Welcome to the Second Land, a battle-torn world of animal-people, elves, sorcerers, and upheaval…

Elle Takra is a princess, the last heir to the Takra throne in a far-off place known as the Second Land.

Having grown up in the First Land, Elle doesn’t know she’s a princess. All she does know is that she’s in love with a man named Simon and she intends to make Simon her husband, whether he agrees or not!

Elle’s best friend, Sasha, does know the truth—a truth she’s been keeping from Elle for the entirety of their friendship.

Sasha isn’t the twenty-two-year-old she pretends to be. Instead, she’s an eighty-four-year-old elf who acts as Elle’s protector and has from the moment Elle was born.

Sasha knows there are too many people in the Second Land who want Elle dead. She just isn’t sure who—something she’ll soon learn when Elle and Simon are kidnapped and forced to return to the Second Land.

But Elle and Simon aren’t the only ‘First Landers’ who find themselves stranded in a foreign place, surrounded by enemies.

Enter Patch Keaton who washes up on unfriendly shores after a freak storm destroys his sailboat.

Lost, confused, and eager to return home, Patch’s destiny becomes intertwined with Elle’s in the most unfortunate of circumstances…

Elle Takra has been away from her love, Simon, for too long. On the day he’s to come pick her up from her aunt’s, Elle is dismayed to find her bestie, Sasha behind the door. Of course, she’s happy to see Sasha too, but disappointed that Simon couldn’t be bothered to make the 2-day trip. If only that was the worst thing to happen. Upon arrival to Simon’s house, Elle and Sasha note some weird happenings and soon Elle finds herself the victim of a kidnapping. She and Simon have ended on a water vessel in an area she’s not familiar with. Thankfully, Sasha has come to the rescue. What follows is Sasha’s revelation that Elle is a princess, the last one in the Takra line for the throne in the Second Land. Sasha has been her protector and Elle needs Sasha now more than ever.

Meanwhile, Patrick “Patch” Keaton gets caught in horrible storm on his sailboat. When his battered body comes to on the shore of a mysterious island, things continue to get weird. Feline people appear, angry army soldiers attack, and Patch finds himself immersed in a world he never knew about. When his path crosses with Elle, Simon, and Sasha their lives will be forever changed.

Princess of Lost Memories is a fun and exciting fantasy adventure. The world created by the authors is interesting, intriguing, and descriptive. The characters are well-written, 3-dimensional, and provide a great source of entertainment. The story is fast-paced, light, and full of humor. I enjoyed the book and look forward to the next one in the series.

Elle growing up in First land , doesn't know she is the last heir to the Takra throne . She is a princess and doesn't remember anything except that she is in love with Simon . But instead of Simon coming to pick her up it was her friend Sasha who isn't what she appears to be . She is there to protect and keep them both safe . All they want to do is get home and they aren't the only one . Patch finds them and is entwined with them . Will they be able to figure out what is going on and hopefully stay safe and get the princess back to her home .
This is a laugh out loud read . The characters are so well written and complex . Elle is a sweet girl who just wants to marry Simon and live happily ever after . She is sweet, kind and just a little naive . Sasha is more then meets the eye, she is strong and a friend for life . But she is also a warrior that is there to protect young Elle. She kind of stole the show for me .She took over and just won my heart . There are so many good characters in this story you will find one that you will love .
This is a fun, fast read, I love these two authors way of writing . They can write dark and light and funny. This is the light and funny side of them. There were times in this book where I actually snorted out loud . The story is interesting and the characters are so much fun to read . I can't wait to see where the authors take the characters . So if you want a laugh out loud read check it out.

This the story of Elle and Patch , and Simon, and all the others. Elle comes across as a spoiled princess who has unilaterally made her mind to marry Simon although she has not seen him in the last 30 days
Because, oh what a hardship, she was asked to go help her aunt with the children since she is pregnant, a recent widow and she is about to deliver her new baby. On the 30th day of her"ordeal", her friend Sasha comes to pick her up instead of Simon. She is so wrapped up in herself that she fails to see that the world does not revolve around her.
As the story progresses, she will be part of adventures across two different realms , one being inhabited by other paranormal races.
I must confess that Elle's spoiled attitude through me off from the start as she is the main character, being the princess. Then the other characters make their appearance from God knows where. I must confess that the story had me skip pages to get or try to get to the plot. 3 Stars max.

Elle makes home to see Simon as a month apart. Simon introduces her to a stranger, then something strange happens. Elle wakes up in a different world, she learns some information from her friend. Elle is going to have to figure out what is going and why.

This was an interesting first book to series, the authors created an unique world to enjoy. There is something for everyone in this book. Recommend reading

Elle is infatuated with Simon, whose affection is fleeting. She is betrayed and her life is at risk. Nothing is as she thought it was and a whole new life opens for her. Patch finds himself in a new world when his ship capsizes. It is filled with shape shifters, sorcerers and danger. Finding out she is a royal whose memories may be wiped to keep her safe is a game changer.

Strange but enjoyable

Good fantasy story. God against evil with a heroine who did know who she was and of course a hero. I just was I could read a novel that had an ending and didn't require me to buy several more to complete the story. Sadly "stand alone" books, especially n the fantasy field are extinct

Interesting story, but it was hrs for me to get into. I felt a little lost at times. It got really good at the end. The main character made me a bit crazy, but I really feel that what was the author was trying to do. We will see how the next book goes.

love these authors

Yet another fascinating series by some of my favorite authors. Things I enjoyed include: more than one world, possibly different times, alien type people, irritating yet interesting characters. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

good

Good read, but not my favorite from this power duo. This is only because I did not like the main female char. The girl was a brat.

Elle, Elle, Elle... She's a little naive, a little too simple. I like her, she's funny, lives in a fanciful bubble that's about to pop but I'm not in love with her..I'm hoping her character grows and becomes the kickbutt heroine I've come to expect from a Mallory story.

Sasha..steals the book even though she's full of secrets that will leave the reader ready to throttle her. She's a fierce character.
