavour isn't a bad thing but it should be brief and definitely not compromise the logic of any core concepts in the world.

I really like the characters and the way they're introduced and even though Nabi is the stereotypical orphan it's very nice to see a main character actually receiving help, love and care from their guardians. On a similar note, the platonic relationships are mostly believable and sufficiently developed but the romantic relationships leave a lot to be desired.

It's one thing for side characters to rely on love at first sight but for the main couple to have had no in-depth conversations or spend any time together is a huge problem for me, especially if I'm supposed to be rooting for them. Sure, I can suspend my disbelief a bit but when even the main character herself points out that she might just like the person's pretty looks I find it extremely hard to believe it's a love worth dying for.

However, when it comes to the art I have nothing negative to say! The character design is wonderful, movements and space-time are easy to understand, I love the art style and the visual storytelling is amazing. Color is used to convey a multitude of things and in addition to some symbols, the characters' color coding is often used to give hints or add detail. What I found most intriguing is how color was used to obscure things or plant red herrings for the readers who caught on to the symbolism.

All in all, this was a very enjoyable read even though it felt convoluted or anticlimactic at times. My criticisms mainly boil down to the storytelling needing to be more refined and streamlined and if I hadn't liked the premise and characters so much I wouldn't be this bothered in the first place

The story has potential, but since the pace was too slow, it made the progress boring and I decided to drop this manhwa. I also find some chapters to be messy where I can't understand some of the information or the progress of the story. I've been seeing reviews that the art is beautiful, but I guess that this art style was not my cup of tea.

I enjoyed it, but the insta love was kind if obnoxious.... interesting world building and I liked the duality of the reapers.
